9. KOF Grand Prix - Block B: Naoki Fukuda [4] beat Masakazu Fujimoto [CRIMSON] [0] (26:31) with the Mastodon Crash.

* FURY Ace Naoki Fukuda and Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's Masakazu Fujimoto collided in heavy-hitting main event. Fukuda had trouble dealing with Fujimoto's size early on, forcing him to have to resort to short-burst offense to wear the mammoth down. The F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion eventually won out, but only after using two consecutive Mastodon Crashes to put the monster down, giving the champion his second straight victory.

* The semi final saw a first-time match up between Tetsuhisa NAKAI and Jet Jaguar. Unfortunately, fans would barely be given the chance to breathe as Jaguar eagerly attacked NAKAI before the bell, getting a jump on his much larger opponent. Both wrestlers traded heavy moves, ending ultimately with NAKAI SPIKING Jaguar with the MAX BULLET following a SICKENING strong-arm lariat, giving NAKAI the win in under four minutes!

* Watanabe and Akashi clashed in a thrilling technical exchange of holds and counters. Akashi played the aggressor, which led to him falling into several of Watanabe's laid traps, leading to Watanabe eventually stealing the win with a Japanese Leg Roll clutch to secure his second win! Akashi seemed to take the loss hard, even refusing to shake hands with Watanabe post-match.

8/22 Notes: The former Shin Kaiju, Masato Osagawa met his former friend YAKUTA in a singles match for the first time in Hyogo. Unfortunately, the match would be thrown out quickly, as both men lost control of themselves. Osagawa and YAKUTA engaged in a violent brawl outside of the ring, using whatever they could get their hands on to inflict punishment. The match was finally thrown out after the two sandwhiched referee Akinori Fuwa. As officials attempted to pull YAKUTA towards the back, Osagawa was ambushed from behind by RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji. Osagawa however came back, taking Tsuji out with a VICIOUS lariat, before tossing RYUJI high into the air, catching him, and SPIKING him with a Death Valley Bomb... The show saw some surprise participation by Nansei Nihon Pro-Wrestling's FALCON Hori, who teamed with F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Jet Jaguar as a replacement for the injured GALLEON. Together, the two were able to defeat the UPRISER'Z duo of ATSUKA and Kyoto Okazaki. After the match however, ATSUKA assaulted the Jr. Heavyweight champion, before laying him out with his new "BDSM" straight jacket piledriver. ATSUKA further embarressed the champion by attempting to place a ball gag around his mouth. Thankfully, Masato Osagawa made the save, chasing ATSUKA to the back.

- The J1-MAX League continued in Hyogo tonight. The first match saw the eagerly anticipated debut of the "Greco Superman," 198cm Mamoru Sekishima, who faced the man he idolized through out his high school and college wrestling days, "Mr. 300%" Kazuma Fujita. Being a Hyogo native, Sekishima received a huge ovation. It was a strange side, as Sekishima had the size advantage over Fujita. Finally, Fujita decided to waste no more time as he BLASTED Sekishima with VICIOUS chops to the chest. Sekishima took the shots as if it was a ritual, before firing back with THICK chops of his own, sending the patriarch of the FURY dojo stumbling back! Fujita then decided to test Sekishima's strength, as the two engaged in a collar-and-elbow lockup. Sekishima immediately established his strength by sending Fujita backpedaling, before SHOVING him into the corner! Fujita tried once more with the collar-and-elbow. This time, Fujita redeemed himself as he managed to muscle Sekishima into the ropes. Fujita slowly let up as referee Akinori Fuwa called for the break. Sekishima however boldly caught Fujita with a JARRING slap across the face, gaining a HUGE reaction! This was too much for Fujita, who UNLOADED on the rookie with a flurry of VICIOUS elbows! Just as Sekishima appeared to be slipping into unconsciousness, Fujita whipped the 120kg Sekishima into the ropes, before BLASTING HIM WITH THE FUJITA LARIAT! Fujita covered Sekishima for the win, ONLY FOR THE ROOKIE TO KICK OUT AT ONE! Fujita followed with another lariat attempt... However, Sekishima cut him off with a BRUTAL kitchen sink! Sekishima continued to put up a tough fight, until Fujita caught him with a second Fujita Lariat. Rather than go for the pin, Fujita mustered up the strength to lift the 120kg Sekishima off the ground, before FOLDING him in half with a Powerbomb, pinning his shoulders to the mat for the three count!

The Hyogo fans gave an exhausted Sekishima a round of applause after the match. Sekishima said he gave his best tonight, and had no regrets in losing to his idol. Fujita praised him afterwards, admitting that he had underestimated him early on into the match.

