- Pro-Wrestling FURY revealed cards for the first stretch of its "ROAD TO KYOCERA DOME" tour, starting with a two-day event from Korakuen Hall to celebrate the final two days of Golden Week. On 5/04, the show will be headlined by Jet Jaguar and Nansei Nihon Pro-Wrestling's GALLEON making their V3 defense of the PWC Jr. Tag titles against the team that defeated the Okinawa Speed Stars on 3/21, GALLEON's fellow Nansei brethren, the team of "HOT LIMIT," Wataru Yamada and Keisuke Rongai. This will be HOT LIMIT's second chance at winning the titles, after failing to beat Kyoto Okazaki and Shin Kaiju in October.
In another big match made, Kazuma Fujita and Ryo Inoue will face off before 5/31 in a preliminary six-man tag match, as Fujita will team with Hiroaki Nakata and Yoshihiro Shimoda against Inoue, and his two T.A.P. recruits, Yuichi Miwa and Yusaku Kitajima.
On the second night, Shin Kaiju will make his V3 defense of his F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight title, facing NEW FORCE's Hidaka Kamon. Upon learning of his impending title defense, Kaiju attempted to turn it down, citing Kamon's weakness as a challenger. Kaiju's appeals however were denied, as President Nishida himself gave Kamon his seal of approval towards challenging for the title. None-too-pleased, Kaiju has vowed to make this the shortest title defense in FURY history.
Other matches of note as the tour moves on will see FURY invade Pro-Wrestling DYNAMITE's home turf of Kanagawa. Upon Hiroaki Nakata's request, DYNAMITE will be promptly dispatching a team, as Tatsumichi Akamatsu will return to the FURY ring, along with fellow STRONGHOLD member Yujiro Higuchi. Together, they will face Nakata, along with a man Higuchi has developed a small rivalry with, fellow 193cm'er, Go Taniguchi.
Finally, on 5/11, FURY will return to Aichi. Upon learning this, F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion promptly demanded to be included on the card... However, he strangely requested not to be involved in a match against Kazuma Fujita, as he wanted to face a member of the FURY roster in a one-on-one bout. Feelers immediately went out to several wrestlers from the FURY roster. But before anybody else could respond, KENICHIRO HUJIKAWA phoned President Nishida within the first five minutes! Hujikawa cited his desire to face Inoue in the ring again after being savagely beaten in their F-MAX Summit match on 11/09. Hujikawa promised to show Inoue the true strength of a FURY roster, and embarrass him in Inoue's hometown of Aichi!
Cards for the second leg of the tour will be announced in the coming days.
