- FURY kicked off its August series from its home in Osaka in front of a packed house of 2,000 fans. The show opened with a match pitting Go Taniguchi against rookie Mamoru Sekishima. the "Greco Superman" Sekishima threw some heavy blows at the veteran, but would be unable to finish him. Taniguchi actually had a hard time finding the right attack to put Sekishima away himself, before finally clamping on the "rookie killer," crab hold. Sekishima at first was able to use his leg strength to escape. But when Taniguchi locked it in for a second time, Sekishima was forced to submit. Sekishima received a big reaction from the Osaka crowd afterwards, as he bowed respectfully to all four sides of the ring.

- The next match saw the in-ring return of Kotaro Ota after suffering a leg injury last month in the J1-MAX League tournament as he and Fumihiko Shirai faced the NEW FORCE duo of Etsuya Kawachi and Kazuki Sendo. The match was the typical fast-paced affair, with both teams trading control. Ota however made a bold statement towards the end of the match. After scoring a near fall over Kawachi with the Violent Spark, he caught Kawachi in the corner with a jumping knee, followed by a backdrop lift into a modified facebuster! As Kawachi got to a knee, Kawachi BLASTED HIM under the chin with a brutal savate kick to the jaw! The shot knocked Kawachi out long enough for Ota to pick up the three count, giving the Okinawa Speed Stars the win! After the match, Ota apologized for his absences as of late, and said that the time off allowed him to recover in both body and mind.

- In the night's fifth bout, NEW FORCE collided directly with Ooinaru Waza in a preliminary skirmish before Akira Takayoshi and Naoyuki Watanabe defend their F-MAX Tag Team titles against the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion Otsuo Kayusa and Chikao Kessin on 8/11 in Ryogoku. While Osaka witnessed some fierce exchanges between all four men, it would be Yoshihiro Shimoda who would score the victory for 'Waza' after catching Hidaka Kamon with the Torokeru Knee Kick. Shimoda did this in front of WWA National Heavyweight Champion Hiroaki Nakata, who watched the bout from ringside. Shimoda said that even though he is a junior, he would show Nakata the "strength of a Super Heavyweight" on 8/11...

- In the semi final, the DREAM HEROES reunited as Nansei Nihon's GALLEON returned to the FURY ring. With Jet Jaguar, the two faced Shin Kaiju and Kyoto Okazaki in a rematch of the 12/21/2008 match in Osaka where Jaguar and GALLEON became PWC Jr. Tag Team champions. It was a thrilling bout for the Osaka fans, who cheered on Jaguar and GALLEON rabidly through out. UPRIZER'Z fought the match with their usual heel style. There was extra emphasis on the mask play between Kaiju and Jaguar, who both at different times tried to unmask the other. Towards the end of this feverish sprint, GALLEON would catch Okazaki with his Genesic Clutch to cradle him just long enough for the three count!

Jaguar and Kaiju faced off after the match, drawing a huge ovation from the Osaka fans. Jaguar said that this would be his biggest match to date, headlining in Ryogoku, and said that he would not let down the fans. But more importantly, he would not let down the man who passed the Jet Jaguar mask down to him, Shoji Suzuki... Kaiju said he didn't care about the fans, nor "hand-me-downs" from Suzuki, and said that he would crush Jaguar in dominant fashion just as he always has. In fact, Kaiju said he was so confident about winning that he vowed to RETIRE if he was unmasked! This got an event bigger reaction from the fans.