- In the third match, Naoki Fukuda and REAL-ONE continued their feud with TAKU and UPRISER'Z. Fukuda shed the rest of his "Mastodon" persona tonight, as he used the "Real" (formally Mastodon) Buster to score the pinfall over Manabe Tsuji. Fukuda and TAKU repeated much of their verbal exchanges from last night. TAKU promised to change the FURY mat colors of gold and silver to "black and red" with Fukuda's guts...

- The J1-MAX League continued as UPRISER'Z allies collided, with F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Shin Kaiju facing RYUJI. There was some tension between the two as they came into the ring. Both men had an intense stare down before the gong sounded... Finally, the two friends locked up. Kaiju had the obvious advantage, as he muscled RYUJI across the ring. After the two got some separation, RYUJI finally came off the ropes, only to be knocked flat on his back with a shoulder tackle. Kaiju dropped down for the cover... And to the surprise of the fans... RYUJI didn't kick out. RYUJI calmly sat up as the gong sounded, revealing the entire match to be a ruse. The fans booed heavily as RYUJI celebrated with Kaiju, who mocked the fans for buying into it...

- Next we have ATSUKA and Hidaka Kamon in the A block. ATSUKA aimed to continue his winning ways tonight, while Kamon hoped to score his first win after falling to Jet Jaguar last night. The two had an enjoyable sprint, with Kamon surprisingly controlling a good portion of the match. However, ATSUKA eventually caught him with the Punk Dropkick, followed by the AC-Z. ATSUKA later connected with a Moonsault press that nearly gave him the victory. Kamon came back after countering ATSUKA's AT-Z, which allowed him to spike ATSUKA with a Fisherman Buster! Kamon then tried to finish ATSUKA with the Pescatore Nodo. ATSUKA however escaped the attempt, before catching Kamon with a savate kick, followed by an kneeling enzuigiri! Eventually, ATSUKA caught Kamon in the dreaded Nudo Lagunero. Kamon tried to escape, but when it was clear there was no where to go, Kamon was forced to submit!

- The A block continued in the semi final, as Jet Jaguar did battle with UPRISER'Z's Kyoto Okazaki. Okazaki took every shortcut in the book early on after ambushing Jaguar before the bell. Okazaki dragged him around ringside and hurled him into a row of empty chairs as fans scattered away. In the ring, Jaguar made a comeback using precise kicks, before finally catching Okazaki with an axe kick to the chest as he came into the corner. From there, Jaguar did what he could to put away the veteran. Okazaki however countered out of Jaguar's Spiral Bomb attempt with a groin attack, which allowed him to BLAST Jaguar in the chest with the Colt Python. However, Jaguar managed to crotch him on the top rope as he went for the Moonsault. With Okazaki prone, Jaguar connected with a BRUTAL avalanche Backdrop, driving Okazaki on the back of his head! While Okazaki managed to kick out at 2.5, he had nothing left to fight Jaguar, who finished "The Outlaw" with the Spiral Bomb, giving Jaguar his second straight win!

- In the main event, Yoshihiro Shimoda and Shigeru Iwasaki clashed as two of FURY's streamline junior heavyweight stars searched for their first win in the tournament. Both men came into the ring knowing what to aspect from the other, and took the bout one step at a time as the match began. The two engaged in some mat work early on, with neither man seemingly getting the upper hand. Tempers eventually flared, as Shimoda WHACKED Iwasaki between the shoulder blades with a fierce kick. The shot awoken some vigor within Iwasaki, who answered with a flurry of elbows! The exchange continued, until Iwasaki finally caught Shimoda with a SNAPPING shining enzuigiri to get control of the match! Iwasaki maintained that control for the next few minutes, until Shimoda caught him with a back elbow as Iwasaki came rushing into the corner. From there, Shimoda threw a flurry of kicks, ending with a HARD savate kick to the stomach, lifting Iwasaki off his feet! After a vertical suplex, Shimoda once more planted another kick between Iwasaki's shoulder blades, before grounding him with a chin lock. Iwasaki eventually fought his way back to his feet, only for Shimoda to let up on the hold and land a flurry of knee kicks to Iwasaki's upper body! However, as Shimoda came off the ropes, Iwasaki fought back with a SHARP kick to the body, sending Shimoda stumbling back into the corner. There, Iwasaki stepped off the corner, before BLASTING Shimoda with another enzuigiri! Finally, as Shimoda staggered out of the corner, Iwasaki struck, blasting Shimoda in the back of the skull with the Tsumujikaze! The fans sensed the end as they counted along with the fall. Shimoda however disagreed, as he kicked out after 2.5! As the 15-minute mark passed, Iwasaki aimed to finish it once and for all, as he hooked Shimoda's arm in the hammerlock DDT position to set up the Cross Knell! Shimoda however escaped, before ROCKING Iwasaki with a high kick! With Iwasaki stunned, Shimoda followed with a picture perfect German Suplex hold! However, Iwasaki would muster the strength to kick out at 2.5! This time, Shimoda aimed to finish it as he pulled Iwasaki up, before unloading with the Torokeru Combination! After another THUDDING high kick, Shimoda came roaring off the ropes for the Torokeru Knee. However, Iwasaki managed to side-step it at the last second, before leaping for another shining enzuigiri! Shimoda however deflected the shot as well, before coming off the ropes and BLASTING IWASAKI WITH THE TOROKERU KNEE! As the clock reached the 19:00 mark, Shimoda went for the cover, ONLY FOR IWASAKI TO KICK OUT AT 2.5! After dragging Iwasaki towards the center of the ring, Shimoda went for broke as he applied a CHICKENWING ARMLOCK! With fifteen seconds left in the match, Shimoda CRANKED back on Iwasaki's shoulder as hard as he could. Iwasaki SCREAMED in pain, but refused to submit! He slowly inched himself towards the ropes... But thankfully for him, that was not needed as the twenty-minute time limit expired!

