- While the FURY roster enjoys a short, but much deserved beach vacation in Okinawa, the company has announced the first lineup for its 8/11 Ryogoku Kokugikan event, in addition to the full lineups for 8/01, 8/03, and 8/04 events.
The main event of the 8/01 Osaka event will see REAL-ONE collide with UPRISER'Z in a Naniwa-style Elimination match. As always, the match will begin with one wrestler from each time, with a new wrestler entering the ring every ninety seconds. The first team that will get a new wrestler will be determined via rock, paper, scissors before the match, and the order will alternate after the first new wrestler enters. Wrestlers can be eliminated via pinfall, submission, or ring out. After all eight wrestlers have entered the ring, the match will resume normal elimination tag rules.
Nansei Nihon Pro-Wrestling's GALLEON will also return to the FURY ring to reform the DREAM HEROES team with Jet Jaguar, as they will face the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Shin Kaiju, along with "The Outlaw" Kyoto Okazaki. The match will be the first of three preliminary tags Jaguar and Kaiju will have before their all-important F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight title/Mascara contra Mascara main event on 8/11.
Moving on to 8/11, FURY has confirmed four matches so far. Aside from the previously announced main event between Kaiju and Jaguar, Hiroaki Nakata will make his V2 defense of the WWA National Heavyweight title, defending against Yoshihiro Shimoda. Shimoda challenged Nakata following the 7/24 BREAK BLOW event, and capitalized his challenge with a fierce kick to the side of Nakata's head. During tonight's Okinawa event, Nakata fired back, saying that Shimoda has always been his "kouhai" (Junior), and would be treated as such on 8/11...
Also, after verbally agreeing to the match on 7/17, Akira Takayoshi and Naoyuki Watanabe will finally make their V1 defenses of the F-MAX Tag Team titles, defending against two men who have held the belts in the past in different times, the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion Otsuo Kayusa and Chikao Kessin. This big match will also serve as a lead in to Kayusa's V2 defense of his title against Akira Takayoshi, now confirmed for 8/19 in Akira Takayoshi's hometown of Fukuoka!
Finally, coming off of the bout between Mamoru Sekishima and Superstar Pro-Wrestling's Takeshi "BASH" Yamada on 7/24, FURY has signed a huge Teacher/Student tag team match, as "Mr. 300%" Kazuma Fujita will team with Sekishima against "The Superstar" Jason Ramsey, and Yamada! Fujita and Ramsey will reunite under the bright lights of Ryogoku!
