Biography: Shigeru Iwasaki comes from a strong combative background, including a brief career in Vale Tudo, where he amassed a 5-2-0 record. Iwasaki graduated as part of FURY's 1st term class, where he formed a strong friendship with Daisuke Iwata, which would later spawn their tag team. Iwasaki debuted on FURY's exhibition show in August of 2002, winning out over Nobusan in nine-minutes. Iwasaki broke out as a star in 2004, capturing the Kyushu Pro-Wrestling Tag Team titles with Daisuke Iwata, and would later go on to win the 2004 J1-WORLD League tournament. He promised to repeat in 2005, but unfortunately suffered a freak shoulder injury in his first tournament match, shelfing him for almost an entire year. After making his return, Iwasaki shockingly announced a brief hiatus from pro-wrestling to return to vale tudo for one night. He competed on his own produced show, facing talented KT-Club fighter Yuichi Miwa. In a hard fought fight, Iwasaki stunned many by catching the cocky young Miwa in a triangle choke, causing him to fall unconscious. In mid-2008, after his long-lasting partnership with Daisuke Iwata stagnated, the two embarked on a nine-match merit series to determine whether they would continue their team, or move on. Although they suffered four straight losses, they made an incredible comeback in winning their next four. However, the fans were stunned as Daisuke Iwata betrayed Iwasaki in the middle of the final match of the series, severing their team and friendship. Shattered by the betrayal, Iwasaki resigned from FURY, and reportedly left the country for an uncertain amount of time. However, Iwasaki returned six months later, aiming to get revenge for Iwata's deceit. Their war continues to wage in FURY's ring.