The fans applauded the efforts of both men, despite being somewhat deflated at the non-result... Both men appeared very frustrated, but quickly came to terms on the result. Both men bowed respectfully to the Hyogo fans, who met them off with a huge round of applause...

- FURY returned to Hyogo tonight drawing another packed crowd to the Kobe Sambo Hall. The show opened with an appearance by the former Mastodon, now Naoki Fukuda, Jun Kobayashi and Shigeru Iwasaki. Fukuda announced that the three have formed a joint struggle against UPRISER'Z, and asked for the fans support tonight, as they will face TAKU, Daisuke Iwata and Kyoto Okazaki in the nights main event, and announced that the name of their new unit would be revealed following the main event. Jun Kobayashi spoke next, announcing that he had signed an official wrestler contract with FURY, making him an official member of the roster, which earned him a loud round of applause from the Hyogo fans. Iwasaki finally spoke, saying that he felt like Fukuda, in that he wanted to lead a one man crusade against his former friend Daisuke Iwata, and the rest of UPRISER'Z, but said he realized the strength in numbers, and promised to lend his full support in this new unit. Fukuda thanked the fans once more before the three made their way to the back...

- Younglings Tetsujin and Ryuugo Nagashima continued their generation rivalry in the first match of the night. Tonight, it was Ryuugo who would score a measure of revenge after Tetsujin abandoned him on yesterday's Osaka convention, as Nagashima sunk Tetsujin with the brutal R-Bracer sliding elbow. Tetsujin apologized for his rude behavior after the match, but said that he could not accept being at the same level of Nagashima, an "outsider." Yoshida got on Tetsujin's case, saying that while Nagashima is not an official wrestler, he is apart of our extended family, just like other wrestlers as he name dropped local favorite GALLEON of Nansei Nihon Pro-Wrestling for an easy reaction... Tetsujin apologized to his senpai, and said that he will answer for his attitude at a later date, but said his focus would be to show he is stronger than Nagashima when they meet on 7/05 in Osaka. Nagashima said he understood Tetsujin's feelings, and would hold nothing back in Osaka!

- Mushozoku clashed with UPRISER'Z in the next match, on the eve of the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight title match between Shin Kaiju and Jet Jaguar. As always, it was a tense atmosphere as the two hated rivals squared off. Kaiju immediately went after Jaguar's mask, tearing a ripping one of the horns off. Jaguar however wouldn't stand for this very long, as he showed incredible intensity in his comeback. The PWC Jr. Tag Champions also aimed to establish their dominance as they used their teamwork to work over Kenichiro Hujikawa. In the end however, Hujikawa would be saved by Go Taniguchi, who would fight off both PWC Jr. Tag Champions with northern chops, before catching Tsuji with the Tama Tama Drop for the pin! After the match, Taniguchi showed his rarely seen angry side, as he voiced how he was growing tired of UPRISER'Z and their rule breaking ways. Jaguar and Kaiju continued to brawl after the match until they were finally separated. Jaguar took the microphone and promised to dethrone Kaiju tomorrow without fail!

