Biography: He grew up in life admiring the hero's of pro-wrestling. Through out his youth, he wasn't interested in any sports, but still had a secret passion for pro-wrestling. After competing in an open tryout for UJPW in 1997, he failed to impress the company, but did impress Kazuma Fujita. Fujita took Okazaki under his wing as Okazaki became Fujita's ring boy and eventually Fury student. He had his first pro-wrestling match against fellow student Masafuji Yoshida on the FURY Exhibition show with Okazaki winning the different styles fight. On FURY's first official card, Kyoto Okazaki teamed with FURY Ace Hiroaki Nakata to fight the rudo tag team of the Visual Spirits with the FURY Tag team titles on the line. With help from ZERO Kubota, The Visual Spirits escaped with the titles... Kyoto's legal name is "Kyoko". He was named that when he was born after his parents mistaken another female baby as their son. He changed the name to "Kyoto" early in his career to avoid further embarressment... In early 2004, Kyoto reached his peak in winning the KFD Jr. Heavyweight championship. Okazaki underwent a massive change in character after forming the heel UPRISER'Z unit. His new outlook led him to win the 2007 J1-WORLD League tournament. Okazaki's rebirth climaxed by winning the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight title in October of 2007.
