- Pro-Wrestling FURY made its final stop on its tour schedule before the 5/31 “DREAM + INFINITY V” mega show tonight in Korakuen Hall with a stacked lineup. In the opener, Daisuke Iwata and YAKUTA made short work of Masafuji Yoshida and Tetsujin, as Iwata submitted Tetsujin with a Cobra Twist six-minutes in. Iwata and YAKUTA continued to assault Tetsujin after the match, until REAL-ONE's Jun Kobayashi and Kenichiro Hujikawa ran out to chase the heels away! The two vowed that with Shigeru Iwasaki, they'd make Iwata, YAKUTA, and Kyoto Okazaki pay on 5/31.

- In the second match of the night, RYUJI, Manabe Tsuji, along with Nobusan of RAGNARÖK defeated the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Jet Jaguar, along with Fumihiko Shirai and NEW FORCE's Kazuki Sendo. In the end, Nobusan would be too much for Shirai, who was finished after a nasty Brainbuster, followed by the Firebird Splash. The drama continued to unfold after the match, As DYNAMITE's Goro Iijima and Niwatori Ogawa invaded once again, assaulting RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji with weapons! Among the confusion, Nobusan blasted Jaguar with a kick to the groin, before yanking off his mask! Nobusan said that FURY was no longer large enough for two masked wrestlers, and promised to run Jaguar out of FURY after taking his mask!

- RAGNARÖK continued their winning ways as Tetsuhisa NAKAI and Kyoto Okazaki defeated OOINARU WAZA's Norihiro Akashi and Seiji Sasaki, after Okazaki finished Sasaki with the Otokogoroshi. After the match, Akashi once again challenged NAKAI to a match on 5/31. NAKAI changed his tune from yesterday, accepting Akashi's challenge, but said his focus right now would be on winning CRIMSON's POWER SOURCE tournament Tuesday night.

- Teacher met student in the next bout, as ATSUKA faced Kotaro Ota one-on-one in a very tactical battle. ATSUKA had the edge early on, holding nothing back against his former protege. Ota finally mounted a comeback after confusing ATSUKA as he came off the ropes, countering with a lariat! Both men exchanged rapid near falls towards the end. Ota finally got the edge, after BLASTING ATSUKA with the Satsugai Savate Kick to the face! Ota used everything he had to try and put down ATSUKA, including the Violent Spark. Every time however, ATSUKA would kick out just before three! Ota finally sized ATSUKA up for one final Satsugai... ATSUKA however blocked the shot, before nearly flash cradling Ota with the Viento Clutch! As ATSUKA scrambled to his knee, Ota met him, throwing a WICKED blade kick! ATSUKA managed to narrowly avoid the shot, only for Ota to follow through with his momentum, CRACKING ATSUKA on the jaw with a second Satsugai! The shot leveled ATSUKA, leaving him out long enough for Ota to pick up the three count!

After the match, Ota said that tonight proved that he had surpassed ATSUKA in skill, and vowed that he and Fumihiko Shirai would become F-MAX Jr. Tag Team Champions on 5/31.

- The next match, originally slated to involve Dusty Griffith had to be modified due to a schedule conflict with DEFIANCE Wrestling. Regardless, Otsuo Kayusa and Chikao Kessin of Ooinaru Waza won out over REAL-ONE's TAKU and Shigeru Iwasaki, as Kessin used a Scrap Buster to pick up the victory over Iwasaki... After the match, Kayusa and TAKU both spoke about the 5/31 F-MAX Tag Team title match. The two exchanged vague praise, recognizing each others strength. Kayusa said that nobody knew more about being F-MAX Tag Team Champion than him, and promised he and Dusty Griffith would lift the belts from TAKU and Go Taniguchi. TAKU welcomed the challenge, telling Kayusa to bring everything he had.

- Pro-Wrestling DYNAMITE, led by Tatsumichi Akamatsu entered FURY's ring tonight, picking up the victory over Hiroaki Nakata, Masato Osagawa and Mamoru Sekishima in the first of two preliminary skirmishes between Nakata and Akamatsu before their 5/31 rematch. In the end, the symbol of DYNAMITE, Tatsumichi Akamatsu picked up the pinfall over Sekishima after blasting him with the Jumping High Kick. After the match, Akamatsu said that he had waited an entire year to finally meet Hiroaki Nakata in the ring once more. Both wrestlers promised to hold nothing back, and display pure “RADICAL FIGHTING ART.”

- In the semi final, NEW FORCE battled CRIMSON's AVENIR faction led by C-1 Heavyweight Champion, Nobuyori Shimizu in a very special Captain's Fall Elimination match. As the rules state, the match follows normal elimination match rules, with the exception that the match ends if either of the team captain's are pinned or submitted. AVENIR came out swinging from the start, racking up their first elimination just a little under eight minutes after Hayato Saigo spiked Hidaka Kamon with a Brainbuster. AVENIR's luck continued four minutes later after Toshiro Noguchi eliminated Etsuya Kawachi after the Thunder Hammer... Things finally began to turn around for NEW FORCE, as Naoyuki Watanabe sent their first member of AVENIR packing after eliminating Noguchi with the Shining Kenka Kick. As the match passed 15:00, we were down to Akira and Naoyuki against Shimizu, Saigo, and Ikuji Royama. The match broke down towards the end, with Saigo pulled off a breath taking moonsault from the post, onto Watanabe AND Ikuji Royama on the outside, leaving Takayoshi and Shimizu in the ring! Both men would repeatedly counter the other back and forth, showing similar skills. However, Shimizu eventually ducked Akira's lariat, before coming back with a WICKED Running Elbow Smash! Shimizu tried to seal the match with his “Tsuyosa” German Suplex... Akira however fought back, and managed to hold Shimizu in perfect place for Naoyuki Watanabe, who JUMPED off Akira's back, CRACKING Shimizu with a SHINING WIZARD! In one fluid motion, Akira reached down, before cradling Shimizu with the Samson Clutch! Akira pulled back on Shimizu's legs as he tried kicking out, but it was too late, giving Akira and NEW FORCE the victory!

After the match, Akira jokingly said he and Shimizu were now tied going into 5/31. Shimizu said that being C-1 Heavyweight Champion meant facing the strongest challengers from CRIMSON and beyond. He said that despite what Akuma Toyota said, it would be an honor defending the C-1 Heavyweight title on FURY's biggest show of the year. The two shook hands, before finally wishing one another luck.

