- Tonight, FURY celebrated its sixth anniversary, from the sub-arena of its holy ground, the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium. The loyal fans of FURY crowded the sub-arena, creating an intimate and passionate atmosphere. President Hiroshi Nishida greeted the fans at the start of the show, and said tonight would mark officially begin his first year as President of Pro-Wrestling FURY. He said that the company has aggressively pushed forward in the last sixth years, and promised even more progress will be made in the coming years. Nishida outlined plans for 2009, which Nishida promised would be the company's most ambitious year yet, which includes FURY's advancement upon the Osaka Kyocera Dome on 5/31. But before, FURY will boldly trek towards holding the first Pro-Wrestling FURY show on American soil, as FURY will travel to Los Angeles, California on 3/07, and Astoria, Washington on 3/10. As always, he thanked the fans for their support, and promised a great show.
- The show quickly kicked off with the start of the 6th ANNIVERSARY CUP, with F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion Tetsuhisa NAKAI leading the inexperienced team of Kazuki Sendo and Kinniku Kamen Nisei against Hiroaki Nakata, Yoshihiro Shimoda, and Jet Jaguar. NAKAI did his best to coach Sendo and Nisei, with the two making drastic improvements in the ring... However, Nisei, as always, was still susceptible to comedy, which nearly allowed Jaguar to surprise him with a cradle. The FURY fans were ecstatic later on as Nakata and NAKAI continued their eternal rivalry. But in the end, Yoshihiro Shimoda would catch the rookie, Kazuki Sendo in the Sapporo Lancer. Despite the crowd rallying behind him, Sendo was forced to submit, eliminating Sendo, NAKAI and Nisei from the tournament... NAKAI and Nakata shook hands afterwards in a sign of respect, with the F-MAX Champion wishing his former ORIGIN teammate luck in the rest of the tournament.
- NEW FORCE clashed with CHAOTICS in the next first round match. CHAOTICS looked good early on, using trickery and teamwork to subdue and isolate Etsuya Kawachi. But eventually, the crafty sensei was able to break free of CHAOTICS' clutches, allowing him to make the tag out to FURY Ace, Akira Takayoshi! Takayoshi and ATSUKA had some thrilling exchanges in particular, with ATSUKA nearly stealing a win over Akira with a Japanese Leg Roll Clutch. However, Etsuya Kawachi eventually countered a swan dive attack from his former Jet Generation kouhai Hidaka Kamon, which led to Kawachi connecting with the brutal "go 2 school," KO'ing Shirai long enough for the three count!
- The tournament continued with the third first round match, as The "Yoshida Sumo Gym" battled the nefarious UPRISER'Z trio of TAKU, Mastodon Fukuda, and Daisuke Iwata. UPRISER'Z tried to ambush the trio before the bell, but they were quickly thwarted by the three. Both continues continued to brawl on the outside, with UPRISER'Z eventually isolating the rookie, Tetsujin. The three brutalized Tetsujin for the next few minutes, with them taking every opportunity to bend and outright break the rules. However, Tetsujin showed great heart in fighting back, and was eventually able to fight back after catching Fukuda with an abisegiri, allowing him to make the hot tag to Chikao Kessin. Both Kessin and Yoshida took charge, and combined their brute strength to take the fight to the F-MAX Tag Team Champions. In the end however, UPRISER'Z villainous ways would win out. During an all out brawl between both teams, Daisuke Iwata lodged a steel chair into the throat of Tetsujin behind the referee's back, which allowed him to sink in the Cobra Claw for the three count, securing UPRISER'Z advancement to the semi finals.
- Next was the final first round match, as STRONGERS battled the "TEAM GOLDEN + GO!" of "Mr. 300%" Kazuma Fujita, "Tokyo Ace" Mitsuharu Nogami, and Go Taniguchi. The Osaka fans were heavily into the match, cheering wildly for "TEAM GOLDEN," Kazuma Fujita and Mitsuharu Nogami. The early going saw STRONG RIDERS asserting themselves to gain control, working over the "Tokyo Ace" himself, Nogami. All three STRONG RIDERS had an effective strategy, incorporating quick tags and isolating Nogami. But eventually, Nogami was able to fight back after catching Kenichiro Hujikawa with a thrust kick, setting up the tag to Kazuma Fujita! He and Otsuo Kayusa locked horns, trading HARD elbows. Fujita would win out in the exchange after driving Kayusa to the mat with a Backdrop. The momentum of the bout shifted completely now, with the three isolating Otsuo Kayusa in their corner. However, Kayusa was able to escape after catching Go Taniguchi with a quick German Suplex. Kayusa inflicted even further damage with another German Suplex for a near fall. With Fujita and Nogami disposed of, Kayusa finished Taniguchi with the Olympic-ASP, allowing him to score the pinfall!
