- FURY returned to Kyoto for the third night of the J1-MAX League tournament. Yoshihiro Shimoda met RYUJI in the first tournament match of the night. RYUJI was up to his usual tricks, as he tried to get Shimoda to chase him outside of the ring. Shimoda however realized RYUJI's plan, and simply rolled into the ring to avoid the double ring out. RYUJI reluctantly came back in, only to be on the receiving end of a barrage of kicks from Shimoda. A couple of minutes later, RYUJI once again goaded Shimoda into a fight on the outside. As the referee reached the count of twelve, RYUJI tried to hold Shimoda down for the double ring out. Shimoda however was able to shrug RYUJI off, before send him stumbling back with a HARD kick to the body... However, as RYUJI stumbled backwards, a cunning grin appeared on his face, as he waved goodbye to Shimoda before walking towards the back... It was only then that Shimoda realized that his ankle had been DUCT TAPED TO THE GUARD RAIL. Shimoda panicked as the referee reached the count of eighteen. With one last burst of strength, Shimoda yanked his ankle free, breaking the tape. However, by the time he slid into the ring, the referee had reached the count of twenty, counting both men out!
- ATSUKA looked for his third straight tournament win as he faced his protégé and defending champion Kotaro Ota. The two put on a thrilling sprint, with Ota impressing the Kyoto fans by scoring several near falls over ATSUKA. in the end however, ATSUKA trapped Ota in the deadly Nudo Lagunero! Ota however showed incredible guts by refusing to submit, prompting ATSUKA to even scream, "JUST QUIT, YOU IDIOT! BEFORE YOU HURT YOURSELF!" Ota refused, forcing referee Edd Sasaki to jump in and stop the match after being in the hold for well over a minute! ATSUKA got angry at Ota after the match as Shirai and YAKUTA tended to him. ATSUKA grabbed the microphone and berated him for his "stubborn attitude..."
- In the fifth match, NEW FORCE, along with Hokkaido's Jin Hiroto faced the Mushozoku team of Kazuma Fujita, Masafuji Yoshida, Tetsujin and rookie Mamoru Sekishima. Sekishima had visible welts on his chest from the chops he received at the hands of Kazuma Fujita yesterday. He received plenty of punishment tonight as well, as Takayoshi, Watanabe, and Hiroto all took turns lighting him up with chops across the chest. In the end, #1 contender to the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight title Naoyuki Watanabe would trap the rookie in a jujigatame, forcing him to submit. After the match, Sekishima received praise for his guts. Takayoshi told Sekishima to, in the words of Kazuma Fujita, "Always Believe! Never Surrender!"
- In the sixth match, Naoki Fukuda and Shigeru Iwasaki went to war against TAKU and Daisuke Iwata in an extremely volatile match. The match was nearly thrown out from the beginning, as both teams brawled all over ringside. Order was eventually restored, as UPRISER'Z took every shortcut in the book to maintain control. However, TAKU would eventually go overboard after pummeling Fukuda in the corner with a chair. Referee Edd Sasaki attempted to take the chair away, but TAKU simply jabbed the chair into Sasaki's midsection before continuing his assault on Fukuda. Sasaki was forced to call for the DQ. Iwasaki eventually came to Fukuda's aid with a chair as well, chasing both TAKU and Iwata off...
- The tournament resumed as NEW FORCE's Hidaka Kamon faced UPRISER'Z member Kyoto Okazaki. The two had an even exchange back-and-forth, with Kamon doing his best to stay one step ahead of Okazaki's cheating. Towards the end, Kamon had Okazaki set up for the Pescatore Nodo. As a last ditch effort, Okazaki grabbed referee Akinori Fuwa before giving him a BACK GROIN KICK, which led to there being no referee to count when he hit the move. When Kamon went to check on the referee, it gave Okazaki the perfect opportunity to spin Kamon around, before BLATANTLY kicking him in the groin, which set up the Otokogoroshi! Confused at what had happened, Fuwa slowly counted Kamon's shoulders to the mat, giving Okazaki his first win of the tournament!
- In the main event, Kamon's fellow NEW FORCE member Etsuya Kawachi aimed to score his second tournament win, this time over the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion himself, Shin Kaiju! Kaiju tried to get the jump on Kawachi early on, but "Kawachi-sensei" countered early on, sending the Jr. Heavyweight champion to the outside with a flying headscissors, before following up with a bullet tope through the ropes! Kawachi impressed the Kyoto fans with his aggression, as he brought the fight directly to Kaiju. He tried to wear down the champion after trapping him in his "Detention" indian deathlock STF. Kaiju eventually came back however, as he caught Kawachi coming off the ropes, BURYING him into the mat with a wicked Powerslam! Kaiju further punished Kawachi with a flurry of "Kaiju Hammers," followed by a DDT. Kaiju demonstrated his incredible power as well as he hoisted Kawachi high into the air with a delayed vertical suplex. Kaiju held Kawachi up for nearly forty-five seconds before finally sending Kawachi crashing to the mat. Kaiju attempted to end the match after aiming for a diving body press. Kawachi however got to his feet in time to stop Kaiju on the top. After the two struggled for a couple of moments, Kawachi finally connected with a Superplex, sending Kaiju's 100kg frame crashing into the mat! Kawachi would eventually connect with the GTK. Kaiju however mustered enough strength to kick out. As the two scrambled to their feet, Kaiju cut Kawachi off with a VICIOUS Kaiju Lariat, causing Kawachi to do a complete 360! As Kawachi got to his feet, Kaiju aimed for another Kaiju Lariat. Kawachi however cut him off with a jumping knee, catching Kaiju right in the face! With the champion stunned, Kawachi raced off the ropes, only for Kaiju to press him HIGH above his head, before dropping him across his shoulders and SPIKING HIM with the Death Valley Bomb! The fans sensed the end as Kaiju went for the cover. "Kawachi-sensei" however would still manage to kick out after 2.5! Kaiju then tried to finish him with his vicious "Whiplash" Powerbomb. Kawachi however countered, pulling out a Frankensteiner to nearly flash cradle Kaiju! As Kaiju got to his feet, Kawachi BLASTED Kaiju with a high kick, stunning the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion! Kawachi then came off the ropes, hitting Kaiju with a rotating headscissors, before going for the small package to complete the GTK II... Kaiju however STOPPED Kawachi in mid-motion, before DEADLIFTING HIM UP and SPIKING HIM WITH THE FISHERMAN DDT! With Kawachi stunned, Kaiju climbed to the top, before SQUASHING him with the diving body press! Referee Edd Sasaki counted the pin, giving Kaiju the hard earned victory!