- After a brief break, the steel cage was soon erected for our main event between REAL-ONE and CRIMSON's HEAVY WAR under the grounds of War Games... Kenichiro Hujikawa and Rui Kuriyama started the match off, exchanging blows for the first five minutes of the match. As per the pre-match coin toss, HEAVY WAR got the man advantage as Naoki Daishi entered, making it 2-on-1. Two minutes later, Jun Kobayashi entered to even things up. KobaKen were able to get the edge over Daishi and Kuriyama. However, HEAVY WAR team captain Akuma Toyota entered following the next two-minute interval, giving them the edge. Toyota decimated both Kobayashi and Hujikawa with consecutive lariats. Hujikawa fought back to his feet, and tried rushing Toyota, only for Toyota to send Hujikawa CRASHING face first into the steel cage! The cold steel was enough to lacerate Hujikawa, as well... Jun tried to jump in to save his partner, only to be caught by Rui Kuriyama's Scrap Buster. As Toyota continued to pummel Hujikawa, the two-minute duration finally ran up, as Naoki Fukuda made a mad dash to the ring. As he climbed in, both he and Toyota made an immediate B-line for one another, before engaging in a brutal exchange of elbows! Just as it appeared Fukuda was gaining momentum, both Daishi and Kuriyama cut him off from behind. However, after throwing Fukuda off into the ropes, Kuriyama and Daishi were both hit with a double lariat! Fukuda, along Kobayashi and the bloody Hujikawa all focused their attacks on Toyota. The three took turns on offense in the corner, before Hujikawa BLASTED Toyota with the Axe Bomber K, knocking him to the mat! Hujikawa went for the cover, only for Toyota to kick out at ONE! Daishi and Kuriyama finally recovered, facing off against both Fukuda and Kobayashi... In the center of the ring, Hujikawa continued to lay into Toyota with stomps. As Toyota sat up, Hujikawa came off the ropes, before throwing a HARD kick to Toyota's chest! Rather than fall over, Toyota grinned-and-bared it, challenging Hujikawa to try his luck once again... Hujikawa obliged after coming off the ropes... This time however, Toyota was ready, as he caught Hujikawa's leg! After getting to his feet, Toyota threw a WICKED lariat, nearly decapitating Hujikawa! The cover followed, with Hujikawa managing to escape at 2.5! While Daishi and Kuriyama held off Fukuda and Kobayashi, Toyota continued to lay into Hujikawa with closed fisted punches, opening Hujikawa's wound even more. Toyota finally lifted Hujikawa up in a Powerbomb position, before CRUSHING him against the steel cage! Rather than let go, Toyota held tight, before lifting Hujikawa back up, and racing across the ring to SMASH Hujikawa's body into the steel once again! With Hujikawa's body nearly limp, Toyota turned his body towards the center, before SPIKING Hujikawa's body into the mat! Rather than go for the cover, Toyota simply motioned to Referee Ed Sasaki, prompting him to check on Hujikawa... When it became clear he wasn't responsive, Sasaki had no choice but to call for the bell, ending the match!

Naoki and Jun immediately rushed over to Hujikawa's body after the match, as the ring doctor made his way into the ring. The atmosphere was awkward and tense while the doctor examined Hujikawa... Finally, after one of the cage walls was removed, Hujikawa was able to be helped from the ring, earning him a large round of applause... Back in the ring, Toyota asked if Naoki Fukuda was prepared to go through what his comrade just endured. Toyota followed, “I'm sorry to disappoint you then, because what you go through on 5/31 will be 1000x greater!” The F-MAX Heavyweight Champion returned to ringside after checking on Hujikawa... Fukuda said that by hurting his friend, Toyota has now made this personal. Toyota then picked up the blood-drenched towel the ring doctor used on Hujikawa, and said he was going to take it as a trophy. However, he said he would bring a fresh white one for Naoki Fukuda on 5/31... After Toyota left, Fukuda vowed revenge, and said he would show once and for all Pro-Wrestling FURY was the strongest.

- The Road to DREAM + INFINITE V officially kicked off tonight in Korakuen Hall, in front of an overfull crowd of 2,350 fans! As advertised, Tetsuhisa NAKAI came out to address the fans regarding his recent actions. He wasn't alone, however, as he was accompanied by Daisuke Iwata, YAKUTA, RYUJI, Manabe Tsuji, Yoshihiro Shimoda, ATSUKA, Kyoto Okazaki, and Nobusan... NAKAI, very cold in demeanor, said that he had no remorse for his actions against Norihiro Akashi, calling him a “spoiled punk.” As the fans slowly turned their favor against him, NAKAI fired back, saying that he no longer cared what other people thought of him, saying that they had only been holding him back since the very beginning of FURY. NAKAI said that over time, FURY had slowly become rotten to its core, and would now be reformed how he sat fit.

NAKAI then began to talk about his fascination with Norse mythology, reciting the events of Ragnarök, which depict a great battle resulting in the death of a number gods and deities. He said this was his vision of FURY's future, substituting gods for FURY's top stars, including Akira Takayoshi, Hiroaki Nakata, Otsuo Kayusa, Naoki Fukuda, and even rising stars such as Norihiro Akashi... He called himself, along with every other individual standing in the ring as “instruments of prophecy.” Finally, Daisuke Iwata and YAKUTA both slowly revealed a large banner, revealing “RAGNARÖK” as the units official name. NAKAI ended by shouting, “TO THE GODS OF FURY... PREPARE YOURSELVES!”

- In the first match of the night, Tetsujin faced off against Mamoru Sekishima in a battle of FURY's youth generation. Both men attacked with everything they had. Sekishima appeared to have the edge, using his added size and strength. Tetsujin however surprised many by taking everything Sekishima threw at him, only to come back! After a series of kesagiri chops, Tetsujin managed to hoist Sekishima up, and connect with the Tetsuotoshi, giving him the three count!

- RAGNARÖK official debuted as a unit in the next match, as YAKUTA and Kyoto Okazaki defeated NEW FORCE's Hidaka Kamon and Kazuki Sendo. The heels entered with new ring gear sporting the “RAGNARÖK” name and theme. Despite putting up a strong fight, Sendo's spirit and determination wasn't enough to beat Kyoto Okazaki, who flattened Sendo with the Otokogoroshi for the three count...

- RAGNARÖK continued their good luck in the next match, as ATSUKA, Yoshihiro Shimoda and Nobusan defeated F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Jet Jaguar, Kotaro Ota, and Fumihiko Shirai. The fast-paced sprint came to a sudden end after ATSUKA trapped Ota with the Viento Clutch just long enough to secure the three count... ATSUKA rubbed the victory into his former protege's face, prompting Ota to charge after ATSUKA, only to be restrained. On the microphone, Ota challenged ATSUKA to a singles match for next month's Korakuen on 5/16. ATSUKA laughed, and accepted Ota's challenge. In addition, both Shimoda and ATSUKA said that they would make a major announcement on FURY's 5/02 show in Kyoto...

- In the next match, Akira Takayoshi, Naoyuki Watanabe and Etsuya Kawachi of NEW FORCE defeated REAL-ONE's Naoki Fukuda, Jun Kobayashi and Kenichiro Hujikawa in a competitive six-man tag match. In the end, Akira would catch Hujikawa with the Tiger Suplex hold, giving NEW FORCE the victory... Then, all hell broke lose.