- In the third match, coming off their match against the PWC Jr. Tag Team Champions yesterday, the OKINAWA SPEED STARS clashed with NEW FORCE's Etsuya Kawachi and Hidaka Kamon in an entertaining sprint. Both teams gave it everything they had, wowing the fans with their aerial attacks and unique team work. In the end however, the SPEED STARS were unable to redeem themselves after last night, as Kamon used his spectacular Shoushinjisatsu to pin Shirai... After the match, Kawachi and Kamon grabbed the microphones, screaming, "OI! CHAMPIONS!" in reference to the PWC Jr. Tag Team Champions, RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji. Kawachi announced their intention of being the next challenger to the titles...

However, it would not be the champion team that would appear, but Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's HIROSHI KUROKI and KAISEN TIGER! Tiger took the microphone, and began to speak broken Spanish as Kamon and Kawachi scratched their heads for a moment... Finally, "Kawachi-sensei" appeared to figure it the translation, as he blurted out, "...Oh! Yes! ...Toilet is that way!" Kuroki jumped in immediately, saying that Kaisen had thrown out a challenge to the PWC Jr. Tag Team champions! Not missing a beat, Kawachi spoke up confused, "...But... we just challenged them." Finally, RYUJI and Tsuji appeared. RYUJI spoke for the team, as Tsuji was still recovering from the previous match. He told both teams that he and Tsuji didn't care which team it was that challenged him, as long as they were the strongest. RYUJI finally suggested both teams face off in a contenders elimination bout. Both teams agreed to it, with the match being slated for sometime in July.

- The fourth match saw Hiroaki Nakata and a special mystery partner face off against ATSUKA and YAKUTA. Nakata told ATSUKA before the match that he only determined his partner after last night, and said it was one of the participants in July's J1-MAX League tournament! This brought out none other than the "Death Agent" himself, JIN HIROTO! This immediately raised the ire of ATSUKA, who had a long standing rivalry with Hiroto and his former partner KANJI Sakaigama. ATSUKA reverted to the rule of antagonizing punk, as he took every cheap shot he could at Hiroto. He unfortunately paid for it in the end, after missing a Moonsault press, allowing Hiroto to unleash a flurry of kicks, ending with him connecting the Jumping High Kick to the side of the skull, allowing Hiroto to score the pinfall over ATSUKA! Hiroto sent a clear message that he was declaring headhunting on all of the wrestlers in the J1-MAX League, including ATSUKA!

- In the fifth match, the NEW FORCE trio of Akira Takayoshi, Naoyuki Watanabe and Kazuki Sendo faced the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion Otsuo Kayusa, along with Norihiro Akashi and Seiji Sasaki. Sasaki stood out in the match as he continued his reform. He had some spirited exchanges with Kazuki Sendo early on. However, another story that developed through out the match was Naoyuki Watanabe constantly taking shots at the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion, perhaps in an attempt to make the champion take notice of a new potential challenger... In the end, Sasaki would score his first direct pinfall over Sendo since dropping the Kinniku Kamen mask, as he pulled off an incredible Shooting Star press for the win. Sendo was highly emotional for the win, as Akashi and Kayusa both applauded his efforts...

