- The Sakura Tag Festival continued in Kyoto tonight, drawing a full house of 750 fans. In the first tournament bout of the night, Masato Osagawa and Mamoru Sekishima earned their first win of the tournament, besting F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion Naoki Fukuda and Shigeru Iwasaki. Both teams put on an exciting ten-minute match, with the end coming after Osagawa implanted Iwasaki into the mat with the Last Ride Powerbomb... Backstage, Osagawa said that he bared no shame in their performance, citing Sekishima's lack of experience. However, Osagawa noted that Sekishima had greatly benefited from participating.
- In the second match, KobaKen kept their tournament hopes alive with a much needed victory over Hiroaki Nakata and Shuji Kido. “S & S” fared strong early on, using a mixture of technique and teamwork to control. KobaKen however came back, with the two scoring a near fall over Nakata after sandwiching him with their Axe Bomber/McEnroe finisher. In the end, Hujikawa sunk Kido with the Axe Bomber K, giving he and Kobayashi two more points.
- Next, Tetsuhisa NAKAI and Norihiro Akashi picked up their third win of the tournament over Otsuo Kayusa and Chikao Kessin. Both teams put on a main event performance, trading several near falls in the final minutes of the bout. In the end, Norihiro Akashi would pick up a HUGE victory over his mentor, Otsuo Kayusa after using his volatile “Ignition Crash” maneuver! The Kyoto fans roared with cheers and calls for Akashi afterwards. Backstage, Akashi vowed to seize the F-MAX Tag Team titles tomorrow after they defeat RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji. NAKAI spoke rather candidly to reporters, citing his poor performance since losing to Akuma Toyota last year. He even admitted to contemplating retirement at one point. However, NAKAI said he could never leave Pro-Wrestling. He said he was ready to make a statement with Akashi on 4/11, and told reporters that he planned to shock FURY...
- The Foreshadowing continue to impress in the FURY ring, picking up their third victory, tonight over the still win-less Daisuke Iwata and YAKUTA. The end saw Tom Sawyer pick up the pin over YAKUTA after he and Harper finished him with The National Razor. Backstage, Sawyer and Harper proudly showed off their Defiance Tag Team titles to reporters. Harper said they planned on leaving Japan with two sets of tag team titles.
- In the semi final, the seemingly-leveled up team of “WILD STYLE,” RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji ran into their first road block of the tournament in the form of DYNAMITE's heel invaders, Goro Iijima and Niwatori Ogawa. With two heel teams, control was almost immediately lost as all four men began fighting around the ring, using whatever weapon they could get their hands on. Referee Akinori Fuwa did his best to be lenient, given the situation. However, shortly after the five minute mark, he found himself being accidentally sandwhiched between two chairs at the hands of RYUJI and Iijima, forcing him to call for the no contest... The drama took a strange turn after the match, as it seemed both teams had BEFRIENDED one another... Backstage, all four men met reporters, and said that they have bonded over their hated of those in authority, including referees... RYUJI however appeared to speak out of turn, as he bombastically stated, “Yes' they are our friends! Who wouldn't want to be friends with the best heel team on the planet!?” This of course led to an argument over just which team was the best heel team, forcing both teams to be separated...
- The main event saw one of the most crucial group stage matches of the tournament, as Akira Takayoshi and Naoyuki Watanabe met the “Neo Baka Machineguns,” TAKU and Go Taniguchi. Both teams put everything on the line to put on arguably the best bout on the card. All four men traded fierce near falls in the last five minutes of the match. In the end however, it would be Akira Takayoshi who would unleash a flurry of enzuigiris to the back of Go Taniguchi's skull, allowing Akira to fold Go in half with the Tiger Suplex hold, giving he and Naoyuki a much needed victory! Backstage, Akira noted just how close the B Block was, and said it was crucial they defeat Jun Kobayashi and Kenichiro Hujikawa... Go vehemently apologized to TAKU afterwards. TAKU however told Go to save his apologies, and told him to focus on their final tournament match against “The Foreshadowing” on 4/11...