- We came to the first of two title matches of the night, as Kotaro Ota made his V2 defense of his F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight title against the violent and sadistic Shin Kaiju. As soon as the gong sounded, Kaiju came in aggressive, with Ota doing his best to evade, before finally using his speed to catch Kaiju with a savate kick in the corner, which set up the R.E.M. As Kaiju stumbled to his feet, Ota immediately caught him with a thrust kick to set up the Violent Spark... But before he could execute, Kaiju pushed Ota into the turnbuckles chest first, before following up with a BRUTAL Enzuilariat to the back of Ota's head! Kaiju followed up with a SICKENING release German Suplex, which sent the F-MAX Champion landing on the back of his neck! Ota was able to bounce back a few moments later after ducking Kaiju's vicious lariat. The champion unleashed a flurry of kicks, before connecting with a jumping savate this time. With Kaiju prone again, Ota grabbed hold, before going for the MICHELADA! However, Kaiju was able to stabilize himself, and demonstrated his incredible strength by dragging Ota and himself towards the corner, and CLIMBING UP THE TURNBUCKLES. With another burst of power, Kaiju HOISTED OTA INTO THE AIR... BEFORE LEAPING OFF! But immediately, Ota was able to let go of the hold, and land on his feet... ONLY TO BE MET WITH A STRONG-ARM KAIJU LARIAT! Kaiju followed with the cover, only for Ota to kick out at 2.5... Ota was able to recover, and managed to fight back with kicks and punches. Ota was able to duck another wild lariat from Kaiju, before answering with a second thrust kick! This time, Ota was able to follow through, and connected with the Violent Spark! However, the defiant Kaiju showed his strength by powering out of the pin attempt at ONE! As Kaiju crawled to his feet, Ota unleashed a flurry of blows, climaxing with another jumping savate to Kaiju's jaw! Ota called for the finish, and hoisted Kaiju up before following up... The fans slowly started to realize just what Ota was doing so early in the match, as he was setting up the NUEVO SPARK! However, just as Ota was about to carry out his plan, Kaiju struggled with back elbows, before finally breaking Ota's grasp! When Ota hunched over, the powerful Kaiju locked his arms around Ota's waist, before DEAD-LIFTING OTA UP, AND LEAPING OFF THE TOP TURNBUCKLE WITH AN AVALANCHE POWERBOMB! Kaiju pinned Ota's ankles against his shoulders as the referee made the count, ONLY FOR OTA TO KICK OUT AT 2.9! The much fresher Kaiju inflicted further damage after pulling Ota to his feet, by giving him a SICKENING Wild Bomb, with Ota's head SNAPPING against the mat! Kaiju finally climbed to the top, before leaping off... Ota tried to use every last ounce of strength to move as he slowly began to sit up, only to be SQUASHED by Kaiju's Diving Body press! Kaiju hooked the leg as the referee counted the three, rendering Shin Kaiju as the new F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion!
- With history already being made, the 6th ANNIVERSARY CUP resumed with the first semi final match, as NEW FORCE faced members of mushozoku. Boths teams came in with strong technical credentials, but it was the teamwork of Nakata, Shimoda and Jaguar that gave them control of the early going. They were quick to isolate Kawachi from Takayoshi and Watanabe, and took every liberty to keep him from tagging out, with Nakata going as far as to often cheap shot both of Kawachi's partners. But eventually, Kawachi was able to counter Jaguar's offense with a flying headscissors, setting up the hot tag to Akira Takayoshi. Nakata and the FURY Ace had some thrilling exchanges, showing that there was still hostile feelings between the former friends. The two exchanged close cradle attempts towards the end, before reaching a stalemate. Watanabe and Jet Jaguar had a great exchange of blows, with the much smaller Jaguar holding his own. However, once Jaguar broke away from the strikes, Watanabe was able to counter with a jumping knee off the ropes, setting up a beautiful Dragon Suplex hold for a near fall. Watanabe quickly broke Jaguar down from there, before finally catching him with a blunt shining kenka kick, putting him down long enough for the three count! In the end, NEW FORCE pulled out a hard fought win to advance to the finals!
- With NEW FORCE in the finals, it was now time to determine who they would face, as STRONG RIDERS collided with UPRISER'Z in semi final #2. As always to be expected with an UPRISER'Z match, both teams frantically brawled at the start, with UPRISER'Z dragging the three STRONG RIDERS across all four sides of the sub-arena floor. However, Kayusa, Yosuken and Hujikawa refused to be bullied around, and fought back with a rough-neck style of their own, before ultimately fighting UPRISER'Z back to the ring. Momentum continued to shift between both teams. UPRISER'Z finally seized control with their lack of regard to the rule book. Both RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji made their presences felt often during the match, and kept the referee from seeing tags. Despite some small comebacks from STRONG RIDERS, UPRISER'Z eventually prevailed, as the F-MAX Tag Team Champions sunk Kyoshima Yosuken with their golden combo of TAKU's Kinniku Buster, followed by Mastodon Fukuda's Mastodon Splash, leading to their victory! With the finals now set, NEW FORCE will face UPRISER'Z for the tournament crown!