Within minutes of the result, a figure hit the ring, TACKLING Akira to the mat! The man was eventually pulled off, revealing Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's AKUMA TOYOTA. After being pulled off, Toyota rolled to the outside, where he grabbed the house microphone. Toyota said that it was a joke that Akira Takayoshi was challenging for CRIMSON's C-1 Heavyweight title, saying he refused to allow a FURY wrestler “dirty” the championship he rightfully never lost. This raised the ire of the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion, Naoki Fukuda, who took exception to FURY wrestlers being called “dirty.” Toyota promptly told Fukuda to “sit down,” saying that being F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion gave him no authority. Fukuda, referring to Toyota as “MVP,” said that he wouldn't allow any outsider to invade a FURY show and talk bad about his home promotion. The hostile banter between Fukuda and Toyota continued, until Toyota finally called Fukuda out, CHALLENGING HIM FOR THE F-MAX UNIFIED HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE! Toyota jokingly said that since CRIMSON is giving a FURY wrestler a title match, it's only appropriate that FURY returned the favor. Fukuda appeared intrigued, and said that he recognized Toyota as a very serious threat. However, he said that FURY's wrestlers were the highest, and would defeat any outside threat, and promptly accepted Toyota's challenge! Toyota smirked, and said that when CRIMSON won both title matches, it would prove their superiority!

- In the main event, RAGNARÖK made it 3-0 as Tetsuhisa NAKAI, Daisuke Iwata, RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji edged out the victory over OOINARU WAZA's Otsuo Kayusa, Chikao Kessin, Norihiro Akashi and Seiji Sasaki. Like their comrades, every RAGNARÖK member entered with new ring attire to reflect the RAGNARÖK theme. Unlike the others however, NAKAI entered carrying a large hammer straight out of Thor... The hammer actually came into play towards the end of the match, after NAKAI used it to take out Norihiro Akashi's right knee! Minutes later, RAGNARÖK secured the victory after Manabe Tsuji pancaked Seiji Sasaki with the Guts Coaster...

After the match, FURY's medical staff attended to Akashi's injury while RAGNARÖK celebrated their victory in the ring. NAKAI eventually took the microphone, and said that tonight was only the beginning... RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji spoke as well, issuing a challenge to the F-MAX Tag Team Champions, TAKU and Go Taniguchi... The champs appeared to confront their supposed challengers... Before they could speak up however, they would be cut off by Otsuo Kayusa, who too issued a challenge to the champions! Go, speaking rationally for once, suggested that both teams face off in a contest to determine the true #1 contender. Everyone agreed. Go finally suggested a checkers deathmatch between both teams. Nobody agreed. TAKU finally suggested a #1 contenders match for FURY's 5/02 show in Kyoto. When asked who his partner would be, Kayusa said that it would be a NEW MEMBER of Ooinaru Waza, sent personally from America by KAZUMA FUJITA! Of course, he will be revealed on 5/02.

[Results] 2/05/2010 @ Korakuen Hall

- FURY returned to the hallowed sanctuary of pro-wrestling, Korakuen Hall. In front of a capacity crowd, a #1 contender to Naoki Fukuda's F-MAX Unified Heavyweight title. But first, the show opened with a short, but spirited match as Naoyuki Watanabe and Kazuki Sendo of NEW FORCE faced the Young Lion team of Mamoru Sekishima and Tetsujin. Sekishima and Tetsujin were competitive early on, mostly due to the size and power of Sekishima. In the end however, it would be Kazuki Sendo who would surprise the much bigger Tetsujin with the 322 Clutch to secure the pinfall victory for his team.

- Up next was a special singles match pitting Tetsuhisa NAKAI's protege Ryuugo Nagashima against UPRISER'Z member Manabe Tsuji. Tsuji had the advantage early on due to his reckless heel style, leaving Nagashima little opportunity to fight back. Finally however, Nagashima was able to come back with a flurry of elbows, before scoring a near fall after a frog splash. Nagashima however went to the well once too often after attempting a second frog splash, allowing Tsuji to get his knees up. After a brutal spear to the midsection, Tsuji hoisted Nagashima up, before plowing him into the mat with the Guts Coaster for the three count. Despite the loss, Nagashima earned good marks from the fans for his Burning Spirit.

- UPRISER'Z continued to win in the following match, as the trio of Daisuke Iwata, YAKUTA, and RYUJI defeated the NEW FORCE team of Akira Takayoshi, Etsuya Kawachi, and Hidaka Kamon. The match was fierce competitive until RYUJI hit Kamon with a low blow, allowing him to scoop him up and drill him into the canvas with the Tombstone Driver, giving UPRISER'Z the victory.

After the match, it was formally announced that FURY would bring back “THE VERDICT” unit survival match for the 2/26 Fukuoka International Center card, where teams representing the four primary factions within FURY: NEW FORCE, REAL-ONE, OOINARU WAZA, and UPRISER'Z, with the last team eliminated being forced to disband. Daisuke Iwata noted that last year, it was them that forced CHAOTICS to disband (which Iwata apologized to YAKUTA for...) and said that they would do it again to one of the three other factions. Akira however rebutted, saying that 2/26 would mark the end of UPRISER'Z once and for all. Iwata smiled, and told Akira to try his best.

- “THE VERDICT” Unit Survival match was also brought up following the next match, as REAL-ONE defeated Ooinaru Waza in a pitched eight man tag. Fukuda said that due to his F-MAX Unified Heavyweight title match that night, he would be unable to represent REAL-ONE in the unit survival match. However, he said that he would place all of his faith into Jun Kobayashi, naming him the leader of REAL-ONE for that night. Kobayashi thanked Fukuda for believing in him, and vowed that REAL-ONE would live on well past 2/26. Kayusa also spoke, saying that the uncertainty of the match made him uneasy. He vowed that Ooinaru Waza would fight with everything it has to continue existing.

- Next, we had what would be Kazuma Fujita's final match as a FURY wrestler, as he and Masafuji Yoshida faced Hiroaki Nakata and Tetsuhisa NAKAI. All 2,350 fans gave Fujita an overwhelming ovation, nearly bringing Fujita to tears as he came to the ring. NAKAI however appeared to have no sympathy for his mentor, as he attacked him before the bell, garnering a loud round of boos. The match went back and fourth, with Fujita and Yoshida proving to be a very good team. In the end however, NAKAI would manage to stun the Korakuen fans after giving Fujita three lariats, before finally spiking Fujita on his head with the MAX BULLET to give he and Nakata the victory!

After the match, Fujita was met by most of the FURY roster in an emotional scene. One-by-one, each wrestler handed a bouquet of flowers to Fujita. That was until NAKAI stepped forward, as he SMASHED his bouquet of flowers over Fujita's head! On the microphone, NAKAI called Fujita “pathetic,” and said that he was “bored” of being a hero to the Japanese fans, and needed to “validate himself” in the United States as a “fake pro-wrestler.” The notion that Fujita was “fake” was enough to sent Fujita into a rage, forcing all of the wrestlers to keep both Fujita and NAKAI apart. NAKAI finally challenged Fujita to defend his and Keiji Takano's F-MAX Tag Team titles against he and Hiroaki Nakata. Fujita accepted, making the match official for the 2/26 Fukuoka International Center show. However, Fujita said that he would return to the FURY ring as a “Defiance Wrestler,” and would show NAKAI the strength of a “fake pro-wrestler.”

