As the show began, Kazuma Fujita and Hiroshita Yagato stood in the ring. The lights dimmed as "Under Fire" began to play. Fujita took the mic and introduced the fourteen participants in the tournament. The members of VioMAX refused to stand in the ring with seikigun. After the opening ceremonies had finished, a brawl between VioMAX and seikigun ensued. Fujita and Yagato broke up the fight. Soon, the show began.
1st Match: REVIVAL SERIES 2002
Kyoko Okazaki [3] pinned Daisuke Iwata [0] with the Yakuza kick at 9'22" [1/4*]
[NOTES:] Okazaki earned three points in his first match against Daisuke Iwata. A huge styles clash between the two that dragged the match down. Iwata stuck to his technical skills while Okazaki used his brawling tactics.
2nd Match: REVIVAL SERIES 2002
Jin Hiroto [2] defeated Masafuji Yoshida [0] by ring out at 8'08" [1/4*]
[NOTES:] Hiroto attempted to try and win the match without help from KANJI Sakaigama and ZERO Kubota, but the strength of the massive Yoshida shown to be too much. Hiroto called upon his friends who dragged Yoshida out from the ring and began to attack him. The referee counted Yoshida out and Hiroto was awarded two points.
3rd Match: REVIVAL SERIES 2002
Tetsuhisa NAKAI [3] made Shigeru Iwasaki [0] submit to the Kendo Clutch at 6'23" [**]
[NOTES:] A pure squash here. Tetsuhisa entered the ring to the same headgear his father use to use. His burning desire showed to be too much for Iwasaki who tapped out to the legendary Kendo Clutch.
4th Match: REVIVAL SERIES 2002
KANJI Sakaigama [3] pinned Hisai Tomagotchi [0] with the Violence Flash at 12'03" [* 3/4]
[NOTES:] Even with the talent of Sakaigama, many expected the Tall Forrest wood to dominate the small Sakaigama. KANJI however outsmarted the big man by using his speed. There was some interference from Kubota as Tomagotchi fell victim to KANJI's Violence Flash and picked up the win.
5th Match: REVIVAL SERIES 2002
Otsuo Kayusa [3] pinned Hiroaki Nakata [0] with an inside cradle at 17'48" [*** 1/4]
[NOTES:] In the best match of the night, the leader of the FURY Home army Hiroaki Nakata fell to Otsuo Kayusa to a flash cradle. The match was evenly matched until Nakata began to gain more offense. Kayusa somehow escaped the prelude to Nakata's Dragon Suplex and rolled him up with an inside cradle and picked up the huge victory.
[COMMENTS:]
Hiroaki Nakata: Kayusa! You took me to my limits. I applaud your strength.
Otsuo Kayusa: Arigato.
Hiroaki Nakata: Perhaps you should be my second in command? What do you think?
Otsuo Kayusa: I will!
Main Event: REVIVAL SERIES 2002
ZERO Kubota [3] pinned Kyoshima Yosuken [0] with the Schwein at 15'09" [** 1/4]
[NOTES:] Before the match, Yosuken appealed to the crowd saying that he would stop VioMAX, and he would start with the seikigun traitor ZERO Kubota tonight. The match saw A LOT of interference from VioMAX. Hiroaki Nakata and Otsuo Kayusa ran out and fought off KANJI and Hiroto. Kubota was still able to get the victory with the Schwein. Kubota fled with the rest of VioMAX.