- Intermission finally came, as President Hiroshi Nishida appeared in the ring once more to reveal the thirty-two participants that will take part in November's F-MAX Summit tournament. A couple of minutes passed as Mr. Nishida read off nearly everyone on the FURY roster, minus Norihiro Akashi, who is currently traveling the globe on his learning excursion. With only three names remaining, Mr. Nishida was pleased to announce the participation of WCC wrestler and NEW FORCE member C. Bones. However, to oppose this, UPRISER'Z have entered their very own foreign representative, as Mr. Nishida announced the participation of former three-time WWA World Heavyweight Champion, ERIC DANE. However, both names paled in comparison as President Nishida announced the stunning participation of..."THE TERRORIST," RYO INOUE. Reaction to Inoue's name varied from boos to cheers to stunned silence. The reaction shifted to even more boos as Inoue himself appeared, as he took a seat at ringside to witness the final two matches...
- Next, we had the night's second title match, as NEW FORCE's C. Bones defended his WCC sanctioned International Heavyweight Crown title against UPRISER'Z's "Outlaw" Kyoto Okazaki. Fan reaction was heavily divided in the match, with some very vocal Kansai fans rallying behind the villainous challenger. Okazaki of course showed his gratitude by shooting off both of his middle fingers... On paper, the odds looked to be stacked against Okazaki, who was 12cm shorter than the champion. But what he lacked in height, he made up more in friends, as RYUJI, Manabe Tsuji, and new F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Shin Kaiju backed accompanied him to the ring. The early going saw the champion trying to establish himself with kicks and simple submission holds. The rebellious Okazaki demonstrated rarely seen technical skills as well by countering almost everything Bones threw his way. Bones eventually turned up the heat with even harder kicks. Okazaki took exception, leading to the two exchanging a feverish flurry of HARD punches and kicks! However, Okazaki finally went with what he knew after ducking a high kick, as he dropped down and blasted the champion with a blatant groin punch... Okazaki tried to capitalize with a flash la magistral, only for the champion to kick out quickly after two! Bones quickly came back however, after narrowly avoiding Okazaki's kenka kick, before coming off the ropes and firing with a HARD lariat, sending Okazaki doing a COMPLETE 360! Later on, Bones caught Okazaki with a kenka kick of his own. The challenger took exception to this, which lead to both men trading HARD kenka kicks to the face, with both men refusing to go down! Ultimately, it would be Okazaki who would broke his own, as he simply side-stepped Bones to avoid his kenka kick, and followed by simply kicking Bones' leg out from under him... Tempers flared even higher later, after the match spilled to the outside. Okazaki took every chance to break the rules, and a couple of steel chairs as well, as he smashed them repeatedly across Bones' back. Even after Okazaki returned to the ring, the assault on Bones continued as RYUJI and Tsuji put the boots to him outside... Okazaki later connected with the Colt Python to set up the Moonsault press. However, Bones was able to get to his feet and crotch Okazaki, leading to him countering with a Running Powerbomb! With his second wind, Bones scored with a great sting of offense, climaxing with a flying jujigatame! Okazaki was quick to lock his hands from preventing the full extension. The two frantically struggled for control of the hold, with Bones slowly breaking Okazaki's grip... But before he could, UPRISER'Z were again intervene, as RYUJI was able to rake Bones' eyes behind referee Edd Sasaki's back... Okazaki then turned up the pace, and eventually caught Bones in the face with the Perfect Dark for what would be the first near fall of the match... Okazaki then connected with a backbreaker, which led to another Moonsault press attempt, ONLY CONNECTING THIS TIME! The fans roared as Okazaki went for the pin, ONLY FOR BONES TO KICK OUT AT 2.5! Okazaki then called for the end, and pulled Bones to his feet, before setting him up for the Otokogoroshi! However, Bones still had some fight left in him, as he struggled to break out of the deadly move. Okazaki finally gave up, and softened Bones up with a knee, before whipping him into the opposite corner, just as RYUJI hopped on the apron to distract the referee... This suddenly allowed not just Okazaki, but Manabe Tsuji AND Shin Kaiju to climb in and CRUSH the champion in the corner with consecutive running attacks! And to make matters even worse, the three set up to SUPERBOMB the IHC Champion! However, before Kaiju could deliver the death knell, Bones was finally aided by his fellow NEW FORCE members, as AKIRA TAKAYOSHI, NAOYUKU WATANABE, AND ETSUYA KAWACHI CHARGED INTO THE RING! Amidst all of the confusion, Bones was able to break free of Kaiju's grip, and knocked Kaiju clean off with a vicious high kick! With the sides evened up, this leveled the playing field for Bones, who fought with no vigor. After a flurry of more blows, Bones tried to spike Okazaki with a brainbuster... However, the challenger escaped, and tried countering with the Super Redhawk. Bones however held onto the ropes, causing Okazaki to land flat on his back! As Okazaki climbed to his feet, Bones unleashed a flurry of muay thai knees in the corner, with Okazaki finally getting caught with a VICIOUS Shining Wizard-like knee! Bones finally scooped Okazaki up, before SPIKING HIM HEAD FIRST WITH A VICIOUS BRAINBUSTER! Bones hooked the leg, as referee Edd Sasaki counted the three!