- Over the last couple of months, a fierce generation rivalry has been forming within FURY's Junior Heavyweight division, pitting the first generation wrestlers ATSUKA, Yoshihiro Shimoda, Kyoto Okazaki, and Nobusan against the new generation wrestlers, F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Jet Jaguar, Kotaro Ota, Fumihiko Shirai, and first generation sympathizer Shigeru Iwasaki. Tonight, that rivalry came to a head in a fierce eight-man tag elimination match. The new generation team aimed to make a statement immediately, as Kotaro Ota managed to hook Shimoda in his Michelada cobra triangle, forcing him to submit just five minutes into the match! The first generation team however managed to even it up about five minutes later, as Kyoto Okazaki small packaged Shigeru Iwasaki after a blatant low blow behind referee Akinori Fuwa's back. Just four minutes later, Nobusan helped to give the first generation team the edge after pinning Fumihiko Shirai following a nasty Brainbuster. Minutes later, Kotaro Ota was faced with a fierce battle against his former mentor ATSUKA. It had appeared that ATSUKA would be able to finish Ota, only for Ota to break free, and knock out ATSUKA with the Satsugai savate kick, making it a two-on-two situation with Jaguar and Ota against Okazaki and Nobusan. Unfortunately for the new generation team, Nobusan would eliminate Ota after a Brainbuster, followed by a Firebird Splash, giving he and Okazaki the two-on-one advantage against the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion, Jet Jaguar. Jaguar did his best against the odds, and came close to pinning Nobusan after throwing Okazaki out of the ring. However, Okazaki would quickly return, before giving Jaguar the Otokogoroshi for the final elimination!

After the match, Okazaki mocked Jaguar, saying that tonight proved that the first generation was the strongest. Okazaki then corrected himself, saying that they couldn't truly prove that until the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight title was lifted from Jet Jaguar, and announced that he was cashing in the title match he earned on 12/21, and would challenge Jaguar for the belt on 2/26. Kotaro Ota returned to the ring as well, demanding a match against Nobusan on 2/26. Nobusan refused, saying he had no interest in a singles match. However, he would be glad to face Ota in a tag. A six-man tag was made for 2/26, with Yoshihiro Shimoda, ATSUKA, and Nobusan on one side. Ota and Shirai both asked Iwasaki to team with them. Iwasaki however politely refused, saying his focus on 2/26 would be the Unit Survival match. Ota agreed, and apologized. After a couple of moments, Shirai took the microphone, and said he had a partner in mind...

- Finally, we would see just who would face Naoki Fukuda for the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight title as Masato Osagawa battled his former UPRISER'Z comrade TAKU under the confines of a No DQ rules match. Given such, it was no surprise when the match immediately got out of hand, with both men fiercely going at it outside of the ring, and into the crowd. TAKU sent a pack of fans scattering from their seat, before throwing Osagawa into a fleet of empty chairs. Those same chairs were then piled up on each other, with TAKU attempting to suplex Osagawa onto them. Osagawa however blocked TAKU's attempt, before using his strength to lift TAKU up, before dropping him on the chairs. Osagawa showed a mean streak that hasn't been seen since he unmasked as Shin Kaiju, as he used the time keepers hammer to bust TAKU's forehead open. Minutes later however, TAKU returned the favor after sending Osagawa crashing head first into the steel ring post, opening up a laceration on his forehead. After the eight-minute mark, the two finally returned to the ring after TAKU used the Jackhammer to score a two count. With the help of UPRISER'Z, TAKU soon had a table propped up in the corner. He tried to send Osagawa into it, only for Osagawa to counter. TAKU however managed to stop himself just before going into the table, only for Osagawa to spear him, sending both he and TAKU crashing through the table! After recovering, Osagawa went for the cover, only for YAKUTA to pull referee Edd Sasaki outside, breaking up the count! As Osagawa leaned over the ropes to scream at YAKUTA, both RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji attacked from behind, with Tsuji giving Osagawa the Guts Coaster, followed by RYUJI connecting with a diving headbutt. The two pulled TAKU across Osagawa, before throwing Sasaki back into the ring. Edd however, seeing the blatant interference REFUSED to count, earning a GIGANTIC reaction from the Korakuen fans! After being bullied into the corner by RYUJI and Tsuji, Sasaki finally reluctantly began to count, ONLY FOR OSAGAWA TO KICK OUT AT 2.5! Moments later, TAKU tried to finish Osagawa with the Chojin Bomber. Osagawa however ducked the attack, before cradling TAKU with a crucifix hold, NEARLY PINNING HIM! With blood pouring out of their heads, the two raging bulls faced off in center ring, testing each others spirit with headbutts, opening their wounds even more! TAKU later went for a lariat, with Osagawa countering with a Death Valley Bomb! Osagawa followed up with the Diving Body press, with TAKU kicking out at 2.5. Osagawa then connected with the Kaiju Lariat, securing yet another near fall. Osagawa tried to finish TAKU with the Last Ride, only for TAKU to struggle, buying time for Kyoto Okazaki and ATSUKA to interfere from behind. Finally however, Osagawa would be given some aid as Jet Jaguar, Kotaro Ota and Fumihiko Shirai ran in, taking Okazaki and ATSUKA out with dropkicks, sending them flying over the ropes. As both got to their feet, Fumihiko Shirai came leaping over the ropes onto the two with a tope con giro! Back in the ring, Osagawa laid TAKU out with a flurry of Kaiju Hammers, before climbing to the top once again. However, as he went for a second Diving Body press, TAKU managed to get his knees up, allowing him to nearly take Osagawa's head off with the Chojin Bomber! Much to TAKU's chagrin however, Osagawa still managed to kick out of the pin at 2.9! Finally, TAKU managed to raise Osagawa's body up in the corner, before cradling both of his legs overhead. After slowly walking towards center ring, TAKU finally delivered the Kinniku Buster, SPIKING Osagawa on the top of his head. TAKU went for the cover, forcing Referee Edd Sasaki to count the three count.

The fans applauded Osagawa's efforts after the match. TAKU even praised Osagawa afterwards, but said that tonight he wasn't good enough. TAKU officially announced himself as the #1 contender, and said it was poetic that he would be facing his former partner in such an important match. This brought Naoki Fukuda himself out to face his 2/26 challenger. TAKU surprised many in his tone, almost addressing Fukuda with a sense of respect. He praised Fukuda for breaking out as a singles wrestler, and called him the “strongest wrestler in FURY.” However, TAKU promised to do everything in his power to become champion. Fukuda offered a handshake, but that appeared to be too much for TAKU, who refused. As Fukuda left the ring, Iwata took the microphone and appeared to take notice of TAKU's demeanor. He told TAKU that he hoped he wasn't having “feelings of nostalgia.” TAKU appeared to be insulted, and said that Iwata and the others had enough to worry about with the Unit Survival Match. Iwata fired back, giving an ominous warning, saying that regardless of the outcome of that match, if TAKU failed to win, they may need to find a new leader... The rest of UPRISER'Z left the ring, leaving TAKU alone. TAKU said that Iwata's threats weren't warranted, and vowed to become champion on 2/26.

