- FURY returned to Kyoto on the second-to-last stop before Osaka on 9/21. Due to various circumstances, only 1,600 fans attended tonight's showing, which is quite the dip compared with FURY's last advance upon the building in late March. The first half of the show saw little event, with the highlights being some hostility between C. Bones and Kyoto Okazaki following the third match. Okazaki spouted off some inaudible words in English, which didn't seem to sit well with the American. Both sides were separated before things got out of control...
- In the fourth match, STRONG RIDERS redeemed themselves after a recent streak losses, as Otsuo Kayusa and Kenichiro Hujikawa, along with Kinniku Kamen Nisei overcame Masafuji Yoshida, Tetsujin and Kazuki Sendo. After the match, Yoshida announced that he would continue to take Tetsujin under his wing to strengthen him, and announced the opening of "Yoshida Sumo Gym!" Yoshida threw out a friendly challenge to STRONG RIDERS to face them on 9/21 in a six-man tag. Kayusa accepted, but asked who their third man would be. Yoshida thought for a moment, before calling out CHIKAO KESSIN, who agreed to be the third sumo for the six-man.
- The semi final was a mixed bag of violence and comedy, as UPRISER'Z clashed with members of mushozoku (independent). In the end, Go Taniguchi scored yet another victory over GENJIN "Manabe" TSUJI. A lot of trash talking ensued afterwards, with TAKU and Fukuda vowing to make everyone forget about "TEAM GOLDEN," and establish themselves as the greatest team in the world. Nakata said after thinking about the "Loser Leaves FURY" stipulation for his match with ZERO, he has had second thoughts, and said he would allow ZERO to back out... Of course, ZERO accused Nakata of being a coward, and said he would put a exclamation mark on their rivalry by driving him out of FURY...
- Main Event was an exciting bout, as NEW FORCE faced mushozoku. The early highlights included the fast-paced lucha exchanges between the juniors. But as time progressed, NEW FORCE seized control with team work and great chemistry. However, NAKAI proved to be the equalizer after being pinned directly by Akira yesterday, as he was extremely motivated tonight in front of his home crowd. NAKAI brutalized the F-MAX Heavyweight Champion with chops, causing Akira's chest to glisten with a beet red color. The closing moments mimicked last night's match, as NEW FORCE attempted to triple-team NAKAI. However, this time NAKAI was saved by Shimoda and Jaguar, who took Kawachi and Kamon out with stereo tope suicidas. NAKAI and Akira continued their exchanges in the ring, giving the Kyoto fans a glimpse into 9/21. Akira eventually got the upper hand, and tried to again assert himself with the Tiger Suplex hold, but NAKAI escaped, and folded Akira in half with a half nelson suplex, following a VICIOUS lariat for a 2.5 count! NAKAI then caught the champion with the Devil Eruption, only to get another 2.5! Finally, as Akira staggered to his feet, NAKAI came roaring off the ropes twice before DECAPITATING Akira with a sickening lariat, causing Akira to land directly on his head! The blow was enough to keep Akira down, allowing NAKAI to avenge his direct loss from last night!
After the match, NAKAI said that the strength Akira felt tonight would be increased one-hundred times over in Osaka, and promised he would become the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion!
