- For the first time in company history, Pro-Wrestling FURY traveled across international waters to hold the very first Pro-Wrestling FURY event on American soil, as over seven-hundred American fans crowded into the Armory in Burbank, California. Due to FURY's continued relationship with American independent G-Shock Wrestling, FURY's name was quite known among hardcore fans, who turned out in droves to support this important event.
True to the promise of FURY President Hiroshi Nishida, FURY brought the authentic Japanese experience to the American fans, as both FURY ring announcer Eizo Hayakawa, and G-Shock Wrestling ring announcer Michael Rhodes entered the ring to jointly introduce the participants for tonight's matches. But before the show could kick off, Hayakawa and Rhodes both introduced Nishida himself, who received a respectful ovation from the American fans. Before Nishida could speak, chants of "FU-RY!" and "THANK YOU FURY!" erupted from the rowdy fans. Nishida simply smiled, while bowing his head in gracious acceptance... Finally, in slow, broken English, Mr. Nishida thanked the fans for their incredible support, and said that the passion of the fans have already made this show a success, and announced FURY's intentions of returning NEXT year!
- The show opened up with the first match of the night, giving American fans a taste of comedy, as Kinniku Kamen Nisei attempted to gain entry into the 20XX Chojin Olympics by facing the mysterious Terryman Nisei... While most American fans didn't understand the story behind the match, they immediately recognized GSW and CRIMSON star Jake Bishop under the Terryman Nisei guise... But never the less, Bishop did his best to play the role. The comedy surprisingly went over well with the American fans. Nisei put up a brave front, but constantly found himself evading "Terryman" just before the match could pick up, only to go hit on blond haired women on the outside... Eventually, Nisei reluctantly locked horns with Terryman, only to be immediately overwhelmed. Everything Nisei tried ended up failing, including the deadly "Kinniku Beam," which was nothing more than Nisei crossing his arms and shouting, "BEEEEEEEAAAAAAM!!!" Terryman "sold" the attack, before pulling out a mirror from his trunks, which caused the "beam" to "bounce off" and hit Nisei! In the end, Terryman caught Nisei in the dreaded Spinning Toe hold, forcing Nisei to submit... After the match, the American fans gave Nisei a warm response of applause, prompting Nisei to grab the microphone, and say in English, "HELLO! I AM KINNIKU KAMEN NISEI! I AM FROM PLANET KINNIKU! I LIKE BEEF AND RICE! THANK YOU!!!"
- In the second match, FURY united with G-Shock Wrestling, as Fumihiko Shirai tied up with the "So-Cal Sensation" himself, the high-flying Christian Lockheart to face the NEW FORCE tandem of Hidaka Kamon and Kazuki Sendo. The match was an enjoyable sprint, with all four getting their moments to shine. Shirai and Lockheart worked extremely well as a team, allowing them to eventually score the win over NEW FORCE, after Lockheart used his swan dive "So-Cal Hurricane" Hurricanrana on Sendo for the pin... After the match, Lockheart spoke on the microphone, putting over all three FURY wrestlers, before announcing his intention to tour with FURY in the coming months, promising to bring the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight title back with him to America!
- Up next was the first "all FURY" match of the night, putting Yoshihiro Shimoda, Shigeru Iwasaki and Kotaro Ota against the UPRISER'Z trio of Daisuke Iwata, RYUJI & Manabe Tsuji. Yoshihiro Shimoda surprisingly received a huge reaction from the American fans, showing how far Shimoda's reputation has come over the years. UPRISER'Z ambushed the mushozoku trio before the bell, earning them loud boos. Iwata obviously targeted Iwasaki, dragging him into a brawl on the outside. The wild fight resulted in Iwasaki actually getting cut open after being guillotined across the metal security railing... Later on, the mushozoku team came back, fighting off the villainous rule breakers, with the popular Yoshihiro Shimoda leading the fight. The bloody Iwasaki and Kotaro Ota managed to fight off Iwata and Tsuji, leaving just Shimoda and RYUJI in the ring. RYUJI looked impressive against Shimoda, especially after nearly scoring the fall after connecting with a Diving Headbutt. But after missing a second, RYUJI lost control of the match, with Shimoda eventually catching him with the Torokeru Knee Kick, giving the mushozoku trio the win! Shimoda spoke briefly in English afterwards, thanking the fans...
- In one of the best matches of the night, NEW FORCE clashed with STRONG RIDERS. Both teams were well received, but Akira Takayoshi received what would be one of the largest reactions of the nights, with chants of "A-CURE-AH! Akira didn't disappoint the American fans, using his Tiger Suplex to edge out Kyoshima Yosuken in the conclusion of a thrilling bout. Akira spoke briefly afterwards, and seemed to be genuinely touched by their ovation. He said that he would fight Kayusa this month in a singles match, and asked the fans to anticipate their meeting.
