Biography: Mamoru, with help from his abnormal size, excelled as a amateur wrestling during his high school days. Mamoru grew up in the 80's and 90's an avid fan of pro-wrestling, and decided to pursue his dream of becoming a pro-wrestler in high school. He repeatedly sent letters to Kazuma Fujita, asking him to train him. Fujita eventually responded personally, encouraging Mamoru to graduate college and get a degree before entering the dojo. While attending Keio University in Tokyo, Mamoru captured the All-Asian Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling in the 120kg weight class. During this time, Fujita met Mamoru for the first time, and regularly attended Mamoru's matches. Mamoru became a hot prospect even before graduating, as he was courted by various kakutougi and kickboxing organizations to join their ranks. Mamoru however turned down the offers. When Mamoru graduated in September of last year, he entered the FURY Dojo the same day, beginning his training. After nine months of training, Mamoru graduated from the FURY dojo as a member of the 14th term. Sekishima debuted in July of 2009 in his home prefecture of Hyogo, against Kazuma Fujita.
