- Masato Osagawa and the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Jet Jaguar had their chance to pay back ATSUKA and YAKUTA for their treacherous acts stemming from yesterday in Oita. ATSUKA and YAKUTA appeared for the first time as official UPRISER'Z members, with both wearing new attire. YAKUTA remained mostly the same, aside from having the UPRIZER'Z logo and colors designed onto his trunks. ATSUKA however had taken a drastic change in apparel, with his feathered, along with wearing black eye makeup. Even more bizarre was the fact that YAKUTA was leading ATSUKA to the ring using a chain and dog collar... All four men went at it as soon as the gong sounded, leading to a wild fight all over ringside. As the minutes went by, YAKUTA and ATSUKA became more and more unruly, until both men finally began to attack Osagawa and Jaguar with chairs, forcing referee Akinori Fuwa to throw the match out... ATSUKA finally laid Jaguar out with a modified cross-armed piledriver, while YAKUTA choked Osagawa into unconsciousness with a rope-assisted STF... After the match, YAKUTA said that for the first time since coming to FURY, he is finally "having fun," and said he had long since grown tired of playing a "nice guy." ATSUKA's mic work came off even more bizarre, as he spoke with a somber, deliberate tone. He simply said he was truly expressing himself, and said that he would make Jet Jaguar's title reign an abruptly short one...
- In the semi final, UPRISER'Z were victorious over the REAL-ONE. As always, it was a bitter fight between the two warring factions, with most of the match playing out between TAKU and Naoki Fukuda, showing that their feud is far from over. In the end, Daisuke Iwata would once again use his low blow --> backslide combination to pin Go Taniguchi. After the match, both sides continued to brawl violently, until finally being broken up by officials.
- In front of a capacity crowd in Fukuoka's Hakata Star Lane, Akira Takayoshi attempted to break the record he set himself, by becoming the first wrestler in Pro-Wrestling FURY history to capture the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight title a fourth time. Given that it was Akira's home turf, it was no surprise when the current champion, Otsuo Kayusa entered amidst a unanimous chorus of boos. It was the first time both men had faced off in a singles match since their #1 contenders match in March, where Takayoshi rolled Kayusa up for the pin. Tonight, Kayusa would aim for revenge in a match that did not fail to live up to its heavy expectations. Kayusa seemed to relish the roll of villain that the Fukuoka fans casted upon him, as he used just about every means possible to attack the challenger. Just as he had against Takayoshi's partner Naoyuki Watanabe in July, Kayusa heavily focused on Akira's leg to soften it up for the ankle hold. He eventually tried to secure the hold, but the challenger was still able to match Kayusa hold-for-hold. With one bad leg, Akira showed the full strength of a "FURY elite," and scored several near falls over the champion. However, even after using a Tiger Suplex hold, a brainbuster, and a lariat, Akira still could not keep the spirited champion down. Times got desperate for the hometown challenger, who tried to win his fourth F-MAX Unified Heavyweight title after going for an avalanche Brainbuster. Kayusa however fought with every ounce of strength he had left, and managed to knock Takayoshi off with a HARD headbutt to the skull! With the challenger prone, Kayusa followed up by a CRUSHING knee drop across Takayoshi's chest, giving him a near fall! It was Kayusa's turn to finish the challenger, who tried to set up the Olympic ASP. At the last second however, Akira escaped Kayusa's clutches, who dumped the champion on the back of his head with a release Tiger Suplex! As Kayusa stumbled to his feet, Akira came off the ropes, before sending Kayusa back to the mat with a BRUTAL lariat! The Fukuoka fans roared, sensing a new champion, only to be disappointed when Otsuo Kayusa kicked out at 2.9! The crowd reached a feverish pitch moments after, as Akira sized Kayusa up for a final lariat. However, at the last second, Kayusa managed to duck, allowing him to fold Takayoshi in half with a brutal German Suplex hold for a near fall! With both men wounded, champion and challenger traded HARD elbows back and fourth, with the challenger getting the better of the exchange. However, even after BLASTING Kayusa in the back of the head with an Enzuigiri, it wouldn't be enough to seize the crown. Akira finally hoisted Kayusa back onto the turnbuckle, aiming to finish the champion once and for all with the avalanche Brainbuster! Kayusa tried to fight with everything he had left, forcing Akira to pummel him with even more elbows to the head. Akira finally hoisted Kayusa up vertically, only for the champion to kick his feet at the last second, allowing Kayusa to unleash a BRUTAL flurry of right-left elbows! With every blow, Akira appeared to lose more and more unconsciousness, before finally going limp on the top turnbuckle! The champion lifted Akira's prone body up across his shoulders. After securing Akira's wrist, Kayusa jumped from the top, SPIKING AKIRA WITH AN AVALANCHE OLYMPIC ASP! Kayusa collapsed onto Akira's body as Edd Sasaki counted, rendering the three count!
The Fukuoka fans had a conflicted response, as they applauded the efforts of the victorious champion, while calling out the name of Akira Takayoshi in concern... All 3,000 fans in the building roared in chants of "A-KI-RA" as Naoyuki Watanabe and Etsuya Kawachi tended to the fallen challenger... Akira finally came to, and bowed apologetically before all four sides of the ring. Kayusa approached Akira in the center of the ring, prompting the crowd to quiet down... Akira finally broke the silence, by offering his hand in congratulations. The champion nodded, and accepted the gesture. After the match, Kayusa praised the Burning Spirit of Akira, calling him the strongest singles opponent he's ever had to face. He said that for over three years, Akira carried the banner of FURY on his shoulders, but said that now it was his turn to carry the burden. He said that he wanted to defend his title as soon as possible, and issued an open challenge to any wrestler in FURY! This suddenly brought out Masafuji Yoshida, who took Kayusa up on his offer. However, before Kayusa could respond, both would be interrupted by UPRISER'Z member Daisuke Iwata! Iwata and Yoshida both argued over who should face Kayusa for the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight title. A #1 contenders bout was finally decided upon for 9/09 in Osaka.
