- For the fifth time in company history, FURY returned to Osaka Castle Hall. And for the first time ever, packed the building completely with well over 16,000 fans in attendance, setting an all-time attendance record for the company. After the full card was read out to the crowd, the show immediately began with the first match, as Pro-Wrestling FURY clashed with Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON in a swiftly paced six-man tag opener. Shirai and Kaisen Tiger started the match, showing off fast paced lucha. Later, Daishi locked horns with former CRIMSON alumni YAKUTA. Both teams had superb teamwork, but it appeared as if the experience and chemistry of CHAOTICS would leave them to victory. However, the CRIMSON team made a spirited comeback. All six men went at it in the ring, with eventually only Shirai and Kaisen Tiger remaining. The two engaged in another flurry of lucha exchanges, before Shirai finally connected with the Okinawa Driller. But as he tried to finish Tiger with the Suika Seed, Tiger managed to get his knees up! With Shirai stunned, Tiger came roaring off the ropes, HAMMERING into Shirai with the Bullet Wrath, while holding onto Shirai's legs for the cover, only to get a 2.8 count! Tiger then pulled Shirai out of the corner, and finished Shirai with the Tsuki Hikari (Moon Light) inverted 450! The CRIMSON team briefly celebrated in the ring before leaving. Ota praised their opponents for their skill, and said he felt no shame in losing... YAKUTA however jokingly chastised Shirai for losing...
- The next match involved two former Ozekis who have go on to the Pro-Wrestling ring, as FURY's Chikao Kessin faced former Pro-Wrestling ZION and CRIMSON star, Izumo Yoritomo. The match was far from what most fans would consider a GOOD match, but the Osaka crowd were heavily into the atmosphere of the match between the two. Obviously, both men's sumo past played into the match, as they opened by charging at one another, with palms flying. Yoritomo then scored the first psychological blow of the match, as he THREW Kessin to the mat, garnering a huge reaction from the sold out crowd. Kessin recovered, albeit a little embarrassed. The two went at it again, only this time it was Kessin who would overthrow the bigger Yoritomo to the ground! Kessin quickly moved away from his sumo style, and reverted to full blown "pro-wrestler" mode, as he collided with Yoritomo in the corner using a lariat, before mustering all of his strength to BODYSLAM the 184kg Yoritomo! Kessin would go on to score a near fall after dropping his massive leg across the back of Yoritomo's skull. However, Yoritomo would fight his way out of Kessin's Backdrop attempt, and counter the Izumo Thunder! But as Yoritomo went to follow up, Kessin caught him with two consecutive Back Blows to the side of the skull, properly setting up the SEKAI ICHI NO BACKDROP!! The impressive feat of strength garnered an enormous reaction from the fans, who followed with cheers as Kessin managed to score the three count! After the match, Yoritomo said he was in awe of Kessin's strength, and admitted that he underestimated him... Kessin said that Yoritomo's downfall was expecting nothing more that a match between two sumos, saying that he had given up his sumo ways years ago, and has since "graduated" to being a complete pro-wrestler. Kessin didn't discount the merits of being a sumo, saying it is a fundamental way of building one's body and mind, but said that it's a one-dimensional lifestyle, while being a professional wrestler embodies many different ideologies and styles...
- In the third match, NEW FORCE, along with Kazuki Sendo, did battle with UPRISER'Z in an exciting six-man tag. WCC's Eric Dane returned to the FURY ring, representing UPRISER'Z. Dane started the match against former tag partner C. Bones, as the two displayed "true American pro-wrestling" to the Osaka crowd. The match was non-stop, with bodies flying around at a rapid pace. In the end, Etsuya Kawachi would catch RYUJI with the go 2 school to take the match for NEW FORCE. After the match, Kazuki Sendo, who admitted that he was simply thrown into the match due to there being no other empty slots on the card, asked to become a MEMBER of NEW FORCE. Kawachi, who unofficially dubbed himself the "Chairman of Recruiting" said he was 60/40 on the idea, but said he was tired of carrying his owns bags since Kamon had finally stopped... Kawachi suggested a trial series for Sendo in January to prove his worth, but said they would accept him as a trial member for the time being.
