[Results] "BREAK BLOW Vol. 8," 12/04/2009 @ Shinjuku FACE

- Tonight in Tokyo, Shuji Kido became the #1 contender to Producer Hiroaki Nakata's WWA National Heavyweight title in winning a one-night tournament, beating WFW's Daisuke Yamazaki, FURY's Shuji Kido, and finally Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's Naoki Daishi in a fiercely competitive tournament final. Kido would first face off against Daisuke Yamazaki, who proved to be a difficult task for Kido. In the end however, Kido was able to submit Yamazaki with a nasty cross armbreaker. Kido would next face FURY's Manabe Tsuji in something of a grudge match. The two have traded wins on prior BREAK BLOW cards, with tonight being Kido's night. His finals opponent Naoki Daishi had a much easier trek to the finals as he earned a bye to the semi finals due to random draw. In his semi finals match, he decimated Indy favorite Hiromi Hasegawa in only three-minutes after spiking him on his head with the Northern Lights Bomb. When it became clear Hasegawa was unconscious, Referee Ed Sasaki brought a stop to the match, awarding Daishi the win via TKO... As mentioned, the finals between the two was a fierce technical battle. After several close calls, Kido managed to edge Daishi out using Hiroaki Nakata's own Dragon Suplex hold to pin Daishi's shoulders to the mat! After the match, Kido called out Producer Nakata and officially challenged him for 12/21. Of course, Nakata accepted, saying he looked forward to facing Kido in a “big match” environment.