- FURY clashed with CRIMSON in the semi final, as C-1 Heavyweight Champion Akuma Toyota and CRIMSON Junior Dynamo Hayato Saigo traveled all the way from Iwate to Hyogo to face the "Ultimate Openweight Combination" Tetsuhisa NAKAI and Yoshihiro Shimoda in a match that would steal the show. The fans were highly into the powerful exchanges between NAKAI and Toyota, who lit each other up with blistering chops and elbows. After the two power fighters reached their stalemate, things picked up between Shimoda and Saigo as they traded blows. Shimoda took control quickly, but it didn't last long as Saigo used rope work to comeback, and take Shimoda by surprise with a slinging hurricanrana. The CRIMSON team gladly played the role of "heels, "as they often took cheap shots at the FURY team, earning them vociferous boos. Shimoda garnered some great sympathy cheers as he faced off against the mighty C-1 Heavyweight Champion. Shimoda held nothing back, putting everything he had into kicks to the body, only for Toyota to easily shrug them off. However, Shimoda continued throwing kicks to the body, before throwing a winging left high kick, catching the C-1 Champion across the side of the head! Shimoda then unleashed his patented "Torokeru Combo", which set up the the TOROKERU KNEE KICK! However, Toyota showed his strength by throwing his massive arm, KNOCKING AWAY SHIMODA'S KNEE! As Shimoda got to his feet, Toyota unleashed a VICIOUS LARIAT, sending Shimoda into a complete 180 degree spin! NAKAI eventually made the save for Shimoda, bringing the fight to his 7/27 opponent. NAKAI showed his incredible strength in lifting the 121kg Toyota above his head, before flattening him with the Devil Eruption! Never the less, the "Devil from Iwate" kicked out of the pin at ONE! Toyota would later fight back, countering NAKAI's lariat attempt with a lariat of his own, as both men crashed into one another with incredible force. The two continued, draining each other of stamina in strength, before eventually being forced out to tag out to their partners. The pace picked up once more, with Shimoda throwing everything he could at Saigo, who used his insane agility to counter everything. However, Shimoda finally caught Saigo with a well-placed savate kick, allowing him to connect with a snapping enzuigiri to the back of the skull! Shimoda continued, hitting a missile kick, followed soon by the German Suplex hold, only for Saigo to kick out at 2.5! Saigo would get back on offense after blocking Shimoda's Shinto Buster attempt, leading to him using the Matsukasa wrist-clutch inside cradle, with Shimoda NEARLY being pinned! After a flurry of knees to the body, Saigo followed up, SPIKING Shimoda with a nasty vertical Brainbuster! With Shimoda prone, Saigo climbed to the top, where he leaped with a Moonsault press! Shimoda however had the wherewithal to pull up his knees, driving the air out of Saigo's body! As Saigo scrambled to his feet, Shimoda followed up, BLASTING Saigo with the Torokeru Knee! The fans ROARED as Shimoda went for the cover... However, the fall would be broken up by Toyota, who dead lifted Shimoda up from the ground, before lifting him up, and HURLING HIM INTO THE TURNBUCKLE WITH A POWERBOMB!! NAKAI came in to try and make the save, only to be quickly thrown out of the ring by Toyota. Finally, as Shimoda slowly pulled himself up, the relentless C-1 Heavyweight Champion came off the ropes, before DECAPITATING SHIMODA WITH A SICKENING LARIAT! With Shimoda lying prone, Saigo followed up by climbing to the top, and finishing him with a spectacular PHOENIX SPLASH, giving the CRIMSON team the victory!

The FURY fans booed the invading team vociferously. Saigo spoke afterwards, saying that while he has always admired Shimoda's skill, his goal is to show that CRIMSON has the strongest Junior Heavyweights come July in the J1-MAX League. Saigo's arrogant tone rubbed fans the wrong way, who showered him with boos. The brash C-1 Heavyweight Champion had nothing good to say to NAKAI as well, calling his performance tonight "weak," and promised to show the "strength of the C-1 Heavyweight Champion" on 7/27 in Iwate!

- In the main event, Naoki Fukuda, Jun Kobayashi, and Shigeru Iwasaki battled the UPRISER'Z trio of TAKU, Daisuke Iwata, and Kyoto Okazaki in a volatile encounter. In typical fashion, UPRISER'Z ambushed their opponents before the introduction, leading to a wild brawl all over ringside. TAKU was particularly brutal against his former "Chojin Powers" partner, as he smashed three chairs successively across Fukuda's back. Elsewhere, Iwata immediately bloodied Iwasaki up while using the time keepers hammer. In the ring, Jun Kobayashi and Kyoto Okazaki faced off as the official legal men in the match. Kyoto antagonized Kobayashi with jabbing kicks and name calling, provoking Kobayashi to fight back with great intensity. The new unit showed off good team work for their first match together, but were seemingly no match for the cohesive UPRISER'Z trio... Towards the end, the match broke down into a six-way brawl once again, with Iwata and Iwasaki left in the ring as the legal men. Iwasaki appeared to to have the edge on his sworn rival. However, the numbers game would catch up as RYUJI distracted the referee, allowing Manabe Tsuji to come into the ring and attack Iwasaki with a chair from behind! Iwata capitalized, as he sicked the Cobra Claw on Iwasaki! However, the unnamed trio would receive some unlikely help as KENICHIRO HUJIKAWA and GO TANIGUCHI returned to the ring, taking both Tsuji and RYUJI out! Iwata attempted to blast Go with a chair, but Taniguchi countered with a Northern chop, THROUGH the chair, driving the head INTO Iwata's head! With Iwata stunned, Iwasaki followed up by SPIKING Iwata face first into the mat with the Cross Knell, giving him the pinfall victory over his former friend!!