- Members of Mushozoku faced STRONG RIDERS in the next match, dubbed "GO! FIGHT! WIN!" The match proved to be good experience for Tetsujin, who showed some serious growth in exchanges with both Otsuo Kayusa and Kyoshima Yosuken. In the end however, it would be Kenichiro Hujikawa who would prove to be too much for Tetsujin, who was downed after taking Hujikawa's vicious Axe Bomber K. Tetsujin was praised afterwards... Both teams spoke after the match, namely on Ryo Inoue. Kayusa said he still hadn't forgave Inoue for his treatment of Kenichiro Hujikawa, and said that if he were to win tonight, he would be the first to challenge him. Hujikawa however said regardless, his aim was another match against Inoue. Nakata himself spoke very apologetically, saying it was his responsibility to defend the FURY mat against Inoue on 12/06, but he failed...
- The next match, titled "NO MORE VAUDEVILLE" featured three of pro-wrestling's most beloved comedy figures. But tonight, there would be no comedy, as Go Taniguchi and Kinniku Kamen Nisei faced Hokkaido's Joshyn Hasagawa and Atsushi Ono. While Taniguchi, Hasagawa, and Ono were prepared for the serious battle, Nisei was disappointed that he couldn't make the fans laugh. And when he'd try, Go would correct him by slapping him in the back of the head... Nisei and the older Hasagawa opened the match with some fast paced action, showing Hasagawa could still go at his old age. Go and Ono were later tagged in, as the match fell apart (in more ways than one...) as the two immediately began brawling in the crowd. Nisei would still try to entertain the crowd with comedy while Go would be distracted, but somehow, Go would still manage to return to the ring just to slap Nisei in the back of the head... Go and Ono's fight eventually got out of hand, forcing referee Edd Sasaki to call for a no contest, much to the disappointment of the crowd... However, both men continued fighting, much to the ire of Nisei, who finally grabbed the microphone, screaming "...STOP IT!!!" Nisei exclaimed how this atmosphere was "no fun," and asked the three if they really wanted to leave a bad impression on the fans of Osaka... Both Joshyn and Ono lowered their heads, and admitted that they were having no fun. Nisei screamed, "YOSSHA! TRANSFORM!" which led to the lights fading to black... After about fifteen seconds, the lights came back up, revealing JOSHYN THE MIGHTY, and ATSUZUMA OJITA! Go however refused to participate, saying he was now a serious wrestler, and would not revert to such "theatrics." Nisei signed, and proceeded to reach under the ring, revealing a CHECKERS BOARD. Go immediately got white in the face, nervously asking, "..W...What are you doing!?" Nisei stalked Go, who began to COWER into the corner, before finally being SMACKED over the head! Go froze in place, before grabbing his head in "agonizing pain." The lights faded once more as Go screamed, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" And to the delight of the Osaka crowd, as the lights came back up, HISAI TOMAGOTCHI had returned to the FURY ring! The match restarted, and, obviously was nothing but comedy until the end, with Hisai, Joshyn and Ono pulling out all of their trademark comedy spots. In the end, Nisei would pull off the cradle win over Ojita after avoiding the deadly "Ojita Lariat!" All three (minus Ojita, who needed to be stretchered out...) shook hands afterwards, calling an end to their feud.
- Following intermission, President Nishida greeted the fans to a loud ovation. He said it was hard to express just how excited he was tonight, saying this was the first time he has been to Castle Hall as President. He said that now there is a stereotype where the President always makes big announcements during every big match show, and hopes his announcements will be considered as such... However, Nishida said he was far too nervous to make the announcements himself, so he needed someone to help him... This brought out KAZUMA FUJITA, who received a heroes welcome from the hometown Osaka crowd. Fujita was quick to give an update on his condition, saying he was feeling stronger with each passing day, and said he goal was to return in early 2009...
Fujita then moved onto the President's announcements, first revealing the 2009 "Big Match" schedule. Four shows will outline the year, taking place in February, May, August, and December. In February, FURY will advance once again upon the Kyoto City Gymnasium. May, of course will be the widely known "DREAM + INFINITE IV" super show, as FURY advances upon the Kyocera Dome in Osaka. FURY will then return to the Ryogoku Kokugikan on 8/11 for "ERUPTION'09" and finally, Kobe World Hall will house the final big show of the year for "FURY WORLD 2009."
