Biography: Toshinari Kubota was one of the first recruits for Kazuma Fujita's "FURY" dojo. Kubota debuted on Kazuma Fujita's FURY exhibition on August 14, 2002. Although he did not win, he and BSPW's White Phoenix took their opponents for a 20-minute draw, gaining much valuable experience. Kubota would work a few tours with Burning Spirit Pro-Wrestling. Wrestling a series of matches against several of Keiji Takano's Black STAR trainees. Fujita launched FURY as an official promotion in October of 2002, and Kubota immediately took a stand and made a name for himself, turning on Hiroaki Nakata and Kyoto Okazaki, causing them to lose to the invading team of the Visual Spirits. After the match, Kubota aligned himself with VS to form VioMAX, a radical rebel group hell-bent on terrorizing FURY. Kubota instantly made an impact when he went undefeated in the group stages of the first installment of the Revival Series tournament. Unfortunately, Kubota's karma caught up with him as the man he betrayed in the finals, Hiroaki Nakata, defeated him. Following the Visual Spirit's exit from FURY, with permission from KANJI Sakaigama, Kubota decided to seal the "VioMAX" name and formed an offshoot unit known as "NuWAVE". The group was comprised of the surviving members of VioMAX and Kubota's best friend TSUKYO. Kubota has come into his own as a stand out performer in FURY, bringing a unique charisma with him wherever he goes. Kubota says that he will not be satisfied until he has a title belt around his waist. Prior to October 2003, Kubota wore a unique face mask, but dropped the veil during a confrontation with Tetsuhisa NAKAI to prove his growth. In early 2004, ZERO Kubota captured the KFD Heavyweight title by ending the reign of FURY's #1 enemy, Ryo Kitase, and quickly reverted to his status as FURY's #1 heel. Kubota stunned Pro-Wrestling FURY when he resigned from the company in 2007 to follow the path of his best friend TSUKYO in becoming a deathmatch wrestler. Because of it, Kubota was blackballed from FURY due to Kazuma Fujita's hatred of the style. After failing to get his "MAXIMUM JAPAN" group off the group, Kubota was forced to roam the scum indies of Japan where he was a popular attraction. Shockingly, Kubota suddenly returned to FURY in early 2008 as 1/3 of "ORIGIN"; aligning with generation rivals and usual enemies Tetsuhisa NAKAI and Hiroaki Nakata. Proving once again to be "Mr. Do-Not-Trust," Kubota betrayed ORIGIN and HDU to join UPRISER'Z in August of 2008, leading to the destruction of both units. This renewed his rivalry with Hiroaki Nakata, turning it into a blood feud, climaxing with a loser leaves FURY match on 9/21/08. Nakata won the decisive battle in their rivalry, driving Kubota out of FURY. Afterwards, Kubota announced his retirement from pro-wrestling, citing the retirement of his best friend TSUKYO as a primary motivation.