All five fought UPRISER'Z off from the ring quickly. Fukuda said that they would not be denied tonight, as it was the starting point of their new group. Kobayashi questioned Hujikawa and Taniguchi afterwards, asking what their intentions were tonight... Hujikawa simply said that he hated bullies, and was growing tired of seeing UPRISER'Z cheat their way to victory. Taniguchi echoed the same sentiments, and added that he was tired of being a "sideline player," and wanted to leave an impression in the fabric of Pro-Wrestling FURY. Iwasaki then asked the two if they would join their cause. Hujikawa shrugged, and pledged his support, citing nothing better to do. Taniguchi however was dismissive, stating he wasn't sure what their policy on checkers were, leaving the other four dumbfounded... Iwasaki finally said, "...We...like checkers..." Go's eyes lit up in excitement, as he gave Iwasaki a GIANT bear hug.

Finally, Fukuda revealed a rolled up poster, containing the name of their new unit. He handed both sides to Iwasaki and Kobayashi, who slowly unraveled the poster, showing in English letters, "REAL-ONE." Fukuda explained the meaning of the name to the fans, noting they were gathered to realize one goal: to rid FURY of UPRISER'Z. Fukuda said that tonight would be the new starting point for everyone in the ring, and asked the fans for their support in the future.

- All roads lead to Kyocera, as Pro-Wrestling FURY made its final stop before the 5/31 spectacular! As always, a packed house filled the Kobe Sambo Hall in Hyogo. In the first match, The former CHAOTICS trio of ATSUKA, YAKUTA, and Kotaro Ota scored a victory over the team of Jet Jaguar, Kinniku Kamen Nisei, and Jun Kobayashi.

After the match, F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Shin Kaiju and Kyoto Okazaki made a surprise appearance, confronting ATSUKA regarding the proposed 5/31 "All Star Junior" tag match. As promised, Hyogo's own GALLEON appeared, throwing his name into the ring, as did Jet Jaguar. Yoshihiro Shimoda as well appeared, announcing his participation. Suddenly, another outsider made a surprise appearance, as Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's HAYATO SAIGO appeared, announcing his intentions of participating! The surprises would continue, as one of the most iconic teams in Pro-Wrestling FURY history, KANJI Sakaigama and Jin Hiroto, the VISUAL SPIRITS appeared! KANJI was as boisterous as ever, declaring that there could not be an "All Star" match without him, and announced that 5/31 would be his first match in Japan in over two years! With nine men confirmed, one more was needed... And of course, the demand would be filled as former FURY star YOSHI YUJITA made a shocking appearance, announcing his intention of participating, promising to show the Pro-Wrestling FURY fans his growth in his hometown of Osaka! ATSUKA laughed, noting that there was so much bad blood between people that forming two cohesive teams may be impossible...

- Coming off of the UPRISER'Z 2nd Anniversary show, Shigeru Iwasaki and Daisuke Iwata faced off in a tag confrontation for the first time since their brutal chain deathmatch. Both men still had marks on their head from the reckless fight. In the end, Iwata continued to ride his tide of momentum by gripping Shirai's throat with the paralyzing Cobra Claw for the three count. Afterwards, Iwasaki expressed his desire to continue fighting Iwata, and issued a challenge to him for 5/31. Iwata accepted, but only in a six-man tag match, citing he had no desire to face Iwasaki in a singles match after defeating him on 5/20. Begrudgingly, Iwasaki accepted. Fumihiko Shirai offered his assistance, hoping to redeem himself after tonight. Naturally, Shirai's fellow OKINAWA SPEED STARS partner Kotaro Ota also offered his help, confirming Iwasaki's team. Iwata announced the new PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji as his partners!

- Next, Tetsuhisa NAKAI led the inexperienced duo of Tetsujin and Ryuugo Nagashima against the STRONG RIDERS trio of Otsuo Kayusa, Kyoshima Yosuken, and Kenichiro Hujikawa. All six men put on an entertaining bout, as NAKAI doing his best to instruct Tetsujin and Nagashima. Unfortunately, the experience gap was too much for them, as Kenichiro Hujikawa caught Nagashima with the Axe Bomber K, giving STRONG RIDERS the victory... After the match, there was some strife between Tetsujin and Nagashima. While Nagashima received sporting handshakes and praise from NAKAI and STRONG RIDERS, Tetsujin met him with a disrespectful shove! Tempers flared as Nagashima and Tetsujin lunged at one another, only to be held back!

- The first of three "ROAD TO KYOCERA Special" matches took place next, as NAKATA'S ARMY face Tatsumichi Akamatsu's STRONGHOLD faction in a direct eight-man tag confrontation. However, just like they did on 5/22, STRONGHOLD once again remained supreme, after Akamatsu took Go Taniguchi out with the deadly Jumping High Kick. After the match, Nakata praised the cohesiveness of STRONGHOLD, but said that the true winner would be determined on 5/31 between he and Nakata. Akamatsu agreed, and said that their fight would be no doubt "RADICAL." Nakata promised to give his all on 5/31, with Akamatsu agreeing to do the same...

