[Results] 6/12/2009 @ Korakuen Hall

- A full house of over 2,300 fans packed into the the world famous Korakuen Hall to witness the first F-MAX Heavyweight title match in Korakuen Hall since 10/21/2007. First however, they would be treated to a singles match pitting the now lone wolf, Mastodon Fukuda against Tetsujin, who unfortunately had to face the wrath of the scorned Fukuda. Tetsujin tried his best to fight early on, using chops and kicks. However, he was no match for the incensed Mastodon, who repeatedly shouted the name of his former friend TAKU while attacking Tetsujin. Fukuda devastated Tetsujin with a lariat, before SPIKING him with the Mastodon Buster. Rather than go for the pin, Fukuda added the exclamation mark after crushing Tetsujin with the Mastodon Splash for the pin in just over four-minutes... After the match, Fukuda took the microphone before screaming, "TAKU! I'M COMING FOR YOU, YOU BASTARD!"

- In the second match, Kenichiro Hujikawa continued to turn heads as he lead Go Taniguchi, along with ATSUKA and YAKUTA to a win over WWA National Heavyweight Champion Hiroaki Nakata, Yoshihiro Shimoda, Fumihiko Shirai, and Kinniku Kamen Nisei, as he used the powerful Axe Bomber K to sink Nisei. After the match, Hujikawa shouted encouragement towards his senpai Otsuo Kayusa for his title match tonight.

- Next, the Korakuen fans were treated to an all-out junior sprint as Jet Jaguar and Kotaro Ota faced F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Shin Kaiju and one-half of the PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions RYUJI. Kaiju and RYUJI controlled the early doing, using shortcuts and quick tags to isolate Ota. However, Ota eventually came back, leading to the hot tag out to Jaguar. Together, the two showed their unity in the ring, as Jaguar would go on to score near falls over both RYUJI and Kaiju. Finally however, the match came down to Ota and RYUJI, who traded attacks towards the finish. In the end, Ota finally jarred RYUJI with a thrust kick, setting up the Michelada submission to give he and Jaguar the win! Ota's celebration was short-lived however, as RYUJI ambushed him from behind with a bamboo sword. Before he could do much damage however, Ota would be saved by Fumihiko Shirai, who ran RYUJI off. Outside the ring, Jaguar and Kaiju continued brawling, before eventually being separated by officials...

- The mushozoku duo of Masafuji Yoshida and Shigeru Iwasaki, along with freelancer Jun Kobayashi were set to face the UPRISER'Z trio of TAKU, Daisuke Iwata, and Kyoto Okazaki... However, the bout was thrown out five minutes in as MASTODON FUKUDA followed through on his promise, as he intruded on the match to assault TAKU! The two former friends and partners traded heavy blows back-and-fourth until Iwata and Okazaki jumped Fukuda from behind to make it a three-on-one. Before they could do much damage however, Fukuda would be strangely aided by Kobayashi and Iwasaki, who both fended off Okazaki and Iwata as Fukuda lariated TAKU over the top rope. UPRISER'Z quickly made their exit to the back as Fukuda stared on angrily. Kobayashi tried to reassure Fukuda that he and Iwasaki had his back... Fukuda however scoffed before brushing straight past Kobayashi as he exited the ring...

- Next, the NEW FORCE trio of F-MAX Tag Team Champions Akira Takayoshi and Naoyuki Watanabe, along with Hidaka Kamon went head-to-head with the mushozoku team of Tetsuhisa NAKAI, Chikao Kessin, and Ryuugo Nagashima. As always, the Korakuen fans ate up the exchanges between Takayoshi and NAKAI, along with Watanabe and Kessin, who share a past history. They were also very receptive of the young Ryuugo Nagashima, who continues to gain vital knowledge and experience in the FURY ring. On this night, he was tested by the innovative unity of NEW FORCE, who held nothing back against Nagashima. Despite showing great guts, Watanabe would eventually catch Nagashima with the Shining Wizard to give NEW FORCE the pin... Despite the loss, Nagashima received good marks for his performance by mentor Tetsuhisa NAKAI. NAKAI however had other things on his mind, as he threw down the gauntlet to CRIMSON Ace and C-1 Heavyweight Champion Akuma Toyota, challenging him to step foot into the FURY ring! Whether the CRIMSON Ace will accept NAKAI's challenge is yet to be seen...