- FURY returned to Korakuen for the second half of its New Years double header. The show was more low key from last night's event, with no major happenings taking place. The main event saw F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Jet Jaguar come out on top of a 13-Junior Heavyweight Battle Royal, last eliminating hated enemy Yoshihiro Shimoda. Of course, Shimoda, along with first generation comrades ATSUKA and Kyoto Okazaki attacked Jaguar after the match, causing Kotaro Ota and Fumihiko Shirai to make the save. Both sides battled afterwards over the microphone. In the end, a four-on-four elimination match was decided upon for FURY's next Korakuen Hall show on 2/05, with Shimoda, ATSUKA and Okazaki promising a mystery “X” partner... Jaguar admitted now knowing who their fourth would be, bringing out SHIGERU IWASAKI. Despite being from the first generation, Iwasaki petitioned to join the side of Jaguar, Ota, and Shirai! Without hesitation, Jaguar accepted Iwasaki's help, adding him to the 2/05 elimination match! After chasing the heels off, the four thanked the fans for their support, and asked them to continue supporting Pro-Wrestling FURY throughout the year.

- Pro-Wrestling FURY kicked off its 2010 year in front of a packed house in Korakuen for the first show of a Korakuen Hall double header. The show opened as Go Taniguchi faced the spirited “Greco Superman,” Mamoru Sekishima in something of a revenge match after Sekishima scored the pinfall over Taniguchi in a tag match on 12/21. While taking some lumps along the way, Go was able to pay Sekishima back, showing that the gap in experience was too far after he cradled Sekishima with a schoolboy for the pin.

- In the second match, UPRISER'Z members Daisuke Iwata and YAKUTA scored a win over the NEW FORCE duo of Etsuya Kawachi and Kamon. The former JET GENERATION members set a fast pace for the match, making it almost impossible for Iwata and YAKUTA to keep up. YAKUTA however was able to level the playing field, albeit by using a kick to Kamon's groin behind the referee's back, allowing him to spike Kamon with the Ace Driver for the victory!

- In the semi final, the unnamed heel trio of Yoshihiro Shimoda, ATSUKA, and Kyoto Okazaki overwhelmingly defeated F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Jet Jaguar, Kotaro Ota, and Fumihiko Shirai after Okazaki drilled Shirai into the canvas with the Otokogoroshi. The villainous trio continued their assault after the match before finally leaving their opponents laying. On the microphone, Jet Jaguar vowed revenge against the three...

- For the second year in a row, FURY held its annual New Years Heavyweight battle royal, involving every heavyweight wrestler on the roster. The match was mostly comedy early on, with Kazuma Fujita being pinned by five different people within the first thirty-seconds of the match. It finally came down to two as Masato Osagawa faced off against TAKU. The two engaged in a high-spurt five-minute exchange where they traded near falls, along with near eliminations. In the end however, TAKU was able to duck Osagawa's lariat, before sending him tumbling over the ropes and onto the floor with a lariat of his own! After the match, TAKU, along with the other members of UPRISER'Z occupied the ring with the microphone. TAKU reiterated much of his speech from 12/21, declaring that UPRISER'Z would have a monopoly over FURY's championships this year. However, he announced that he would immediately set his sights on the title held by his former partner, the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion Naoki Fukuda! TAKU nominated himself as Fukuda's first challenger, drawing a roar of cheers from the fans. This finally brought out Fukuda (who was eliminated second in similar fashion as Fujita...) Before he could address the situation however, MASATO OSAGAWA returned to the ring, pulling the microphone out of TAKU's hands! Hot headed, Osagawa declared that TAKU did not deserve a title match, but instead HE should be the first to get a crack at Naoki Fukuda, citing him scoring several big wins in the F-MAX Summit tournament past November, including against the 2008 winner Tetsuhisa NAKAI, and the last F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion Otsuo Kayusa! Fukuda said that he wanted to face only the strongest, and suggested that both men face off in a #1 contenders match. Interim President Kazuma Fujita agreed, and made the match official for next month's Korakuen event on 2/05.

The fifth annual F-MAX Summit tournament opened in front of a packed house in Korakuen, filling every possible seat within the venue. As the show kicked off, all sixteen participants in the tournament were introduced one-by-one. Each wrestler entered wearing a ceremonial sash around their shoulder bearing their name. All sixteen participants were given the chance to give their thoughts on the tournament. Comments ranged from the usual "I will do my best" to TAKU, who vowed to go undefeated, and retire every wrestler in his block. The fans were particularly interested in the comments made by Keiji Takano, who said that it was an honor competing in the tournament, and said he simply wanted to fight the best. Kazuma Fujita spoke finally, saying that he was still the gatekeeper for his generation, and promised to show the wrestlers that his spirit still burned. This raised the ire of his opponent tonight, Norihiro Akashi, who SLAPPED Fujita across the face, before leaving!

1. F-MAX Summit - Block B: Naoki Fukuda [2] beat Shuji Kido [Nansei] [0] (10:58) with the Mastodon Splash. [**1/2]
[COMMENTS:] The first tournament match of the night saw Naoki Fukuda face Nansei Nihon Pro-Wrestling's Shuji Kido in the B Block. Both wrestlers had their game plan: Fukuda with his short-burst attacks, and Kido with his strikes and submissions, creating an interesting clash of styles. Despite being less experienced, Kido looked impressive early on, working over Fukuda's legs with sharp kicks. This would play into the match later on, as Kido used various submission holds targeting Fukuda's leg. Even when Fukuda began to mount a comeback, Kido fought defensively, and would ensnare Fukuda in an achilles holds and hizajujigatames. In the end however, Fukuda's experience and strength would win out after connecting with a lariat, the Mastodon Slam, and finally the Mastodon Splash to secure the three count!

[INTERVIEWS:]
Naoki Fukuda: "Winning on the first night is a great feeling... I'll use this momentum to propel myself to the tournament finals!" [...] "Kido? He's exceptionally skilled for somebody of his experience. But tonight wasn't his night."
------------------------------
Shuji Kido: "I did my best... This is all I could ask for." [...] "This is by far the biggest challenge of my career. One loss will not deter me!!"

2. F-MAX Summit - Block A: Chikao Kessin [2] beat Masahiro Sakamoto [S-PRO] [0] (9:24) with the Sekai Ichi no Backdrop. [**1/4]
[COMMENTS:] The Ace of Superstar Pro-Wrestling, Masahiro Sakamoto began his campaign facing one of FURY's stalwart walls, the "Heavy Tank," Chikao Kessin. Despite the short match, Sakamoto showed the heart of an Ace in taking THREE Sekai Ichi no Backdrops within the first two-minutes of the match, only to comeback with brutal elbows, nearly striking Kessin into unconsciousness! However, when Sakamoto was unable to use any of his other prime attacks, such as the Superdriver, Kessin came back, punishing Sakamoto with a flurry of back blows, before catching him with the Scrap Buster. Sakamoto attempted to resist one final Sekai Ichi no Backdrop, but eventually succumbed to the attack after a back blow to the back of the head, keeping the spirited Sakamoto down!