President Nishida spoke next, and explained that FURY's philosophy in 2009 will be "glocal expansion." "Glocal" meaning the merging between "Global" and "Local" Obviously, the local expansion was just explained by Fujita. Nishida once again outlined plans for FURY's American expansion in March with one change, however. Due to undisclosed reasons, FURY has been forced to cancel it's proposed show in Astoria, Oregon. However, in addition to the 3/07/09 show in Los Angeles, FURY will advance upon the island of HAWAII on 3/10/09!
However, FURY will also advance towards another country, as FURY will hold its first show in CHINA. However, President Nishida said more information would be made in the coming weeks. As always, he thanked the fans for their support, and asked them to enjoy the rest of the show.
- The show quickly picked up, as perhaps the greatest "Senpai vs. Kouhai" rivalry ever seen in pro-wrestling had yet another chapter as ATSUKA faced Yoshihiro Shimoda. Going in, both men promised to show the "most advanced" pro-wrestling. And tonight, the two failed to disappoint by going at a break-neck pace. ATSUKA played the antagonist for the match, taking any sort of jab he could at Shimoda, be it a sneaky slap after a rope break, or an extra stomp to the head while holding a submission. Shimoda's technique helped him gain the upper hand over ATSUKA, showing that he has grown far past ATSUKA in terms of technical ability. However, ATSUKA quickly humbled him by using guile and cunning to nearly steal the match with cradles and pinning predicaments. Both men excelled in the areas of high flying, as Shimoda surprised many by pulling off several incredible maneuvers, including a Moonsault attack off the post onto the floor. ATSUKA however amazed as always, pulling off the no-touch Tornillo plancha he had sealed several years ago. Both men traded hot near falls later on, including an insane exchange of cradles, climaxing with Shimoda scoring a 2.999 count off a rana. Both men eventually resulted to mimicry as ATSUKA again pulled out his "Naniwa Lancer" cradle for a near fall. Shimoda later returned the favor with the "YT-Z" for another near fall. Shimoda however, turned up the heat by firing off POWERFUL strikes, before connecting with the Torokeru! Shimoda tried to finish with the Shinto Buster, but ATSUKA fought out of it, only to receive a SNAPPING high kick to the side of the head for his troubles... The match built wonderful towards its climax, as Shimoda hoisted ATSUKA onto the top turnbuckle, before setting ATSUKA up for an AVALANCE SHINTO BUSTER... However, ATSUKA managed to fight his way again. Shimoda attempted a leaping high kick to subdue ATSUKA, but he managed to block the shot, and responded with a JARRING slap across Shimoda's face! With him stunned, ATSUKA hooked Shimoda up, before SPIKING HIM WITH AN AVALANCHE AT-Z!!! The crowd ERUPTED in commotion and concern after the violent impact! Beaten and exhausted, ATSUKA tried to hold on tight for the cover, but perhaps pulled too hard on Shimoda's leg, as he managed to BARELY roll his shoulders at 2.9! With almost nothing left in both man's tank, ATSUKA climbed to the top, before using what little strength he had left to leap off the top with the SHOOTING STAR PRESS, hitting it flush! The crowd roared and counted along, as ATSUKA secured the big win! Both men were exhausted afterwards, with Shimoda saying he expected nothing less from his senpai. ATSUKA joked about how he thought Shimoda was to much of a "stiff," but said that he would always accept him as an equal.