- Over two years ago, Manabe Tsuji and Norihiro Akashi made their pro-wrestling debuts, becoming immediate rivals, surpassing each other at different times. However, after Akashi embarked on his six-month training excursion around the world, he made an incredible return on 5/31, showing that was stronger than anybody had expected. However, while Akashi was traveling the globe, Tsuji made his mark in the FURY ring as a growing member of UPRISER'Z, along with capturing the PWC Jr. Tag Team titles. Tonight, the fated rivals would meet up in their first singles match since 1/11/2008. Akashi received a thunderous ovation from the Korakuen fans, who acknowledged his new strength, despite coming up short in dethroning Ryo Inoue on 6/10. Tsuji however looked just as poised, hoping to show that he is just as strong as his rival, if not stronger. The two wasted no time in catching up as they traded HARD chops after exchanging verbal barbs. The blows continued as both refused to show weakness. Finally however, Tsuji cut Akashi off with a knee to the stomach, before throwing him to the outside. Tsuji excelled on the floor, and broke Akashi down by making good use of the security railing. Back in the ring, Tsuji demonstrated his physical power by muscling around the 112kg Akashi like he was a Jr. Heavyweight. Akashi however fought back after telegraphing Tsuji's spear with a POWERFUL knee kick. Akashi continued, before eventually catching Tsuji with a release German. Tsuji however shrugged off the attack, before catching Akashi with a powerful spear to the body. Later on, Akashi would taste the Guts Coaster for the first time, as Tsuji darted across the entire ring with Akashi on his shoulders, before driving Akashi face first into the mat. Akashi however showed his Burning Spirit by kicking out after 2.5. With the fans rabidly behind Akashi, Tsuji tried to finish him with a second Guts Coaster. However, with the crowd's support, Akashi escaped from behind, before hitting Tsuji with a second German, before ROLLING BACKWARDS onto his feet, where he dead lifted Tsuji's 99kg frame into the air, before SPIKING him with a high-bridge German Suplex hold! The fans counted along with Akinori Fuwa, sensing the end... However, they'd quickly erupt in shock and applause as Tsuji powered out of the bridge at 2.5! Akashi would later aim to finish it with the lariat he used to crush Kyoshima Yosuken on 5/31. Tsuji however telegraphed with an elbow... While briefly stunned, Akashi powered through the attack, before GORING INTO TSUJI WITH A LARIAT! Once more the crowd sensed the end, only to be stunned as Tsuji kicked out at 2.9! Finally, Akashi pulled out his last resort as he scaled the top rope backwards... After taking a deep breath, Akashi astonished the crowd as he leaped into the air, rotating perfectly before CRUSHING TSUJI WITH A MOONSAULT PRESS! With all of the air driven out of Tsuji's lungs, there was nothing left for him to kick out, as Akashi picked up the three count!

Korakuen Hall filled with chants of "A-KA-SHI!" as the winner dragged himself to his feet... As RYUJI tended to his fallen partner, Akashi spoke in front of the fans. He said that before leaving on his excursion, he admired Tsuji for his growth, even if he didn't agree with the path he chose, and was secretly jealous of what success Tsuji had achieved. He said he used his jealously as motivation to learn every bit of knowledge he could during his travels, but said he also worried of surpassing his rival in level... Oddly, he praised Tsuji, saying that wasn't the case, and said that he and Tsuji would continue to "level up" in the coming years...

- An eventful night came to its climax as Ryo Inoue stepped into the FURY ring for perhaps the final time, making what he states regardless of the outcome, will be his final defense of the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight title for the time being. His opponent however two days ago was not even in contention for the title, as Otsuo Kayusa was originally scheduled to face Inoue in a non-title match. However, after disposing of Kayusa's kouhai Norihiro Akashi on 6/10, Inoue chose to give FURY one final chance to take back their title. Korakuen Hall erupted in cheers as the challenger, Otsuo Kayusa made his way to the ring, set to "THE GAMBLER" by B'z. Kayusa appeared wearing brand new ring attire. No longer was Kayusa wearing the signature "STRONG RIDERS" amateur singlet. Instead, Kayusa sported black and red spats, along with a black fingerless glove on his right hand, assumable to protect his hand when using his deadly Uraken. With no top, Kayusa exposed his upper body for the first time in his career. The fans seemed surprised by Kayusa's true physique, as the singlet hit Kayusa's chiseled abdominal muscles... However, would the "Reborn Kayusa" be enough to stop the Terrorist?

Inoue's arrival was met with unanimous boos from the 2,350 fans in Korakuen Hall. The champion relished the role of villain as usual as he shot the crowd a cocky grin while hoisting the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight title above his head, garnering a GIGANTIC roar of boos. Before Inoue finally climbed into the ring, he held the belt towards Kayusa before pointing at it, as if to signify that this would be FURY's last chance... Finally, President Nishida lead the pre-match pageantry, leading to the playing of the Japanese National Anthem. Finally, it was time to fight.

