[10/18/2008] FURY News & Notes

- Okazaki and Kaiju were successful in retaining their PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag titles against Nansei's Wataru Yamada & Keisuke Rongai. However, the two Nansei warriors took the villainous duo to the limit, as the match lasted an astoninishing FORTY-FIVE minutes, before finally Kaiju finished Yamada with a Diving Body press.

Drama continued after the match, as Kaiju got into a verbal argument with Nansei Ace GALLEON, who demanded a title match against Okazaki and Kaiju. When Kaiju asked which "green boy" (rookie) would aid him, GALLEON revealed his partner would be FURY's own JET JAGUAR! The champion's verbally agreed to the match, but the match has yet to be officially signed off on by President Nishida.

- GO FOR THE GOLD NANSEI! ~ PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Titles: Shin Kaiju [FURY] & Kyoto Okazaki [FURY] beat Wataru Yamada & Keisuke Rongai (45:11) when Kaiju used a diving body press on Yamada in their V2 defense.

- While the thirty-two men that will compete in November's F-MAX Summit remain a secret, the company has released the outline of the tournament. The first round will take place on the first four shows, with the following round being decided on 11/14 and 11/15 in Hyogo and Kyoto respectively. Then, on 11/18, the final four will be decided, with the tournament semi finals and grand finals being held at the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium on 11/20.

The duo will unfortunately not take part in the F-MAX Summit tournament, but they will work every date, showing what they can do against some of the top teams in FURY.