[INTERVIEWS:]
Chikao Kessin: "Sakamoto is strong--stronger than I even imagined. The fact that it took me four Backdrops to keep him down is a testament to his strength..." [...] "Last year I made it to the finals of the tournament. This year, I plan on winning! DOSUKOI!!"
------------------------------
Masahiro Sakamoto: "...Damnit!!" [...] "While my goal is to represent Superstar Pro-Wrestling, Sensei (Jason Ramsey) told me that wins and losses did not matter. What is important is that I gain experience and growth in my matches. Even in defeat, I feel that I've grown stronger."

3. F-MAX Summit - Block B: Tetsuhisa NAKAI [2] beat Masakazu Fujimoto [CRIMSON] [0] (14:25) with a lariat. [**1/2]
[COMMENTS:] Two bulls collided head-on as Tetsuhisa NAKAI faced Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's Masakazu Fujimoto. The match had the typical strong man spots, with both men demonstrating incredible power. Fujimoto ran away with the match in the later portions, scoring a near fall after using both his MONSTER Buster and diving senton. NAKAI however came back after avoiding Fujimoto's "MONSTER RUSH!" shoulder tackle, and countering with a crushing lariat! NAKAI followed up with the Half-Nelson Suplex for a 2.5 count. NAKAI then gathered all of his strength, allowing him to lift Fujimoto's massive body, and spiking him with a brainbuster for another 2.5 count! NAKAI finally smashed into Fujimoto with a second lariat; this time giving him the three count!

[INTERVIEWS:]
Tetsuhisa NAKAI: "I've won this tournament twice now. I have every intentions of winning my third this year. When I do, I'll expect everyone in the media to call me "Mr. November!!" [...] "Fujimoto is strong, but I was stronger!!"
------------------------------
Masakazu Fujimoto: "Hmm... Yes, he was stronger tonight... I'm disappointed in myself having seen Toyota beat him so decisively!! I have much to learn, I suppose..."

4. F-MAX Summit - Block A: Akira Takayoshi [2] beat Jun Kobayashi [0] (9:08) with the Tiger Suplex hold. [**1/4]
[COMMENTS:] While by no means an easy win, Akira Takayoshi had an impressive performance in beating Jun Kobayashi for his first win of the tournament. Kobayashi brought an aggressive offense early on, allowing Akira to counter and fight defensively until making his big move. In the end, it would take Akira a brainbuster, a flurry of enzuigiris, and finally his Tiger Suplex hold to pin Jun's shoulders to the mat.

[INTERVIEWS:]
Akira Takayoshi: "I wanted to make a statement tonight by winning. This is only the beginning for me!!" [...] "I will be pulling for Naoyuki in the tournament. Hopefully we will have an all NEW FORCE finals...?"
------------------------------
Jun Kobayashi: "...Unfortunately, Akira exploited my faulty game plan. I'd expect nothing less from him..." [...] "I won't worry so much about one loss. I have Fujita next in Miyagi!"

5. F-MAX Summit - Block B: Masato Osagawa [2] beat Otsuo Kayusa [0] (13:15) with the Last Ride Powerbomb. [***1/4]
[COMMENTS:] Certainly the biggest upset of the night, as the former Shin Kaiju, Masato Osagawa makes his first big wave as a heavyweight in pinning the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion! Kayusa held nothing back against Osagawa, using his usual style of suplexes and leg work. In fact, Osagawa's ankle would be a constant target for Kayusa, who came close to submitting him with his ankle lock at several points. Osagawa however pushed through the pain, and scored many near falls using his diving body press, and Death Valley Bomb. In the end, Osagawa caught Kayusa on the middle rope, where he carried the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion towards the center of the ring, before lifting Kayusa up by his trunks, before PLOWING him into the mat with a vicious Last Ride Powerbomb for the three count!

[INTERVIEWS:]
Masato Osagawa: "If I can defeat the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion, there is nobody that can beat me!!" [...] "All of the other heavyweight fighters are on notice! If they thought Shin Kaiju's dominance as a Jr. Heavyweight was impressive, they haven't seen anything yet! Remember that!!"
------------------------------
Otsuo Kayusa: "...Perhaps I underestimated him, but I won't use excuses. I was beaten tonight..." [...] "As the champion, it's my responsibility to be the standard-bearer. Tonight, I didn't live up to that..."

6. F-MAX Summit - Block A: Keiji Takano [Takano Gundan] beat TAKU (10:00) by referee stoppage. [**3/4]
[COMMENTS:] Tonight, in front of a rabid Korakuen Hall crowd, the "Strongest Heel of FURY" faced the "Aomori Terrorist," Keiji Takano! TAKU tried to lure Takano into a brawl, but Takano kept the match on his terms in the ring. TAKU appeared to be no match for Takano early on, who established dominance with brutal kicks and elbows. TAKU however would seize control using every shortcut possible. The closing moments saw Takano unleash his Axe Bomber, only for TAKU to completely disregard the attack and bounce back to his feet! Takano proceeded to brutalize TAKU with knees and elbows before locking in a front sleeper! TAKU tried to use his strength to break free, leading to him even lifting Takano's body off the ground. As TAKU tried to toss Takano off however, Takano transitioned to a front neck lock, dragging TAKU's neck to the mat with him! Despite being in an impossible situation, TAKU refused to submit, and rather let himself pass out into unconsciousness, forcing Referee Edd Sasaki to stop the match!

[INTERVIEWS:]
Keiji Takano: "While I wish he was smart enough to just submit, I admire his guts..." [...] "My goal in competing in this tournament is merely to face the strongest wrestlers Japan has to offer. So far, I'm unimpressed."

7. F-MAX Summit - Block B: Naoyuki Watanabe [2] beat Hiroaki Nakata [0] (15:57) with the Dragon Suplex hold. [***1/2]
[COMMENTS:] The upsets continued tonight, as Naoyuki Watanabe scored his first win of the tournament by pinning Hiroaki Nakata with his own Dragon Suplex hold! The match started slow, with both men using their precise technical skills to establish control. The pace quickened with time. Nakata led a vicious onslaught with his brutal kicks, while Watanabe spent most of his time fighting on the defensive. The Tokyo crowd rallied behind Watanabe as the underdog, and roared with excitement after every counter. Watanabe began to trip Nakata up shortly after the ten-minute mark, using various cradles and pinning predicaments to try and steal the win. When it became obvious that trickery wouldn't work, Watanabe fought Nakata blow-for-blow. The two traded release Dragon Suplexes, leading to Watanabe connecting with a Shining Wizard, followed by his Shining Kenka Kick for a 2.5 count! Watanabe tried to seal the match with a German Suplex hold, only for Nakata to pull a trick out of Watanabe's play book, and counter with a front cradle for a near fall. Nakata tried to finish with another Dragon Suplex, leading to both men struggling back-and-forth. Eventually, Watanabe won out, as he folded Nakata in half with a Dragon Suplex hold, pinning Nakata's shoulders to the mat for the three count! The fans erupted with surprise!