- After a brief intermission, the American fans were given a big treat, as KAZUMA FUJITA made a surprise appearance, garnering a huge ovation from the die-hard American fans. Even after Fujita's theme song faded, the chants continued... After the chants eventually settled, Fujita spoke what English he knew, thanking the fans for making tonight's show a success. Fujita then brought in a translator, who deciphered the rest of Fujita's speech. He apologized for not being able to wrestle tonight, but promised that he would wrestle in the American ring next year. The fans were given something of a tease, as GSW boss and former BSPW gaijin Stevie C. appeared in the ring with Fujita. The two shook hands, as Japanese photographers snapped shots... Stevie also thanked Fujita and Pro-Wrestling FURY, and jokingly said that he would consider coming out of retirement next year to face Fujita, which earned a HUGE reaction. Fujita nodded, before speaking in English, "Thank you, my friend!"
- In the semi final, UPRISER'Z clashed against the Mushozoku team of Tetsuhisa NAKAI, Hiroaki Nakata, ATSUKA and YAKUTA. In the end, it would be NAKAI who would score the fall over Kyoto Okazaki after his deadly lariat. Sore after their loss, TAKU stuck it to the American fans by decrying, "JAPAN NUMBER ONE!" ATSUKA however stole the microphone before saying, "WE ARE ALL ONE!" ATSUKA and TAKU had a brief exchange in Japanese, hyping up ATSUKA and YAKUTA's chance at TAKU and Mastodon Fukuda's F-MAX Tag Team titles. ATSUKA finally clued in the American fans, saying in English, "We will take your belts!"
- We came to the night's main event, as the world-traveled Norihiro Akashi faced off in one of the biggest matches of his career, against the charismatic man from Thunder Bay, Ontario, and the GSW Heavyweight Champion, "The Greater" Marcus Dixon. For the first time, the Japanese cameras got a look at the "new" Norihiro Akashi, who featured a bronze tan, long black hair, and nearly 15 kilograms of muscle! The match was paced slow early on, with the arrogant champion challenging Akashi in a series of exchanges on the ground. In the end, the Japanese challenger impressed the fans by not just keeping up, but out wrestling Dixon, causing him some frustration during the early going. Dixon finally had enough, and began to take shortcuts to gain control of the match. The physically imposing Dixon looked incredible in his technique, and threw Akashi around. But not to be outdone, Akashi showed the American fans true "Burning Spirit" by fighting back with a flurry of elbows and chops, before eventually catching the champion with a VICIOUS release German Suplex! As the match continued, the pace picked up, with the rowdy American fans eating it all up. After the eighteen minute mark, Dixon began to pull out some of his bigger moves, including the Superkick, which nearly knocked Akashi out! Akashi however fought back, demonstrating new techniques he had perfected in his travels, including a PERFECT Moonsault press for a near fall! With the fans on the edge of their seats, the match went into its final inning, as both men desperately tried to hold onto the match. Dixon pulled out three consecutive Superkicks, before SPIKING Akashi with a modified Scrap Buster, only for the challenger to kick out at 2.999! As he went for a second Scrap Buster, Akashi fight back with a VICIOUS Fujita-style lariat, causing the fans to jump out of their seats in excitement! Akashi went for the kill, as he folded Dixon in half with a BRUTAL German Suplex hold... But after Dixon managed to kick out, Akashi rolled through into a standing position, before locking his arms around Dixon's, leading to the AKASHI TRAP! But somehow, the champion managed to kick out at 2.999! With the fans in a frenzy, Akashi pulled Dixon up for one final Akashi Trap... But before he could lock Dixon's arms in place, the champion countered with a blatant back groin kick! Dixon whipped Akashi off into the ropes once more, before aiming for another Scrap Buster... But in mid-move, Akashi managed to land behind Dixon, before grabbing him and SPIKING HIM IN HALF WITH A BACKDROP HOLD! With every last ounce of breath driven from the champion's body, the referee counted the three! The American fans ERUPTED with cheers and applause as both men laid prone. As the applause died down, chants of "MATCH OF THE YEAR!" followed. Akashi was tended to by his STRONG RIDER seniors, who proudly thrusted him up onto their shoulders in celebration... Akashi broke down into tears as he was awarded the GSW Championship title. Kayusa praised Akashi in Japanese, while an interpretor translated for the American fans.
As the show came to its end, the ring filled up with a majority of the FURY roster... President Nishida once more thanked the fans, and explained the "3! 2! 1! FURY!" call. In the end, the new GSW Heavyweight Champion, Norihiro Akashi led the crowd in the call, bringing the show to its end.
