Biography: Another graduate of the third class. He qualified for dojo entry in early 2002 and showed much promise almost immediately. Kawachi is credited for using a basic style of wrestling, but utilizing certain moves that makes them more appealing to fans. (Example: Handspring Dropkick.) Kawachi already shows to be a future prospect in the Jr. Heavyweight division. Kawachi has always been a fan of Jr. Heavyweight wrestling, saying that it is the most exciting style in the world... Recently, Kawachi has gone under a complete makeover, and now appeals more to female fans of FURY in the new "Jet Generation" unit with Kazumitsu Takemura and Hidaka Kamon. Kawachi went under yet another transformation towards the end of 2004, as after returning from "Idol Training", he announced he had mistakenly been taken to a teaching academy... and made the best of a bad situation, thus becoming "Kawachi-sensei". He now portrays a gimmick that of a teacher, loosely based on tha Takeshi Onizuka manga/anime/drama character. Despite the goofiness of the gimmick, it has won over many fans for Kawachi, who has now become a regular fixture on several small variety shows on Japanese television. In 2007, Kawachi, along with the other members of Jet Generation agreed to dissolve the unit in order to begin a new chapter in their careers.
