Biography: Takashi Otsuka was the first graduate of the FURY dojo, before finding himself in Burning Spirit Pro-Wrestling. Otsuka struggled to achieve success, and eventually joined the heel Black STAR unit out of frustration, where he immediately changed his name to "ATSUKA". During this time, ATSUKA gained fame outside of pro-wrestling, by becoming a moderately successful actor. ATSUKA eventually quit Black STAR after failing to capture the Revolution title, and soon left BSPW all together after the resignation of Kazuma Fujita. ATSUKA joined Pro-Wrestling FURY, and immediately became the top Jr. Heavyweight on the seikigun side, opposite VioMAX's KANJI Sakaigama. This would begin what many would consider to be the rivalry of 2003 in a feud that would span multiple organizations. ATSUKA returned to Burning Spirit Pro-Wrestling in 2003. He participated in the 2003 Burning Revolution tournament, where he swept the block portion of the tournament, before falling to Usagi Yoshida in the finals. ATSUKA finally ended his rivalry with KANJI on 5/31/03, pinning him for the first time in a singles match. In winning, ATSUKA lifted the KFD Jr. Heavyweight title from Sakaigama, and returned it to FURY, due to his commitment to Burning Spirit Pro-Wrestling. After BSPW's collapse, ATSUKA transfered to Real Japan, where he became the first RJPW Jr. Heavyweight champion. After RJPW's collapse, ATSUKA took time off from wrestling, competing sparingly over the next year. After losing in the first round of the 2004 J*TOP tournament, ATSUKA announced his intentions to retire from Pro-Wrestling, and became a referee for FURY. However, it would later turn out to be hoax, as he helped Ryo Kitase retain his KFD Heavyweight title against Yoshihiro Shimoda. ATSUKA would immediately return to Pro-Wrestling, as a member of the heel WILD-V unit. ATSUKA capitalized on his momentum, by dethroning Shimoda as KFD Jr. Heavyweight champion, ending Shimoda's one-year reign as champion. After WILD-V was disbanded, ATSUKA followed Kaneda and Daichi to CHAOTICS. However, ATSUKA protested the group after his friend, YAKUTA was denied entry into the unit. Kaneda eventually left FURY, removing all road blocks from ATSUKA and YAKUTA. Now with Daichi on his hiatus, ATSUKA's role in CHAOTICS is as important as ever. ATSUKA and YAKUTA found moderate success in FURY quickly, capturing the GSW Independent Tag Team titles. In early 2007, ATSUKA began his third reign as KFD Jr. Heavyweight champion. However, after losing the title to Kyoto Okazaki in October of that year, ATSUKA began suffering through a serious slump. In a measure to try and regain his lost form, he reverted to his real name and rookie phase to under go a 14-match trial series, which climaxed with an emotional match against best friend YAKUTA. Despite losing, ATSUKA returned to form by regaining his lost confidence. In April of 2008, ATSUKA and YAKUTA accomplished a mutual goal of becoming World champions together by defeating Millennium S.K. and Ryoma Inoue of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON for the PWC World Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team titles. In August of 2009, ATSUKA, along with partner YAKUTA stunned FURY by betraying Masato Osagawa and Jet Jaguar during a match to join UPRISER'Z.
