- Pro-Wrestling FURY officially revealed the first match for its 5/31 mega show, “DREAM + INFINITE 5.”
As per tradition, Pro-Wrestling FURY will pay tribute to one of the most influential organizations in the history of Japanese Pro-Wrestling, Burning Spirit Pro-Wrestling. This year, FURY will present a special Native/Foreigner tag match pitting unlikely allies together. On the first side will be arguably Burning Spirit Pro-Wrestling's #1 native star, “Mr. 300%” Kazuma Fujita, making his Japanese return! His partner is one of Fujita's fiercest rivals, in JAMES GOODWIN! Together, the two will face one of Burning Spirit Pro-Wrestling's most beloved foreign wrestlers, Big Poppa Dan! The pairings are odd, given that for years, Fujita and “BPD” were one of BSPW's top tag teams... Dan's partner was not revealed, however. Dan's partner is expected to be announced on FURY's 5/15 Osaka rally.
The company posted new lineups for the remainder of the tour 5/02 and onward. In Kyoto, Otsuo Kayusa and his mystery partner will face “WILD STYLE,” RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji to determine the #1 contenders to the F-MAX Tag Team titles. A week later, the second half of the “ROAD TO DREAM + INFINITE” begins in Fukuoka. In the main event, NEW FORCE will battle REAL-ONE in the main event to determine the marquee match for the 5/31 super show. If NEW FORCE is victorious, the headline bout for 5/31 will see Akira Takayoshi challenge Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's Nobuyori Shimizu for the C-1 Heavyweight title. However, if REAL-ONE wins, Naoki Fukuda's match against CRIMSON's Akuma Toyota for the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight title will headline. The loser of the match will have to settle with their match being second from the top.
The final leg of the tour sees stops in IMP Hall and Korakuen Hall. The only match confirmed thus far for 5/15 will see Chikao Kessin and Norihiro Akashi of Ooinaru Waza, along with Kotaro Ota facing RAGNARÖK's Tetsuhisa NAKAI, ATSUKA and Yoshihiro Shimoda. Korakuen on the other hand will see Kotaro Ota face off against ATSUKA in a singles match, stemming from 4/24.
The rest of the cards are expected to be announced after 5/02.
