Biography: Ryuji Yamashita graduated from the 2nd Term class of the FURY Dojo, debuting along side Daichi Matsumoto, Akahito Yamada, Kenichiro Hujikawa, Matsuya Sekamoto and Yoshihiro Shimoda. Shortly after his debut, he was sent to the United States with Matsuya Sekamoto and Kenichiro Hujikawa. He returned in June of 2003. Hoping to start from scratch, he returned under the name of "Yuji Yamakawa". Yamakawa has yet to make a name for himself in pro-wrestling, but is a reliable support for HDU. In the last two years, he has made attempts to revitalize himself and his move set. In 2004, he debuted the "Comet Rendezvous" (Diving Guillotine Ace Crusher), named after a Megumi Hayashibara song... After receiving an invitation from Hiroaki Nakata, Yamakawa made the boldest decision of his career, leaving HDU to join the heel UPRISER'Z group. Yuji struggled to adapt to the heel alignment of the unit, and was the target of constant hazing from the other members of UPRISER'Z. However, the only member to stick up for him was long time friend and senpai Hiroaki Nakata. This made it all the more shocking when Yuji turned on Nakata on 12/21/2007, where UPRISER'Z permanently banished Nakata due to his weakness. For the first time, Yuji truly became a heel, and changed his name to simply "RYUJI."
