[Results] 1/08/2010 @ Korakuen Hall

- Pro-Wrestling FURY kicked off its 2010 year in front of a packed house in Korakuen for the first show of a Korakuen Hall double header. The show opened as Go Taniguchi faced the spirited “Greco Superman,” Mamoru Sekishima in something of a revenge match after Sekishima scored the pinfall over Taniguchi in a tag match on 12/21. While taking some lumps along the way, Go was able to pay Sekishima back, showing that the gap in experience was too far after he cradled Sekishima with a schoolboy for the pin.

- In the second match, UPRISER'Z members Daisuke Iwata and YAKUTA scored a win over the NEW FORCE duo of Etsuya Kawachi and Kamon. The former JET GENERATION members set a fast pace for the match, making it almost impossible for Iwata and YAKUTA to keep up. YAKUTA however was able to level the playing field, albeit by using a kick to Kamon's groin behind the referee's back, allowing him to spike Kamon with the Ace Driver for the victory!

- In the semi final, the unnamed heel trio of Yoshihiro Shimoda, ATSUKA, and Kyoto Okazaki overwhelmingly defeated F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Jet Jaguar, Kotaro Ota, and Fumihiko Shirai after Okazaki drilled Shirai into the canvas with the Otokogoroshi. The villainous trio continued their assault after the match before finally leaving their opponents laying. On the microphone, Jet Jaguar vowed revenge against the three...

- For the second year in a row, FURY held its annual New Years Heavyweight battle royal, involving every heavyweight wrestler on the roster. The match was mostly comedy early on, with Kazuma Fujita being pinned by five different people within the first thirty-seconds of the match. It finally came down to two as Masato Osagawa faced off against TAKU. The two engaged in a high-spurt five-minute exchange where they traded near falls, along with near eliminations. In the end however, TAKU was able to duck Osagawa's lariat, before sending him tumbling over the ropes and onto the floor with a lariat of his own! After the match, TAKU, along with the other members of UPRISER'Z occupied the ring with the microphone. TAKU reiterated much of his speech from 12/21, declaring that UPRISER'Z would have a monopoly over FURY's championships this year. However, he announced that he would immediately set his sights on the title held by his former partner, the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion Naoki Fukuda! TAKU nominated himself as Fukuda's first challenger, drawing a roar of cheers from the fans. This finally brought out Fukuda (who was eliminated second in similar fashion as Fujita...) Before he could address the situation however, MASATO OSAGAWA returned to the ring, pulling the microphone out of TAKU's hands! Hot headed, Osagawa declared that TAKU did not deserve a title match, but instead HE should be the first to get a crack at Naoki Fukuda, citing him scoring several big wins in the F-MAX Summit tournament past November, including against the 2008 winner Tetsuhisa NAKAI, and the last F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion Otsuo Kayusa! Fukuda said that he wanted to face only the strongest, and suggested that both men face off in a #1 contenders match. Interim President Kazuma Fujita agreed, and made the match official for next month's Korakuen event on 2/05.