- The first of three title matches was next, as the "MONSTER OUTLAWS" team of Kyoto Okazaki and F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Shin Kaiju aimed to succeed in their V3 defense of their PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team titles against the interpromotional "DREAM HEROES" team of Jet Jaguar and Nansei's GALLEON. The match got off to an immediate start, as Okazaki and Kaiju rushed out after their in-ring introduction, smashing bouquets of flowers of the challenger's heads. However, Jaguar and GALLEON quickly came back, and landed simultaneous tope suicidas onto the champions outside! The "MONSTER OUTLAWS" would not be beaten so easily however, as they used every trick in their book to stay ahead of the persistent challengers. The early going saw UPRISER'Z isolate Jaguar from his corner, making frequent tags. Jaguar eventually managed to escape their grasps after narrowly avoiding a lariat from Kaiju, allowing him to make the hot tag to GALLEON. Both masked heroes showed great team work, and had the fans on the edge of their seats with their exciting theatrics. However, the DREAM HEROES later ran into another problem in the form of constant interference from RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji, who pulled the champions through several close calls. However, Jaguar and GALLEON were soon aided by members of NEW FORCE members Etsuya Kawachi and Hidaka Kamon, who evened up the odds! Among all of the confused fighting, Kaiju and Jaguar had what would be the final encounter of the match. Kaiju kept going for big moves, with Jaguar using his speed and guile to evade, before FINALLY getting caught with a VICIOUS Kaiju Lariat! Kaiju tried to finish with Jaguar with the Death Valley Bomb, but the resilient Jaguar managed to counter out with a DDT, before following with an Abisegiri! However, Okazaki caught Jaguar coming off the ropes with a HARD bamboo sword shot, allowing Kaiju to grab hold. Okazaki climbed in to measure Jaguar for another shot. However, just as he swung, Jaguar managed to escape, causing Okazaki to smash the bamboo sword across Kaiju's skull! GALLEON quickly returned, but immediately took Okazaki out with a tackle through the ropes! With Kaiju dazed, Jaguar used his strength to lift Kaiju up, before SPIKING him with a Fisherman Buster! Rather than go for the cover, Jaguar capitalized by climbing to the top, and CRUSHING KAIJU WITH THE JAGUAR SPECIAL! Jaguar hooked the leg as referee Akinori Fuwa made the count, RENDERING THE THREE!
The post-match was emotional for Jaguar, who scared a direct fall over Shin Kaiju for the first time, along with winning only his second championship in his career. Both Jaguar and GALLEON thanked Kawachi and Kamon, who aided them in fighting off UPRISER'Z. Kamon however admitted to having an ulterior motive, saying that they had planned on challenging the winners of the match, but said they couldn't sit by and watch what was happening. Jaguar thanked them for their help, and said that they would graciously accept their challenge... GALLEON however said he was unsure of the timing, as he currently had other plans, as he issued a CHALLENGE to Shin Kaiju AND HIS F-MAX JR. HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE!
- In the eagerly anticipated semi final, TAKU and Mastodon Fukuda, the "Chojin Powers" aimed to make history by becoming the first team in FURY history to make SIX successful defenses of the F-MAX Tag Team titles. However, they would arguably face their toughest challenge to date in the form of NEW FORCE's Akira Takayoshi and Naoyuki Watanabe. To the delight of the Osaka crowd, both TAKU and Akira opted to start the match off, continuing their storied rivalry. Neither man could get the upper hand it seemed, forcing them to eventually tag out in a stalemate. The pace picked up between Watanabe and Fukuda, who immediately exchanged feats of strength. Of course, the technically sound Watanabe was no match for Fukuda's raw power. However, Watanabe easily came back to show Fukuda up with his crafty methods. The champions eventually won control, and showed why they are the #1 tag team in the world by making frequent tags, and showing off unique double team attacks. Watanabe was the unfortunate victim for the next few minutes. Every time Watanabe would be on the verge of a comeback, UPRISER'Z would interfere, easily allowing TAKU and Fukuda to retake control. NEW FORCE eventually intervened, causing another wild brawl between the two warring factions. Referee Akinori Fuwa eventually had enough, and banished BOTH factions from ringside, causing