- Next, NEW FORCE collided with UPRISER'Z for the final time before 5/31 in a ten-man tag elimination match, pitting all five members of NEW FORCE against the F-MAX Tag Team Champions TAKU & Mastodon Fukuda, along with F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Shin Kaiju, Kyoto Okazaki, and one-half of the PWC Jr. Tag Team Champions, RYUJI. The two captains of each team, Akira Takayoshi and TAKU started the match off with brawling, showing no hesitation in tearing into one another before their fated tag team title match. However, their overzealousness caused both men to send themselves tumbling over the top rope, eliminating BOTH men in just over two-minutes in! Watanabe and Fukuda took over as their respective team captains. Things would be rough for NEW FORCE however, as Kazuki Sendo was eliminated five minutes later, after being spiked onto his skull by RYUJI's Tombstone Driver. The bad luck would continue as Shin Kaiju eliminated Hidaka Kamon after two consecutive Kaiju Lariats. However, Watanabe would show his craftiness in eliminating the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion just thirty-four seconds later via ring out! Four minutes later, Kawachi would avenge Sendo after countering RYUJI's Tombstone with the go 2 school, knocking him out for the elimination! However, Kawachi would not be long for the match, as Kyoto Okazaki eliminated him after face-planting him with the Otokogoroshi, giving UPRISER'Z the two-on-one advantage against Naoyuki Watanabe... Naturally, the two heels took advantage by double teaming Watanabe... However, their teamwork would backfire after Fukuda caught Okazaki with a mis-aimed Lariat, sending Okazaki FLYING over the top rope! Fukuda attempted to rectify his mistake by putting even more pressure on Watanabe. The two traded holds during the closing moment of the match. Watanabe did his best to counter-wrestle, which led to him ducking Fukuda's lariat and countering with a release Dragon Suplex, only for Fukuda to completely disregard the attack! After a brutal flurry of elbows, Fukuda tried to finish it with the Mastodon Hades... However, Watanabe struck once again, rolling forward and cradling Fukuda' holding his legs JUST BARELY long enough for the three count, giving NEW FORCE the win!

The Hyogo fans roared in cheers afterwards, as NEW FORCE dealt UPRISER'Z one final decisive victory before 5/31! The loss took UPRISER'Z completely off guard, who immediately protested the three count to referee Akinori Fuwa. Never the less, TAKU told Akira and Watanabe that there would be no "fluke cradles" on 5/31, and vowed to KILL "TakaNabe" to retain their titles!

- We finally came to the main event, as "Mr. 300%" Kazuma Fujita faced off against Ryo Inoue one final time before their fated showdown on 5/31. As always, the fans were taken in by the aura of Ryo Inoue, who carried himself with pride and confidence, while dragging the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight title behind him in his usual disrespectful fashion... Fujita's partner, Masafuji Yoshida was eager to test himself against Inoue, but he would be forced to do battle with former FURY Dojo graduate, Yuichi Miwa first. Miwa showed his incredible growth, using sharp kicks to try and cut down Yoshida, only for Yoshida to fight back with hearty chops to the chest. Eventually, both Fujita and Inoue were tagged in, giving the Hyogo fans yet another brief glimpse in what is in store for 5/31. The two traded simple holds, before stalemating as usual, showing neither man had an obvious advantage. In the end, Inoue would once again establish his dominance by forcing Yoshida to submit with a tight sleeper hold. However, Inoue decided to send a message to Fujita, by maintaining the sleeper even after the match, forcing Fujita to forcibly pull Inoue off! When Inoue continued to hold on, Fujita struck, SMASHING into the top of Inoue's head with VICIOUS kesagiri chops, prompting Inoue to release the hold! The Hyogo fans ROARED in unanimous cheers for Fujita, who chased the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion off. For the first time since their match was announced, Fujita showed fire in his microphone work, declaring he was sick of Inoue's disrespect of mistreatment of Pro-Wrestling FURY wrestlers, and said that he would end Inoue's reign of TERROR on 5/31, in front of his home fans in Osaka. Inoue was delighted to hear this, and shot Inoue a pleased smile as he headed to the back...

- The all important final night of group stages saw the Sakura Tag Festival come down to two teams in each block. By the end of the night, we would know the two teams that will face off on 4/25 to determine the Sakura Tag Festival champions...