[INTERVIEWS:]
- Naoyuki Watanabe: "...I admire Nakata's strength, but this was a battle between two dragons. And tonight, my dragon was stronger!!" [...] "Tonight, both Akira and I won. This will continue!"
------------------------------
- Hiroaki Nakata: "...I could say I underestimated him... But the truth is I did not. I did my best, and failed... All I can do is work even harder in the matches to come."

8. F-MAX Summit - Block A: "Mr. 300%" Kazuma Fujita [2] beat Norihiro Akashi [0] (23:55) with a Powerbomb. [***3/4]
[COMMENTS:] The young and brash Akashi challenged the high elder of Pro-Wrestling FURY, Kazuma Fujita. Despite the eventual result, Akashi showed incredible growth against Fujita. The early going was dominated entirely by Akashi, who dug into Fujita with hard elbows and knees. Having enough, Fujita eventually fought back, using blistering chops and thudding knees to the body. However, Akashi refused to back down, and used his strength to power Fujita around the ring. Akashi garnered a huge ovation mid-way through the match, as he collided head-on with Fujita, using a lariat. Fujita fought back however, using his own Fujita Lariat to send Akashi crashing to the mat! Fujita used more chops on Akashi, leaving his chest with a red glaze. It made no difference to Akashi however, who put everything he had into thudding elbows to the side of Fujita's head. Akashi was eventually able to hoist Fujita up, and fold him in half with a picture-perfect German Suplex hold for a 2.5 count, only to follow up with a second lariat, this time sending Fujita to the canvas! Akashi's tenacity however would come back to bit him, after Fujita countered a third lariat attempt with a brutal half-nelson suplex! After Akashi kicked out of the ensuing pin attempt, Fujita sent Akashi crashing back to the mat with incredible force after using a high-angle Nodowa Otoshi! Akashi however won over fans after kicking out of Fujita's pin attempt! As the match approached the twenty-minute mark, it was clear Akashi was spent, and was going on pure burning spirit. Fujita tried to extinguish Akashi's flame with BRUTAL knee kicks to the body, which softened Akashi up with a sickening vertical Brainbuster! Even then, Akashi had enough strength to kick out at 2.8! Fujita finally tried to end it after going for his trademark lariat. Akashi however countered with a go-behind, before clasping his arms around Fujita's and folding him in half with the Akashi Trap! Fujita however kicked out after two. This prompt Akashi to come off the ropes, only for Fujita to counter, blasting Akashi with a crushing lariat! Akashi scrambled back to his feet in a daze, allowing Fujita to come off the ropes, CRUSHING Akashi once more with the Fujita Lariat! Fujita went for the cover, only to be SHOCKED as Akashi kicked out at 2.999! Finally, Fujita lifted the near-unconscious Akashi, before hoisting him up and FOLDING him in half with a brutal Powerbomb, while using his weight to pin the tenacious Akashi to the mat for the three count!

The fans roared in cheers and applause for both men, with many fans split between chants of "FU-JI-TAH!" and "A-KA-SHI!" While Akashi was tended to by his fellow Ooinaru Waza members, Fujita walked over, and raised the arm of the unconscious Akashi, garnering a big reaction from the Tokyo fans...

[INTERVIEWS:]
- Kazuma Fujita: "Tonight, my goal was to show that my spirit still burns! While I respect my students, I have no intention of stepping aside! If they want to surpass my generation, they're going to have to get past me first!" [...] "I was greatly impressed with Akashi. With time, he will realize his full potential."
------------------------------
- Norihiro Akashi: "...Damnit!!! I respect him, but I know I could beat him!!! Takano! I will make my claim by crushing you in Miyagi!!!"

[Results] "BREAK BLOW ~ PREMIUM Vol. 1," 8/29/2009 @ Korakuen Hall

- Hiroaki Nakata presented the biggest event in the short history of his BREAK BLOW concept from Korakuen Hall tonight. Producer Nakata greeted the fans at the start, welcoming them to the event. He said that he was proud of what he had accomplished thus far with BREAK BLOW, but aspires for more with tonight's event. Nakata also announced that he would continue to expand his portfolio as a promoter by holding a mixed martial arts event under the BREAK BLOW banner later this year. In addition, Producer Nakata announced that he would be expanding his concept into new areas, announcing that "BREAK BLOW Vol. 8" on 9/25 will be held from Osaka's UMEDA HEAT BEAT, which was a popular venue FURY frequently ran many years ago. As always, he thanked the fans for their support, and promised a thrilling event.

- The first match pitted The headstrong Manabe Tsuji, who battled against Nansei Nihon's "Young Shooter," Shuji Kido. Both men have become something of rivals within the BREAK BLOW ring, having fought to a time limit draw back at BREAK BLOW Vol. 3 in March. The two met once more last month in a tag match, where Manabe Tsuji got the better of Shuji after pinning him. Tonight however, it was Kido's opportunity to redeem himself. Neither man held anything back, and even surprised the fans with the ferociousness of their attacks. Within moments, both men were showing guts by outright asking for the other to take their best shot. Tsuji, using his short-burst strength appeared to have the upper hand early on after staggering Kido with a flurry of jarring slaps across the face, only for Kido to strike, BLASTING Tsuji with a BRUTAL elbow to the side of Tsuji's jaw, dropping him to a knee! As the match progressed, both men exchanged control, while showing off a mixture of technique, strength, and speed. Later, Tsuji was able to get the upper hand after telegraphing Kido's uraken attempt with a vicious Spear for a near fall. Kido however put up some resistance when Tsuji tried to finish him with the Guts Coaster, forcing Tsuji to call an audible by dropping Kido chest first across his knee, before spiking Kido's head into the mat with a DDT! Towards the end, Tsuji tried to finish Kido with a Powerbomb, only for the technically proficient Kido to counter with a triangle hold! Many thought it would be the end of Tsuji, whose legs gave out after desperately trying to lift Kido up to slam his way free. Thankfully for him, he was able to reach the ropes with his foot for the break, putting both men on even footing for the conclusion, which saw both men once more trade brutal shots. Tsuji however appeared to grow stronger with every blow Kido landed. Kido finally threw a right-legged high kick, BLASTING Kido in the side of the head with his signature blow! Tsuji however responded with eyes wide open, while sticking out his tongue in defiance! Kido struck again, throwing another high kick, only for Tsuji to duck! In doing so however, he was BLASTED with a sneaking follow-up kick! The shot stunned Tsuji, leaving him wide open for a final Explosion High Kick, sending Tsuji's body crumbling into a heap on the mat, allowing Kido to score the three count!

After the match, Kido half heartedly praised Tsuji, but said he would expect a better effort in their future matches... He also praised the BREAK BLOW concept, saying that he has grown immensely since its creation, as he has had many great opportunities in wrestling many different opponents. However, he said that he would now set his sights on BREAK BLOW boss Hiroaki Nakata!