a roar of cheers! With the sides evened up, NEW FORCE was finally able to mount some offense after Watanabe made the tag to Akira. Akira ran wild with forearms and chops to both TAKU. Before Fukuda could interject, Watanabe was quick to make his return. TAKU and Akira then had the first big exchange of the match, as TAKU caught Akira with the Chojin Bomber for a 2.5 count. TAKU aimed for a second, only for Akira to avoid, and counter with a crucifix hold for another 2.5 count! The pace picked up rapidly after the thirteen minute mark, as Akira and TAKU both tagged out. Watanabe used his speed and skill to avoid Fukuda's advances, before eventually catching him with a German Suplex hold, soon followed by the Dragon Suplex hold! However, TAKU quickly broke up Watanabe's Kodou-style Dragon Suplex attempt with an axe-handle. Both whipped Watanabe off into the ropes, but as Watanabe ducked their double lariat, they were taking by surprise by Akira Takayoshi, who showed amazing agility by SWANDIVING OFF THE ROPE WITH A DOUBLE FLYING LARIAT! With TAKU subdued, Watanabe turned his focus to Fukuda again, and he caught him with a HARD Shining Kenka! For a second time, Watanabe aimed for the Kodou-style Dragon Suplex... Fukuda struggled to break free, and panicked with every inch Watanabe moved Fukuda's hands upward... However, just as Watanabe had Fukuda's hands locked, Fukuda suddenly BROKE FREE, before THROWING Watanabe onto his shoulders, and SPIKING HIM WITH THE MASTODON BUSTER!! The fans erupted with commotion as Fukuda hooked the leg for the pin, ONLY FOR WATANABE TO KICK OUT AT 2.8! Fukuda wasted no time in pulling Watanabe out of the corner, before scaling the top rope, and CRUSHING Watanabe with the Mastodon Splash! The match seemed to be at its end as Fuwa's count reached three... ONLY FOR AKIRA TO MAKE THE DIVING SAVE AT 2.9! Fukuda erupted in anger, grabbing Fuwa by the collar of his shirt. He eventually got back on track, and pulled Watanabe up while giving a "cut throat" motion, before crouching and lifting Watanabe up vertically, aiming for the deadly Mastodon Hades! However, before he could follow through, Watanabe began fighting franticly with punches to the top of Fukuda's head, before sliding down his back! Watanabe once more went for the Kodou-style Dragon Suplex, only for Fukuda to break free, and THROW WATANABE ONTO HIS SHOULDERS AGAIN! But before he could follow through with the Mastodon Buster, Watanabe countered right back with another slide down, before rushing off into the ropes... But before he could attack, Fukuda HURLED Watanabe into the air, catching him on his shoulders... But instead of going for the Mastodon Buster, Fukuda TOSSED Watanabe onto a vertical base on his shoulders, before COMPACTING HIM INTO THE MAT WITH THE MASTODON HADES! WITH EVERY LAST OUNCE OF BREATH DRIVEN FROM WATANABE'S BODY, AKINORI FUWA COUNTED THE THREE!!!
Despite UPRISER'Z coming out on top, the fans roared with applause and cheers in appreciation. TAKU and Fukuda were rightfully overjoyed with their victory, as they become the most successful F-MAX Tag Team champions in FURY history... TAKU went on to proclaim he and Fukuda the "World's Strongest Tag Team," throwing an open invitation to any team in the world to challenge them. Uncharacteristically, TAKU offered praise to both Akira and Watanabe, but still said they were "failures" at the end of the day...
- We then came to the main event, in what could arguably be the biggest match in the history of Pro-Wrestling FURY, which would be fitting given the atmosphere. The villainous "Terrorist" challenger made his entrance first, as a mixture of nostalgic cheers and boos roared over Osaka Castle Hall. Flags bearing the emblem of "T.A.P." were also raised, as Ryo Inoue made his entrance. As always, Inoue expression was stoic, showing his focus and determination. All 16,000+ came alive however for the entrance of the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion, Tetsuhisa NAKAI, who entered with his traditional Shogun big-match garb. After the title match preliminaries concluded, the gong sounded, kicking off his historic match! Both men approached the match slowly, sizing one another up. There seemed to be some tentativeness from both side early on, not knowing how to counter the others style. The two finally engaged with a tie-up, with Inoue quickly making his first move with a go-behind, before locking in a SLEEPER HOLD! NAKAI however was quick and reach for the ropes for the break... However, Inoue REFUSED to let go! Taking no chances with Inoue, Referee Edd Sasaki began rendering a fast