In the B Block, the finals slot came down to an important Champion Team vs. Champion Team, as the F-MAX Tag Team Champions TAKU and Mastodon Fukuda clashed with the PWC Jr. Tag Team Champions Jet Jaguar and GALLEON in a thrilling contest. For TAKU and Fukuda, it was a must-win, as anything less than a victory would knock them out, and send Jaguar and GALLEON into the finals. After an exhaustive battle back and forth, TAKU and Fukuda would pull it out from the clutch, after Fukuda spiked GALLEON with the "Mastodon Hades" after several near falls. Even in defeat, both Jaguar and GALLEON seemed elevated their to their heroic performances...

In the main event, the team that would be set to face off against TAKU and Fukuda in the finals would be decided, as defending champions Otsuo Kayusa and Kyoshima Yosuken faced the NEW FORCE team of Akira Takayoshi and Naoyuki Watanabe. The Hyogo fans seemed split in favoritism, between the standard bearers of FURY's tag division since the company's inception in Otsuo Kayusa and Kyoshima Yosuken, and one of the fastest rising tandems in FURY in Akira Takayoshi and Naoyuki Watanabe. Both teams struggled to assert themselves early on. Akira and Otsuo in particularly grew frustrated against one another, as neither could gain an advantage. Finally, STRONG RIDERS managed to gain control after Yosuken escaped a German Suplex attempt from Watanabe, allowing him to make the hot tag to Kayusa. From there, STRONG RIDERS worked over Watanabe for the next couple of minutes. Yosuken eventually scored the first decisive near fall of the match after driving Watanabe's face into the mat with the Calf Branding. Watanabe was finally able to fight back after catching Yosuken with a release German Suplex, allowing him to tag out to Akira. From there, "TakaNabe" gained some major footing, as they scored several near falls, including one over Kayusa as Akira grabbed Kayusa in a double chickenwing, allowing Watanabe to blast him with the Kenka KIck, sending Kayusa into Akira's Tiger Suplex hold! Thankfully for Kayusa, Yosuken was able to make the diving save at 2.8! Towards the end, both teams were spent after putting everything they had into finishing the match. Akira and Kayusa took their fight to the outside, leaving only Yosuken and Watanabe. Yosuken seemed to be wearing down Watanabe, until he went for a second Calf Branding. It was then Watanabe fought back, and countered the Calf Branding with a Superplex for another near fall... After both men recovered, they tore into one another with fierce elbows... Just as Watanabe appeared to get the advantage, Yosuken countered his attack with a Sleeper hold! Watanabe tried his best to escape, but he eventually collapsed onto his rear, giving Yosuken even more leverage! However, before Watanabe could submit, Akira managed to break away from Kayusa's clutches to make the diving save just in time! After Kayusa pulled Akira back to the outside, Yosuken aimed to finish Watanabe with the Half Nelson Suplex hold... However, with one arm free, Watanabe used what strength he had left to lay into Yosuken with elbows, before transitioning to the go-behind, where he locked Yosuken's arms for a Dragon Suplex hold! However, Yosuken still had the wherewithal to fight back, as he used brute strength to break Watanabe's grip! However, Watanabe immediately transitioned to a waistlock. And in one fluid motion, Watanabe lifted Yosuken up before FOLDING HIM IN HALF with a vicious German Suplex hold! However, Yosuken still had some fight in him as he kicked out at 2.8. However, Watanabe carried Yosuken back to his feet, where he finally succeeded with the Dragon Suplex hold! But like Akira who saved Watanabe minutes before, Kayusa made the last-second save by breaking up the pin! Watanabe aimed to end it with one final move, as he pulled Yosuken back up, he began to lock Yosuken's wrists behind his head for the Kodou-style Dragon Suplex... However, Yosuken tried his best to fight the attack... Kayusa returned to the ring to try and save his partner, but before he could, Akira managed to stagger him with an Enzuigiri, before sending him outside... It was then Akira came off the ropes, and BLASTED the exposed neck-line of Yosuken with a VICIOUS LARIAT, carrying him over into Watanabe's Kodou-style Dragon Suplex hold! From there, there was nothing Kayusa could do, as referee Edd Sasaki counted the three, sending Takayoshi and Watanabe to the tournament finals!

The fans erupted in cheers, as for the first time in the history of the Sakura Tag Festival, the finals would not involve Otsuo Kayusa and Kyoshima Yosuken... Despite some natural disappointment, Kayusa and Yosuken accepted defeat... And in a moment that many fans did not pick up on live, both Kayusa and Yosuken approached Akira and Naoyuki, before making a "baton pass" motion, before leaving with their heads lowered...
