Biography: Before becoming a pro-wrestler, Nagashima competed in sports during his youth including boxing and track & field events, where he specialized in the shot put and the hammer throw. After school, Nagashima pursued the opportunity to become a pro-wrestler by joining Kazuya Asakino's Steel Wind Dojo. With Nagashima's size and determination, he quickly found himself apart of the debut card for Hyogo-based group, Nansei Nihon Pro-Wrestling on 10/20/2007. Nagashima struggled early into his career, suffering losses to generation rival Shuji Kido and masked veteran, GALLEON. Nagashima started to come into his own midway into 2008, as he and Wataru Yamada advanced to the finals of Nansei's "TAG BLITZ" tournament, only to fall to GALLEON and Ryoku Torayashi in the finals. Nagashima spent most of feuding with the heel P.R.E. group. The year climaxed with a match against P.R.E. member Buntaro Sakata. With the help of outside interference, Sakata stole the match after a chair attack. As agreed prior to the bout, the loss forced Ryuugo Nagashima to be exiled from the company for the duration of one year.

After a little over two months of hiding, Nagashima joined the roster of Pro-Wrestling FURY on 1/01/2009 as a freelancer. He aims to gain all of the knowledge he can before ultimately returning to Nansei.