- REAL-ONE battled UPRISER'Z in a fierce Naniwa-style Elimination match in the main event tonight. As per the rules, two men would start the match, with one team getting a new wrestler every ninety-seconds. The order of which team would enter would be determined by a pre-match game of rock, paper, scissors... REAL-ONE sent out its big gun immediately, as NAOKI FUKUDA entered first. UPRISER'Z immediately begun with the mind games as TAKU teased entering first. But instead, he would return to the back, before sending Manabe Tsuji out. However, Fukuda wouldn't have to wait long, as TAKU entered ninety-seconds later. Both he and Tsuji double teamed Fukuda for about thirty-seconds, until Fukuda began to make a comeback after ducking a lariat attempt from Tsuji. Fukuda went after TAKU, catching him against the ropes with a lariat! The force of the blew sent both men flying over the ropes and onto the ring apron. Both men traded blows back and fourth, until Tsuji finally tried to knock Fukuda off the apron. Instead however, Fukuda moved TAKU in the way, causing Tsuji to smash into TAKU with a forearm. However, as TAKU began to fall back, he grabbed onto Fukuda's waste, pulling him off with him, causing both men to be eliminated!

While TAKU and Fukuda continued their brawl, Shigeru Iwasaki entered next for NEW FORCE. The one-on-one with Tsuji would turn to two-on-one ninety-seconds later as Tsuji's fellow PWC Jr. Tag partner RYUJI entered next. "OSAKA WILD STYLE" put the boots to Iwasaki for the entire ninety-second duration, until Jun Kobayashi finally entered for NEW FORCE, evening up the sides. The fans went wild as Kobayashi and Iwasaki sent the PWC Jr. Tag Champions reeling. They nearly scored an elimination after sending RYUJI over the ropes and onto the apron. However, thanks to a distraction from Tsuji, RYUJI was able to roll back into the ring from under the ropes... Daisuke Iwata entered next for UPRISER'Z, much to the pleasure of Shigeru Iwasaki, despite the fact that UPRISER'Z now had a three-to-two advantage. UPRISER'Z dominated the next period, with Kobayashi and Iwasaki trying their best to fight back. However, as they rallied back, Kobayashi climbed to the top rope. But before he could carry out his attack, Iwata shoved him off, knocking him to the floor for the ring out!

Kenichiro Hujikawa entered next for NEW FORCE, keeping the advantage at 3-2 for UPRISER'Z. Being the final entrant, the match shifted to a traditional elimination tag, with two legal wrestlers in the ring. NEW FORCE would thankfully even up the score a minute later, as Kenichiro Hujikawa caught Manabe Tsuji with the Axe Bomber K for the elimination! Hujikawa's momentum would be short lived however, after BLASTING Hujikawa with a kick to the groin, before cradling him with a backslide for the three count!

The match now came down to Shigeru Iwasaki facing Daisuke Iwata and RYUJI. Iwasaki did his best to fight their attack, but the odds appeared to be too much until RYUJI accidentally caught Iwata with an attack instead of Iwasaki! Iwasaki unleashed a flurry of kicks, before spiking RYUJI with the Cross Knell for the elimination, bringing the match down to Iwasaki and Iwata! The Osaka crowd was rabid was the closing minutes of the bout came down to these two hated enemies. Iwata tried every heel attack he could think of, only for Iwasaki counter at every turn. However, as Iwasaki went for the Cross Knell, Iwata escaped, before kneeing Iwasaki directly in the groin, setting up another Backslide! Iwasaki however had enough to kick out at 2.999! Iwata would then be forced to dust off the Assatsu Driver to drive Iwasaki on the top of his head to keep him down for the three, giving UPRISER'Z the victory!

Iwata, along with the other members of UPRISER'Z continued their attack on Iwasaki after the match, until the other members of REAL-ONE ran out to make the save. After fighting UPRISER'Z off, Naoki took the microphone, and said that the war between both factions were reaching a peak, and said that he wanted to face TAKU in a one-on-one match in Ryogoku. TAKU said he would only accept the match if it was "interesting." Fukuda then said he wanted to get TAKU in a match where the other members of UPRISER'Z couldn't interfere, before challenging TAKU to a STEEL CAGE DEATHMATCH. TAKU laughed, and said that was certainly "interesting," and ACCEPTED the match, and said that the cage suited two wild animals... Shigeru Iwasaki however had his own challenge, as he demanded Daisuke Iwata face him in a singles match in Ryogoku as well. Iwata accepted, only under the condition that the match will be a FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE match! Without hesitation, Iwasaki accepted, making both matches official for 8/11!