The fans roared unanimously for Bones, who seemed to earn the respect of the FURY fans tonight. He was immediately met by his fellow NEW FORCE members, who themselves were prepared for their upcoming tournament finale...
- We finally came to the finals of the FURY 6th ANNIVERSARY CUP, as NEW FORCE eagerly awaited their opponents, UPRISER'Z. The match actually differed from every other UPRISER'Z match tonight, as the two teams started things off slow. All six men were given chances to shine during the early going, with Watanabe and Iwata in particular having some thrilling technical exchanges. However, UPRISER'Z did eventually provoke an all-out brawl with NEW FORCE. Later on, they would score near falls over Kawachi, after used a low-blow assisted backslide. NEW FORCE eventually came back, with Naoyuki Watanabe and Akira Takayoshi proving to be a formidable duo against the F-MAX Tag Team Champions, TAKU and Mastodon Fukuda. The pace quickened feverishly as the match went on, with all six wrestlers scoring a near fall or two by match's end. The match would eventually come down to former friends, now rivals, Akira Takayoshi and TAKU, who lit each other up with HARD knife-edge chops. TAKU eventually seized control, and gored Takayoshi into the mat with a Jackhammer. However, Akira was quick to counter after telegraphing TAKU's Chojin Bomber with a modified crucifix cradle to nearly steal the match! TAKU finally did connect with the Chojin Bomber, but it would only keep the FURY Ace down for a 2.5 count... With their partners worn out and beaten, the two only had themselves to rely on. Akira was able to break free of TAKU's Hinotama Bomb attempt, allowing him to catch TAKU with an Enzuigiri. TAKU was stunned long enough for Akira to follow up with a HARD lariat. However, that wouldn't be enough to keep TAKU down. In the end, Akira would unleash a flurry of THREE CONSECUTIVE Enzuigiri's to the back of TAKU's skull, setting up a VICIOUS High Angle Tiger Suplex hold, driving TAKU STRAIGHT ONTO THE BACK OF HIS NECK! Referee Akinori Fuwa made the count, with Mastodon Fukuda making the last-second dive... ONLY TO COME UP SHORT! The three count was rendered, as NEW FORCE win the 6th ANNIVERSARY CUP!
The fans met the result with unanimous cheers, as the three NEW FORCE members proudly held up their tournament trophies and purse check... Afterwards, all of the non-UPRISER'Z wrestlers returned to the ring, as everyone celebrated the 6th Birthday of Pro-Wrestling FURY by singing, what else? the "Happy Birthday" song... Afterwards, Akira Takayoshi spoke, thanking the fans for their support. He said that they were only as strong as their fans, and said their fans were the strongest in the world... Kazuma Fujita then spoke to close the show. Fujita said that six years ago, he had no idea what his vision would grow to become, and said he was extremely proud of everyone involved with Pro-Wrestling FURY. He said that after the death of Burning Spirit Pro-Wrestling, he had been on a seemingly never-ending quest to forge the "best type pro-wrestling." In the end he said, it was a useless expedition, because Pro-Wrestling FURY was the "best type pro-wrestling" he was looking for...
The show was set to end on this cheesy note, until it was interrupted by RYO INOUE, who jumped from his seat, hopped the railing, and climbed into the ring! Inoue grabbed a microphone, and began RANTING passionately towards Fujita and the FURY wrestlers. Inoue said that Fujita's words were a joke, saying that "You say FURY is the best type pro-wrestling, but you don't even know the true meaning of 'fury!' Fujita! I'll show you what real 'fury' is!" Before Inoue could continue, he was confronted by the hot-blooded F-MAX Heavyweight Champion himself, TETSUHISA NAKAI! NAKAI chastised Inoue for his lack of respect, en which Inoue replied with, "...Who are you?" This enraged NAKAI, who attempted to go after Inoue, only to be restrained... Inoue said that he only entered the F-MAX Summit tournament to get at Fujita, and promised to "expose Fujita as a coward once and for all!" He DEMANDED to face Fujita immediately in the tournament, and said he wouldn't accept any other opponent. Inoue slammed down the microphone before promptly exiting...
