- Pro-Wrestling FURY kicked off its fourth Sakura Tag Festival in front of a packed house in Tokyo's JCB Hall. As the show began, all twelve teams were introduced one-by-one by President Hayakawa. Every team was given a chance to speak out on their chances. Among the most interesting comments were Tom Sawyer, who attempted to shill his “Tom Sawyer Wrestling Buddy.” The invaders from DYNAMITE, Goro Iijima and Niwatori Ogawa said they were not impressed by the level of competition, and said they would simply do they wanted...
- In the first tournament match, Tetsuhisa NAKAI and Norihiro Akashi scored their first two points over Masato Osagawa and Mamoru Sekishima. Despite putting up a strong fight early on, Osagawa suffered at the hands of his less-experienced partner, as Akashi used a picture-perfect Moonsault press to secure the victory.
- In the next tournament bout, “KobaKen” scored a decisive victory over Daisuke Iwata and YAKUTA. The two had to deal with Iwata and YAKUTA's heel ways over on. They were able to comeback towards the end, before Kobayashi used the Splash Mountain to pin Iwata.
- “WORLD STYLE” aimed to raise their stock within FURY's tag division, and took a big stride tonight in defeating the REAL-ONE team of Naoki Fukuda and Shigeru Iwasaki. The two showed off great team work, before Tsuji used the Guts Coaster to secure the pinfall over Iwasaki...
- The Neo Baka Machineguns battled Hiroaki Nakata and Shuji Kido in what would become a fierce ten-minute match. In the end, Go Taniguchi would catch Kido with a HARD boot to the face, leading to the Tama Tama Drop for the three count, giving the Neo Baka Machineguns their first set of points in the tournament.
- In the semi final, the “Tag Team Masters” met “JOKERS WILD,” Goro Iijima and Niwatori Ogawa. The invading team attacked before the bell, before dragging both Kayusa and Kessin to the outside. The wild brawl continued until Kayusa and Kessin finally brought both men back to the ring. Unfortunately, the match flew out of control immediately. Ogawa and Iijima both choked and attacked Kayusa in the corner, prompting Referee Fuwa to call for the break. When Fuwa reached from, both men still refused to break. After another warning, Fuwa was finally shoved to the mat by Ogawa, forcing him to call for the disqualification!
- Ogawa and Iijima continued their assault, until Chikao Kessin finally returned to the ring. He immediately grabbed hold of Iijima, before SPIKING HIM with the Sekai Ichi no Backdrop! Ogawa quickly fled the ring, before pulling his partner to the outside with him...
- In the main event, former F-MAX Tag Team Champions Akira Takayoshi and Naoyuki Watanabe faced Canadian imports Tom Sawyer and Lucas Harper, “The Foreshadowing.” The Japanese fans gave the visiting Canadians a warm reception, with many of the female fans seemingly infatuated with Tom's boyish good looks... The Tokyo fans were thrilled with the level of competition between both teams. Nothing was held back from either team. The early going saw a constant struggle for control. TakaNabe eventually took over on offense, and controlled the tempo for the first couple of minutes. The Foreshadowing soon came back however, and used their pinpoint teamwork to pull off an incredible upset towards the end, after Harper caught Watanabe with a HARD savate kick to the stomach, allowing Sawyer to connect diving guillotine, SPIKING WATANABE FACE FIRST INTO THE MAT! The sequence was enough to knock Watanabe out, allowing Harper to pick up the three count, giving The Foreshadowing their first two points of the tournament over the defending champions!
