- Pro-Wrestling FURY posted an updated card for its 8/11 Ryogoku Kokugikan event. The show will be the first "big match" event since the 5/31 Kyocera Dome spectacular.
As confirmed after today's Osaka event, REAL-ONE and UPRISER'Z will go to war in two eagerly anticipated grudge matches. First, Shigeru Iwasaki will square off against his former friend and partner Daisuke Iwata in what both men are calling the climax of their blood feud. The two will fight in an Falls Count Anywhere match, where the fight will surely drag all over the legendary Ryogoku Kokugikan.
In addition, Naoki Fukuda will do battle with former partner TAKU in the unforgiving confines of a steel cage! This type of match has been reserved for only the most violent of blood feuds, as inn the seven year history of this company, the steel cage deathmatch has only been used five times.
While the main event between Shin Kaiju and Jet Jaguar has been known since the J1-MAX Finals, Shin Kaiju upped the ante after announcing to the Osaka crowd that if he was unmasked, he would RETIRE from pro-wrestling! This has generated much buzz on Japanese BBS forums, as now Kaiju is not just betting his F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight title and his mask, but his very CAREER! This match is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated matches in Pro-Wrestling FURY history!