As soon as the gong sounded, Korakuen erupted in chants of "KA-YU-SA!" Both champion and challenger however approached the start with some hesitation. Several times the two tried to engage, only to pull out at the last second, frustrating the crowd more and more each time. Finally, as the crowd reached a fever pitch, both men engaged, with the champion immediately grabbing an arm wringer, before transitioning into a hammerlock. Each time Kayusa tried to escape, Inoue would elevate Kayusa's hand before his back to add pressure. Finally, Kayusa managed to counter with a hammerlock of his own, before SHOVING the champion off into the ropes and slapping him in the back of the head, earning Kayusa a huge reaction! This insulted the champion, who shoved back, before throwing a lightning fast flurry of slaps to stun the challenger, followed by a series of knees to the body. Inoue then shot in, taking Kayusa to the mat with a double leg takedown. Inoue showed off his superb grappling skills by immediately transitioning to a mount position, where he proceeded to rain down a flurry of palms to Kayusa's head! However, Inoue's temper got the best of him, as palms quickly turned to PUNCHES, as closed fists rained down upon the challenger's skull! Referee Edd Sasaki quickly jumped in, and began ordering Inoue to stop. However, the champion refused, and continued to pummel Kayusa with illegal blows! Finally, Sasaki GRABBED INOUE BY THE HAIR TO PULL HIM OFF, earning Sasaki a GIGANTIC reaction from the Korakuen fans. However, he simply raised the ire of Inoue, who appeared to be using every bit of self-control in his body to keep himself from attacking Edd Sasaki... However, as Inoue turned around, he was immediately greeted by Kayusa, who GORED the champion, before HOISTING him over his shoulder, and DRIVING him to the mat with a wheel barrow throw, before mounting Inoue, and PUMMELING HIM WITH CLOSED FISTS! The Korakuen fans became even louder with support for the challenger. Sasaki remained impartial, as he ordered Kayusa to stop. While the challenger took advantage of Sasaki's five-count, he let up on the champion after four... Kayusa continued to assert his dominance for the next few minutes, as he tried to wear down the champion with several holds. However, after ushering Inoue into the corner, he made the mistake of giving Inoue breathing room, as he caught Kayusa with a boot to the face as Kayusa rushed in, before SPIKING the challenger on his skull with an ipponzeoi! Inoue suddenly surprised long time fans, as he reached deep into his repertoire by locking Kayusa deep in one of Inoue's old finishing holds, the Strangle hold Gamma! The fans immediately rallied to Kayusa's aid as Inoue applied severe pressure to the challenger's neck and shoulder. However, Kayusa refused to surrender, and mustered the strength to inch both he and Inoue towards the ropes, where he finally grasped the bottom rope with his foot for the break... The champion however refused to let up, and worked Kayusa over with more submissions, before eventually grounding him with the same sleeper hold Inoue used to submit Kayusa's kouhai Norihiro Akashi just two days earlier. Feeding off the support of the fans, Kayusa withstood the pain to fight his way back to his feet, where he managed to shove Inoue off into the ropes, before catching and HURLING Inoue overhead with a FRONT SUPLEX! As Inoue rolled to his stomach to get up, Kayusa cut him off by grabbing the champion around the waist, before dead lifting him up and TOSSING HIM ONTO HIS BACK WITH THE KARELIN LIFT! Instead of letting go however, Kayusa held on, before giving Inoue a SECOND KARELIN LIFT! Kayusa continued to mount offense, even pulling out a tribute to his friend and former partner Kyoshima Yosuken by driving Inoue's face into the mat with the CALF BRANDING! Moments later, Kayusa would try to pull out the Tiger Driver... Inoue however had other plans, as after a brief struggle, he countered with a shoulder throw, before catching one of Kayusa's arms and TRAPPING HIM IN A JUJIGATAME! With Kayusa's arm fully hyperextended, the challenger PANICKED as he screamed out in agony! He quickly calmed himself, before trying to clasp his hands together to alleviate the pressure... Inoue however would have no part of this, as he KICKED Kayusa's free hand away, allowing him to extend the limb once more! Finally, Kayusa managed to reach the ropes in his panicked scramble, but it was clear the damage had been done, as Kayusa began to heavily nurse his right arm. Like a cat teasing a mouse, Inoue took pleasure in kicking away at Kayusa's arm, before eventually dealing further damage with two consecutive shoulder arm-breakers. As the match continued, Kayusa grew tired of Inoue's abuse, as he tried fighting back with elbows. However, with one kick to the arm, Inoue would immediately shut him down... Finally, Inoue aimed to finish the match with a flurry of blows targeting Kayusa's body and injured arm. With the challenger stunned, Inoue swung violently, aiming to crush Kayusa's jaw with the Dynamite Right hand that sank Kazuma Fujita on 5/31... However, Kayusa BLOCKED the shot, before spinning and CRACKING INOUE ACROSS THE JAW WITH THE URAKEN! The fans ERUPTED as Kayusa immediately fell to a kneel while clutching his arm. The champion stood their stunned for a moment, before slowly collapsing onto one knee, followed by falling onto his back! Kayusa took his chance as he rolled on top of the champion. However, to the disappointment of the 2,350 fans, Inoue showed true guts by kicking out of the jaw-shattering Uraken at 2.5! With one arm, Kayusa did his best to stay on Inoue as he pulled him up. With all of his strength, he hooked the champion, before lifting him high into the air, and SPIKING him with the OLYMPIC-ASP! With a second rush of adrenaline pumping through his veins, Kayusa leaped to his feet, before grabbing Inoue as he climbed to his feet, suplexing him once more a third Karelin Lift! As Inoue got to his knees, Kayusa grabbed him by the waist, before dead lifting the champion, and FOLDING HIM IN HALF WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX HOLD! The fans counted along, praying for this to be the end... But once more, the defiant Ryo Inoue refused to lose, and showed he was still a threat, as he landed across Kayusa's body after kicking out, allowing him to LOCK IN A CHICKENWING ARMLOCK!! The Korakuen fans ERUPTED in concern as Kayusa kicked his feet in sheer agony. Kayusa appeared to be considering submitting, until a roar of "KA-YU-SA" chants spawned from the fans, urging Kayusa to fight on! With their support, Kayusa managed to reach the ropes once more for the needed break! Finally, the champion was growing impatient as the match passed its twenty-minute mark. Once more, Inoue unleashed a vicious flurry of strikes upon the challenger, before finally BLASTING KAYUSA WITH THE DYNAMITE RIGHT HAND!!! The sickening blow echoed through out Korakuen as the fans shrieked in horror... Kayusa stood motionless for a brief moment, appearing to be unconcious... However, a flicker of Burning Spirit yearned in his eyes, as he CRACKED INOUE ONCE MORE WITH A SECOND URAKEN!!! This time, Inoue's body was sent CRASHING to the mat, as Kayusa himself needed to hold himself upright using the ropes... With Inoue laying motionless, Sasaki screamed, "...DOWN!!!" as he began to COUNT INOUE OUT! The fans ERUPTED in cheers, and counted along with Sasaki, who reached three without Inoue moving one inch. In the corner, Kayusa looked on with an anxious look on his face... It seemed that Inoue would be down for the count as Sasaki reached six... However, the moment Sasaki reached seven, something awoke within Inoue, who slowly dragged himself up using the ropes at the count of NINE. However, it was clear that Inoue was still not all together... With his remaining strength, Kayusa ROARED to the fans as he slowly approached Inoue... With his injured right hand pumped, Kayusa RIPPED OFF THE PROTECTIVE GLOVE, EXPOSING HIS BARE KNUCKLES. With one final cry, Kayusa used all of his remaining strength into one final blow, CRACKING INOUE ACROSS THE JAW WITH A BARE-FISTED URAKEN!!! Inoue crumbled to the mat, as Kayusa collapsed onto the champion! With the 2,350 fans counting along, Edd Sasaki dove to the mat, COUNTING THE THREE!!!

