- Pro-Wrestling FURY continued its tour tonight in Aichi, for the fifth night of the J1-MAX League tournament. In the first tournament bout, NEW FORCE's Etsuya Kawachi faced UPRISER'Z member RYUJI. Kawachi tried to stay one step ahead of RYUJI's attempt to score a double ring out. In the end however, RYUJI would succeed in his plan after handcuffing HIMSELF to Kawachi on the outside, forcing Akinori Fuwa to count both men out! After the match, Kawachi apologized for his performance, and said that even though the tournament crown was out of his hands, he would still give his all in his final tournament match tomorrow against Hayato Saigo.
- In the second tournament match, Kyoto Okazaki clashed with Jin Hiroto in what was a renewal of their rivalry years ago. Tonight, the roles were reversed however, as it was Okazaki who was the hated villain, and Hiroto was the popular favorite. The two had some heated exchanges through out, with Hiroto using brutal kicks and elbows, while Okazaki stuck to his rudo ways. Both men began scrambling after the fifteen minute mark in order to avoid a draw. Hiroto had worked over Okazaki's knee through out the bout, causing Okazaki to injure it after connecting with the Otokogoroshi, delaying his pin attempt just long enough to allow Hiroto to recover. Okazaki tried to finish Hiroto with the Moonsault press, but Hiroto got his knees up. With Okazaki stunned, Hiroto unleashed another deadly combination of attacks, climaxing with the triangle enzuigiri to the back of the head! Hiroto later connected with a release Dragon Suplex, causing Okazaki to roll onto his feet. Before he could counter, Hiroto landed a VICIOUS high kick, causing Okazaki to spin in a 180, allowing Hiroto to fold Okazaki in half with the Dragon Suplex hold, giving Hiroto the victory!
- In the main event, Yoshihiro Shimoda and Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON dynamo Hayato Saigo faced off in a highly anticipated "Junior Dream Match." It would be Shimoda's technical prowess against Saigo's incredible athleticism. The early going saw a fantastic display of chain wrestling from both men. Shimoda attempted to establish himself as the superior grappler, but Saigo managed to stay one step ahead of Shimoda. Grappling turned to striking, as Shimoda picked Saigo apart with vicious kicks to the leg and body. After gaining the advantage, Shimoda strung together a variety of attacks to try and put Saigo away, only for Saigo to kick out of every ensuing pin attempt. Saigo finally managed to come back after avoiding Shimoda's charging attack into the corner, before catching Shimoda with a kneel kick. Saigo continued to impress the Aichi fans with his athleticism, which included catching Shimoda with a swan dive missile kick, followed by an impressive standing moonsault! Eventually, Saigo connected with the Schmidt backbreaker, which set up his Moonsault press. However, Shimoda managed to telegraph it by tucking his knees, driving them deep into the abdomen of Saigo! After a flurry of kicks, Shimoda hit Saigo with a German Suplex hold for a 2.5 count. Shimoda pulled Saigo up before BLASTING him in the back of the head with an axe kick, setting up a nasty Backdrop. With Saigo prone, Shimoda followed up by climbing to the top rope, and CRUSHING Saigo's chest cavity with a diving knee drop. Shimoda aimed to finish it after unleashing the Torokeru Conbi. However, as he threw the final high kick, Saigo struck, blocking the shot and CRADLING Shimoda with the Matsukasa! Shimoda however BARELY managed to escape at 2.9, avoiding the loss! Saigo subdued Shimoda after catching him with an Inazuma Leg Lariat. He then attempted to spike Shimoda with the Brainbuster, but Shimoda countered by sliding down Saigo's back, and attempted a German Suplex. Saigo however BACKFLIPPED over Shimoda's head, before SPIKING SHIMODA HEAD FIRST with a jumping complete shot! Rather than go for the cover, Saigo climbed to the top rope, where he CRUSHED Shimoda with the Moonsault press! The fans sensed the end, only to be pleasantly surprised as Shimoda managed to kick out at 2.5! From there, Saigo tried to clinch it by going for the Phoenix Splash... Before he could execute however, Shimoda followed up the turnbuckle, leading to the two exchanging blows. Just as it appeared Shimoda had won out, Saigo ROCKED Shimoda with a flurry of elbows, before hoisting him up vertically, and dropping him stomach first against the mat. With Shimoda in perfect position, Saigo positioned himself for the Phoenix Splash. As he leaped from the turnbuckle, Shimoda managed to narrowly roll out of the way at the last second. Saigo however saw the counter coming, as he LANDED ON HIS FEET before rolling forward from the momentum, allowing him to DART into the corner and BLAST Shimoda in the face with a jumping knee to the jaw! With Shimoda stunned, Saigo was finally able to SPIKE Shimoda with the Brainbuster! Saigo went for the cover, only to be disappointed when Shimoda mustered the strength to kick out at 2.9! Saigo once more went for the Phoenix Splash. However, he was unaware of the fact that Shimoda had SCRAMBLED to his feet in a groggy haze, allowing him to LEAP onto the top turnbuckle behind Saigo, where Shimoda HURLED SAIGO OVERHEAD WITH AN AVALANCHE GERMAN SUPLEX! Saigo NARROWLY avoided landing on his neck, taking the brunt of the impact on his face and chest! As Saigo got to his feet, Shimoda came off the ropes, before BLASTING HIM with the Torokeru Knee! Shimoda went for the cover, ONLY FOR SAIGO TO KICK OUT AT ONE! As Saigo scrambled to his feet, Shimoda came roaring off the ropes, before blasting Saigo in the BACK OF THE HEAD with an Enzui Torokeru Knee! The shot only sent Saigo reeling forward into the ropes, which sent him stumbling backwards. Shimoda came off the ropes again, hitting Saigo once more with another Torokeru Knee, sending Saigo FLYING! Shimoda quickly went for the cover, ONLY FOR SAIGO TO KICK OUT AT 2.999!!! The fans ROARED in appreciation as a look of frustration came over Shimoda's face... However, something clicked in Shimoda's brain as Saigo groggily sat up. From out of the corner, Shimoda flew, SMASHING SAIGO'S FACE WITH A SLIDING TOROKERU KNEE! Shimoda landed on top of Saigo, as referee Edd Sasaki rendered the three count!
The fans ERUPTED in cheers and applause after the match, with random calls of "SHI-MO-DA!" and "SA-I-GO!" bubbling. After coming to, Saigo accepted defeat graciously after shaking Shimoda's hand... Saigo however told Shimoda that even though he was beaten tonight, he felt CRIMSON had the superior junior class, and promised to avenge this loss in the future...