five-count, forcing Inoue to reluctantly break the hold. After engaging again, it was NAKAI's turn, as he caught Inoue with a HARD knife-edge chop, with the sound echoing through out Castle Hall! Inoue quickly responded with a JARRING slap of his own, across NAKAI's face! Both men engaged in a rapid flurry of blows, with the rabid fans responding after every shot! When it appeared NAKAI was getting the better of the exchange, he attempted to whip Inoue off into the ropes, only for Inoue to hook the rope in defiance! NAKAI tried again, but to no success. NAKAI finally fired off another shot, breaking Inoue's grip. But as he tried to whip him, Inoue counter, and fired off a rapid three-shot flurry of slaps, allowing him to grip NAKAI and throw him to the mat with a Backdrop! Inoue showed no remorse, and followed up with a THUDDING soccer kick to NAKAI's back as he rolled to his feet. Inoue slowed down the pace by working over NAKAI with various holds affecting the right arm. As NAKAI tried to fight back to his feet, Inoue would immediately go back to the right arm with lightning fast kicks that quickly subdued him. However, with the crowd behind him, the F-MAX Heavyweight Champion valiantly fought his way to his feet, where he eventually caught one of Inoue's kicks, before BLASTING HIM WITH A VICIOUS SHORT LARIAT, DEALING INOUE HIS FIRST DECISIVE BLOW OF THE MATCH! As promised, NAKAI showed Inoue the "true aura of a pro-wrestler" by CRUSHING him with another lariat in the corner, followed by a Backdrop of his own! Inoue however refused to show weakness, and pulled himself up to his feet. NAKAI aimed with another lariat, but Inoue showed brilliant technique by telegraphing the blow with a DOUBLE-LEG TAKEDOWN of all moves, before mounting NAKAI! Despite repeated warnings from Edd Sasaki, Inoue proceeded to PUMMEL NAKAI WITH CLOSED-FISTED PUNCHES, garnering a HUGE ovation of boos! Inoue finally got up after the DQ count of four, only to STOMP NAKAI IN THE FACE, garnering an even LOUDER round of boos! Sasaki finally interjected himself by PUSHING Inoue into the corner and harshly reprimanding him by threatening a disqualification! Inoue of course smiled in amusement while nodding mockingly. Sasaki gave NAKAI enough time to get to his feet before Inoue went back to work, throwing more palm strikes and kicks. NAKAI would try to counter with slaps of his own, only for Inoue to move his head every time to dodge, before taking NAKAI off his feet with a skillful judo throw. Inoue would continue to grind NAKAI with various holds, including a chin lock. NAKAI eventually managed to fight his way back to his feet, as Inoue continued to wrench away. NAKAI finally grabbed hold of Inoue's waist, before dumping him on the back of his head with another Backdrop, but Inoue continued to hold on! Once more, NAKAI fought his way back to his feet with Inoue hanging on... But rather than try for another Backdrop, NAKAI inched himself towards the ropes, before ducking down, sending BOTH he AND Inoue FALLING THROUGH THE ROPES ONTO THE FLOOR! NAKAI succeeded in breaking free, but quickly found himself on the receiving end of a flurry of stomps from Inoue... Preaching his philosophy of "Pure Fighting Grace," Inoue attempted to throw NAKAI back in, but NAKAI put up some resistance with some elbows. Inoue fired back with a quick one-two series of body kicks before trying again, but to no luck. Finally, out of pure frustration, Inoue grabbed NAKAI by the back of his head, and proceeded to lead him towards the steel ring post... However, at the last second, NAKAI COUNTERED, and sent Inoue SMASHING HEAD FIRST INTO THE UNFORGIVING STEEL RING POST! NAKAI slowly crawled into the ring to recover, as Inoue seemed jarred on the floor... Moments later, Inoue slowly crawled back to his feet as the ringside fans SHRIEKED with concern, as BLOOD began to flow from Inoue's forehead! Inoue however showed no reaction to the blood, and simply shrugged off the blow before returning to the ring... However, it was clear Inoue wasn't the same. NAKAI took advantage of the injury by pummeling Inoue with more elbows in the corner, before connecting with a German Suplex hold for a two count! Inoue would quickly comeback however, after smashing into NAKAI's face with a rapid series of right-left forearms, culminating with an Exploder! Inoue's red-hot spirit soon matched the crimson shade of his face as he fired off more vicious kicks, setting NAKAI up for a VICIOUS Ipponoseoi, causing NAKAI to SPIKE himself on the top of his head! Rather than go for the pin, Inoue sat NAKAI up, and locked in a Chickenwing Facelock! NAKAI's