[Results] 5/02/2010 @ KBS Hall

- Tonight in Kyoto, the “ROAD TO DREAM + INFINITE” continued. After tonight, the 5/31 mega show would begin to take shape... In the second bout, the First Generation Jr. Army defeated the New Generation Army in a thrilling junior heavyweight sprint. The end saw Kyoto Okazaki and Fumihiko Shirai exchanging various cradles, ending with Okazaki connecting with the Otokogoroshi for the three count...

After the match, Yoshihiro Shimoda and ATSUKA revealed that a month ago, they went to President Hayakawa with an idea that would bring FURY's Jr. Heavyweight division to the next level. Thus, the pair announced the creation of the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Tag titles! ATSUKA revealed that a one-night tournament between four teams would be held on 5/31, with the winner being recognized as the first champions. Naturally, ATSUKA and Shimoda announced their participation. Kotaro Ota and Fumihiko Shirai both threw their name in as well. This brought out NEW FORCE's Etsuya Kawachi and Hidaka Kamon, who said they were the only team that could win. The fourth team came as something of a surprise, as former Nansei tag team, “HOT LIMIT,” Keisuke Rongai and Wataru Yamada invaded KBS Hall! Rongai said that Kyoto was their territory, and thus would accept any challenge laid out.

The drama didn't end there. As the wrestlers began to disperse, Nobusan ambushed the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion, Nobusan, re-opening the wound he suffered the night before in Fukui. This time however, Jaguar would get the better of the exchange, landing a perfect savate kick, sending Nobusan flying over the ropes! As members of RAGNARÖK tried to drag Nobusan off the apron, Jaguar got a handful of Nobusan's mask, eventually tearing off a souvenir! As Nobusan was carried away, Jaguar took the house mic and said that he had grown sick and tired of Nobusan. He mentioned Nobusan's comment from Korakuen, where he said as long as Nobusan was in FURY, he would never leave Jaguar alone. Thus, Jaguar said that he has to rid the world of Nobusan once and for all. And the only way to do that is to take Nobusan's mask! Jaguar finally laid it out, challenging Nobusan to a MASCARA CONTRA MASCARA match! Nobusan immediately smiled, showing his approval...

- In the fourth match, RAGNARÖK scored the victory over Ooinaru Waza, along with NAKAI's former protege, Ryuugo Nagashima. Nagashima had reservations facing NAKAI, who laughed maniacally as he laid heavy chops into Nagashima. Nagashima would eventually find the courage to fight back after hitting NAKAI with a Dragon Suplex hold. In the end however, NAKAI countered Nagashima's lariat with an uranage, setting up the Koukai Vice for the submission! After the match, Akashi tried to attack NAKAI, only to be restrained. Akashi called NAKAI a bully for how he treated Nagashima, and essentially told him to pick on somebody his own size. NAKAI smirked, before taking his leave...

- The semi final saw REAL-ONE beat NEW FORCE in a preliminary bout before their 5/08 match to determine the 5/31 main event. The end came as Go Taniguchi flattened Kazuki Sendo with the Tama Tama Drop. After the match, Naoki and Akira both argued why they should be in the main event of 5/31. They were eventually cut off by BOTH Akuma Toyota AND C-1 Heavyweight Champion, Nobuyori Shimizu! All four sides bantered back and forth. Finally however, a series of preliminary were agreed upon for 5/15 and 5/16.

- The main event would determine the #1 contenders to TAKU and Go Taniguchi's F-MAX Tag Team titles, as Otsuo Kayusa and a mystery partner faced off against 2010 Sakura Tag Festival finalists RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji. Kayusa finally revealed his partner to be DEFIANCE Wrestling and Superstar Pro veteran DUSTY GRIFFITH. The Kyoto fans welcomed Griffith to FURY warmly as he appeared wearing a “Ooinaru Waza” T-shirt... WILD STYLE ambushed the two before the match, getting an early jump on things. Kayusa and Griffith eventually came back, connecting with stereo lariats in opposite corners. Both sides traded control through out the match. As the match approached 20:00, it came down to Dusty and Tsuji. Both traded brutal forearms back and forth. Dusty tried to finish with a lariat, only for Tsuji to counter, and connect with the Guts Coaster! Just as Tsuji was about to go for the cover, Pro-Wrestling DYNAMITE's GORO IIJIMA and NIWATORI OGAWA hit the ring! While Ogawa distracted the referee, Iijima caught Tsuji with the Rydeen Bomb! Griffith recovered first, covering Tsuji. Tsuji however was able to kick out at 2.9! There wasn't much left for Dusty, who finished Tsuji with a BRUTAL snap Powerbomb, giving he and Kayusa the victory!

Iijima and Ogawa retreated immediately, relishing RYUJI and Tsuji's humiliation from afar... After recovering, Tsuji and RYUJI both went after the invaders, chasing them to the back... In the ring, Kayusa officially welcomed Dusty Griffith back to Japan. Griffith amused fans by saying “Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!” The F-MAX Tag Team Champions appeared to confront their challengers. Both sides agreed that 5/31 would be the perfect stage for their match.