Korakuen Hall was overcome by deafening cheers, the likes Korakuen Hall hasn't seen in years as the cheers soon lead to unanimous cries of "KA-YU-SA!" Wrestlers hit the ring, as Norihiro Akashi and Kenichiro Hujikawa rush to Kayusa, while Yuichi Miwa and Yusaku Kitajima rushed to Inoue... It was clear that Inoue was still unconscious, forcing them to carry a stretcher to the lead. As they carefully loaded him on, Kayusa was helped to his feet, as the Korakuen fans met him with even more cheers... As the realization set in, Kayusa was overcome with emotion, as he collapsed onto both knees, burying his head in his hands. Finally, Kayusa exposed his face, CRYING out in teary-eyed excitement. Rarely to show such emotion, Kayusa was quick to compose himself... President Hiroshi Nishida awarded Kayusa his prizes, before handing him the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight title, bringing a smile to Kayusa's face from ear-to-ear. As Kayusa finally got the chance to address the crowd, Inoue finally was carried from the ring... Kayusa was asked whether Inoue was as strong as he thought. Without hesitation, Kayusa said with little breath, "...STRONGER!" Kayusa went on to say that he never believed a day such as this would come for him, as he had resigned himself to being an Ace in the tag team ranks, and not in the singles. However, he said that his love for FURY motivated him through out this match, and said that as a FURY wrestler, he would never fail when his back was against the wall... Suddenly, the fans erupted in commotion, as Inoue FOUGHT HIS WAY OFF THE STRETCHER! Slowly, Inoue stumbled his way back into the ring, before getting straight into the new champion's face... After an intense stare down. The former champion broke the intense atmosphere by SHAKING KAYUSA'S HAND. Further more, Inoue went on to fasten the belt around Kayusa's waist, earning him a unanimous round of applause before making his leave... Kayusa closed, saying that as F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion, he would continue to carry the dreams of his friends, and fans on his shoulders...