SCREAMS of agonizing pain somehow managed to echo over the sound of the rabid fans. With unanimous chants of "NA-KA-I!", the F-MAX Champion was able to fight his way to the ropes for the break... NAKAI soon fought his way back to his feet, but once again found his way into Inoue's vicious sleeper hold! NAKAI did his best to fight, as Inoue's blood continued to flow down his face, and down the shoulders of NAKAI! NAKAI finally managed to lift Inoue onto his shoulders, before RUSHING into the corner, DRIVING INOUE HEAD FIRST INTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! The blow finally staggered Inoue, who fell victim to a BRUTAL Half-Nelson Suplex from NAKAI! Inoue again scrambled to his feet in panic, ONLY TO BE DECAPITATED WITH A VICIOUS LARIAT! NAKAI collapsed onto and hooked the leg for the pin, as fans anticipated the end! However, the building came UNGLUED as the challenger kicked out at 2.5! Inoue once again pulled himself up to his feet franticly, while at the same time urging NAKAI to "COME ON!" NAKAI once more engaged with Inoue in a flurry of blows. Only this time, NAKAI SOUNDLY had the advantage! Inoue's pacing slowly stalled, causing him to absorb a VICIOUS flurry of slaps, causing Inoue to COLLAPSE IN A HEAP IN THE CORNER!!! The fans ROARED, sensing the match was over, as Edd Sasaki LEAPED in and pulled NAKAI off... However it was not the case, as Sasaki only asked Inoue if he could physically continue. Inoue, with blood STILL streaming down his face shouted, "I'M NOT DEAD YET, YOU BASTARD!" as he SHOVED Sasaki back! He pulled himself back up, before DASHING at NAKAI, who PERFECTLY TELEGRAPHED HIS LUNGE WITH A STRAIGHT CLOSED-FISTED PUNCH TO THE JAW! The fans ERUPTED as Inoue stopped DEAD in his tracks, before COLLAPSING TO THE MAT! While possibly agreeing with NAKAI's turn-about style, Sasaki still admonished NAKAI for the illegal shot, and "warned him." But still, NAKAI rolled Inoue's body over before going for the pin... ONLY FOR INOUE TO KICK OUT AT 2.999!!! Rather than question the call, NAKAI pulled Inoue up before hoisting him onto his shoulders for possibly the Devil Eruption or MAX BULLET... However, before he could follow through, Inoue rose from the dead once more, locking in ANOTHER SLEEPER HOLD! But with Inoue's grip now weakened, NAKAI managed to lift Inoue up AGAIN, before FLATTENING HIM WITH THE DEVIL ERUPTION!! Rather than going for the pin, NAKAI pulled out his very first trademark move in wrestling, as he hooked Inoue's arm around his throat, and locked in the KENDO CLUTCH!!! The fans ERUPTED with cheers once more, as screams of AGONY poured from Inoue's blood filled mouth! However, Inoue REFUSED to submit, and desperately reached for the ropes... But just as it seemed he would be able to grab it, NAKAI LOCKED INOUE'S OTHER ARM IN PLACE, LEAVING HIM WITH NOTHING TO GRAB THE ROPES WITH! The decibel level of the crowd increased with every passing second, sensing the end was coming... Suddenly, ringside doctor Yoshiyuki Hattori, who at this point is sitting MERE FEET from Inoue began hastily examining the cut... Hattori began shouting something inaudible to referee Sasaki... Seconds later, THE GONG SOUNDS, ENDING THE MATCH!
The fans ERUPTED with cheers, believing that Inoue had SUBMITTED... However, that was NOT the case, as Referee Edd Sasaki announced the decision as a "Doctor Stoppage!" Hattori was given the microphone to clearly explain the situation. He cited the stoppage due to concern over the amount of blood loss Inoue had endured, also noting that Inoue nearly passed out at one point in the match... Inoue was NOT happy hearing this, and attempted to ATTACK THE DOCTOR, only to be restrained by various officials, including Referee Edd Sasaki, who was COLDCOCKED IN THE FACE BY INOUE! Inoue stumbled out of the ring a bloody mess, insisting that he had NOT been beaten, and called the result "ROTTEN." After Inoue returned to the back, NAKAI was awarded back his F-MAX Heavyweight title to the unanimous cheers of the crowd... During the post-match interview, NAKAI said that while he understands the concern of the doctor, he would probably agree with Inoue... Tonight however, he would accept the win until the situation could be properly evaluated...
The rest of the FURY roster (minus UPRISER'Z of course) joined NAKAI in the ring for the traditional year-end celebration... NAKAI noted that this had been the greatest year of his life, as he was able to "come home" and become F-MAX Heavyweight Champion, along with defeating a "legend." NAKAI finally closed the show with the traditional "3! 2! 1! FURY!" call.
