- Pro-Wrestling FURY continued with its second night at Korakuen Hall, drawing another packed house. Before official bell-time, the stars of Tokyo independent FULL SPEED took the stage, entertaining the fans with a thrilling, fast-paced lucharesu sprint with Masakatsu Irie and Takashi “TK” Komatsu facing FULL SPEED's heel “666” team of Darkness! Kitty and Abracadabra. The match was practically nonstop, with bodies flying all over the ring. Eventually, the heel team secured the upper hand, with the veteran Darkness! Kitty scoring near falls over Komatsu with the Darkness Bomber, followed later with the Cat Nap. However, their opponents were able to rally with the help of Masakatsu Irie, who bravely fought off both heel's advances with kicks and elbows, before ultimately trapping Abracadabra in a flying cross armbreaker, forcing him to tap out! Irie briefly spoke afterwards, thanking Pro-Wrestling FURY for allowing them to showcase their talents in Korakuen Hall, and asked fans to please attend their upcoming dates through out January.
- The first official match of the night saw the rookie team of Tetsujin & Kinniku Kamen Nisei bravely facing the more experienced UPRISER'Z team of RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji. Before the match however, Tetsujin and Nisei both spoke to the fans, wishing them a Happy New Year. Tetsujin said that to celebrate the new year, he would wear the ceremonial mawashi he received during his high school days. Nisei on the other hand proudly showed off a recipe for “Chojin Gyudon (Beef Bowl)” he received from his parents... Tetsujin and Nisei fought hard early on, but were eventually outmatched by RYUJI and Tsuji, as Nisei was flattened after taking Tsuji's Guts Coaster... After the match, RYUJI and Tsuji took pleasure in mocking Tetsujin and Nisei, calling them “weak.” RYUJI also ripped into the two, calling them “children” for hanging on to such “sentimental trinkets.” RYUJI claimed they would help “liberate” them as both he and Tsuji TOOK both Tetsujin's mawashi AND Nisei's Gyudon recipe! This, of course, made Nisei cry...
- 6th term Kazuma Fujita student Jun Kobayashi advanced upon the FURY ring for the first time tonight, teaming with STRONG RIDERS members Otsuo Kayusa and Kyoshima Yosuken against the UPRISER'Z trio of TAKU, Mastodon Fukuda and Daisuke Iwata. UPRISER'Z struck before the bell, with all three isolating Kobayashi as their target. The Korakuen fans rallied behind Kobayashi with calls and chants. Eventually, Kayusa and Yosuken were able to come to his aid, leveling the playing field. In the end, Kobayashi made a strong first impression, using a VICIOUS sliding elbow strike to nearly concuss Daisuke Iwata for the win. After the match, Fukuda said he would never accept a “tainted failure” like Kobayashi in the FURY ring.
- In the main event, seventeen Junior Heavyweights went at it for the 500,000 Yen prize. The battle royal had a unique cast of characters, even more so with the inclusion of the FULL SPEED wrestlers. Strange alliances were formed, as Shin Kaiju partnered with FULL SPEED's Darkness! Kitty to eliminate Hidaka Kamon early on. However, their partnership crumbled immediately, as Kaiju double crossed Kitty by lariating him over the top rope... Kinniku Kamen Nisei brought some comedy to the match, as he attempted to bargain with RYUJI to get his gyudon recipe back, offering to eliminate himself... RYUJI agreed, only after demanding Nisei pay him 500 yen... After eliminating himself, Nisei caught a wadded up piece of paper he assumed was the recipe. But as he unfolded the paper, it simply read, “Baka.” Nisei promptly cried some more... The final four came down to FULL SPEED's Masakatsu Irie, ATSUKA, Kyoto Okazaki, and Yoshihiro Shimoda. In another moment of comedy, Okazaki attempted to form an alliance with all four men after consecutively being turned down... Instead, Okazaki chose to allow the three to fight themselves. Amidst the confusion, Okazaki struck like a Viper, hitting Irie with the Colt Python, followed by the Otokogoroshi for his elimination. ATSUKA and Shimoda would finally join forces and aim to throw out Okazaki. However, their partnership quickly backfired after Shimoda caught ATSUKA with a stray Torokeru Knee, allowing Okazaki to throw him over the ropes... With the final two locked, both men put on a helluva sprint, exchanging several near falls. But in the end, Shimoda won out, as he trapped Okazaki in the Sapporo Lancer hold, securing the flash three count for the pin!
- Shimoda looked overjoyed to win, and graciously accepted his 500,000 Yen prize. When asked how he would spend the money, Shimoda laughed, and said he would be conservative with it... ATSUKA returned to the ring, and attempted to act as Shimoda's agent by taking 95%... Shimoda joked, and said he was okay with giving ATSUKA “ninety-five.” ATSUKA was excited, but quickly disappointed as he held out his hands and received a couple of coins, which amounted to 95 Yen (about 95 cents USD.)