- A match years in the making finally took place tonight in Korakuen Hall, as Burning Spirit Dojo rivals Naoyuki Watanabe and BURNING PARADISE's Tetsuo Tange met one another in their first singles match in over four years. Then, they were merely rookies embarking on what they hoped would be illustrious careers. Now, they were bonafide stars in their respective promotions. Before the match, a pleasant surprise was revealed in the form of Burning Dojo leader Yoshihiro Yujiro was introduced as the special referee, along with presenting both Watanabe and Tange with flowers. Both men showed no ill-will towards the other, as they both shook hands before the bout. The match was the exact opposite of the prior, being that they took a very slow and methodical approach to the start, as they tried to feel the other out. The two engaged in an exchange of holds on the mat, with neither getting ahead. Things picked up finally after Watanabe isolated Tange's right leg and began to kick away at the inside of his knee. Tange immediately jumped to his feet, and fired back with a fiery shove! This led to an exchange of forearms, with the bigger Tange winning out, allowing him to come off the ropes. However, Watanabe promptly countered, throwing a pin-point dropkick to Tange's right knee, sending him rolling onto the mat. The leg work continued from Watanabe, who spent the next couple of minutes trying to inflict damage on Tange's right leg. Tange finally was able to fight back after reaching his feet, before catching Watanabe coming off the ropes with a jumping knee to the face! Tange shook off the damage to his limb, and upped the pace a bit after whipping Watanabe into the corner, and connecting with a lariat, before following up with a quick vertical suplex. Tange would continue on offense until trying for one of his early signature attacks, the spear! Watanabe however managed to leap-frog the attack, before catching Tange with a crushing jumping elbow smash as he was recovering! Watanabe's offense wouldn't last however, as he aimed for a German Suplex hold, allowing Tange to counter with a go-behind and connect with a Backdrop! After hitting Watanabe with another lariat in the corner, Tange tried to deal a decisive blow with a Superplex, only to be met with some resistance. However, after quelling his comeback with elbows, Tange was able to get off his Superplex, sending both he and Watanabe crashing to the mat! The match had a rather unique exchange minutes later, as Watanabe pulled off the Superdriver, taught to him by his mentor, "The Superstar" Jason Ramsey. Minutes later however, Tange fired back with a Shining Wizard, taught to him by his mentor, Genji Yamato! The closing moments saw Tange aiming to finish Watanabe with his "Revolver" finisher. Watanabe however countered with a drop-down, before catching Tange with a Dragon Suplex hold for a 2.5! He tried to follow with a second, only for Tange to break free. As he came off the ropes, Watanabe acted once more, hitting another dropkick to Tange's knee, dropping him down to a kneeling position, leaving him wide-open for the Shining Kenka Kick! Watanabe followed with the cover, only for Tange to kick out at 2.9! Watanabe followed by pulling Tange up, before grabbing both of Tange's wrists, and slowly placing them behind his head, before finally getting off the Kodou-style Dragon Suplex hold! The fans roared as Yoshihiro Yujiro made the three count!

Both wrestlers were emotional afterwards, with all 1,953 fans shouting cries of support for both men. As both men recovered, Yoshihiro Yujiro took the microphone, and in his scratchy voice, praised the efforts of both men, saying not only was he proud to officiate this match, but he was proud to be their teacher, leading to Yujiro having an emotional embrace with Watanabe and Tange. The two finally addressed one another directly. Tange said he had no excuses for his loss, calling Watanabe the better man "tonight." He however refused to admit that Watanabe was the strongest of the two, and said they would have to continue to do their best in their respective organizations. Watanabe agreed, and said he was extremely happy to have this match tonight. He somewhat echoed Tange's sentiments, saying that while he got the win tonight, it could have easily gone the other way... He encouraged Tange to continue to do his best in BURNING PARADISE, while he does the same in FURY, and said that someday, he wants to have a rematch with Tange, when both are the champions of their respective organizations.

- The next bout featured something of a dream match pitting Tatsumichi Akamatsu against Keiji Takano, albeit in a tag team bout. Korakuen fans erupted as the famed Keiji Takano entered, alongside former trainee Channarong Boriwaan. Akamatsu however was greeted favorably as well, as he was accompanied by his partner and disciple Daisuke Yamazaki. Although they teased the opposite, Takano and Akamatsu delighted the crowd by facing off one-on-one to start the bout. The two superpowers tested the mettle of the other by using blunt-force blows to try and weaken the other. However, neither man wavered! Both eventually tagged out to their partners, allowing them to show off their skills. Boriwaan controlled Yamazaki using takedowns and submission work, forcing Yamazaki to fight back and catching Boriwaan with a diving shoulder tackle, before blasting Keiji Takano with a cheap shot! The attack drew the ire of both Takano and the fans, who booed Yamazaki's disrespectful actions. Yamazaki later tagged out to Akamatsu, who continued to assault Boriwaan with brutal kicks and European forearms. Boriwaan occasionally fought back with kicks of his own, only to be shot down by Akamatsu. Akamatsu and Yamazaki continued to make quick tags as they wore Boriwaan out. It wasn't until Boriwaan countered Yamazaki's bulldog headlock attempt, allowing him to catch him with an enzuigiri to the back of the skull! Boriwaan was finally able to tag out to his mentor, Keiji Takano! With the fans going wild, Takano unleashed a flurry of blows, before SPIKING Yamazaki with a vertical brainbuster! Akamatsu soon tried to make the save, only to be cut off by Boriwaan. Yamazaki tried to fight back with elbows, only to be thrown to the mat with a powerful judo throw! Yamazaki climbed to his feet, and immediately collided into Takano with a lariat attempt... As he went for another, Takano ducked the attack, before BLASTING Yamazaki with the Axe Bomber! As Yamazaki stumbled to his feet, Takano once more threw Yamazaki to the mat with a judo toss, before locking in the TAKANO LOCK X! Once the hold was applied, Yamazaki tapped out immediately, giving Keiji Takano the victory!

The Tokyo fans roared with cheers for the triumphant Keiji Takano. Takano and Akamatsu had an intense stare down after the match, only for Akamatsu to leave with the beaten Yamazaki... Takano thanked the fans for their support, and said that while he enjoyed tonights match, he was searching for a higher challenge, and said he would watch tonight's main event to see if such a higher challenge existed...

- Yoshihiro Shimoda and Jin Hiroto, the "HOKKAIDO KINGS" faced "OVERTHROW," Naoki Daishi and Akahito Yamada in one of the most anticipated matches of the night, pitting two of the most exciting Junior tag teams against each other! The early going saw Daishi and Yamada take an initiative against Shimoda and Hiroto, with them hitting stereo tope suicidas after Shimoda and Hiroto retreated to the outside. Back in the ring however, the Hokkaido Kings took over after working over Akahito Yamada. The two used simple submissions to ground Yamada for the next few minutes. However, the two met some friendly fire after Hiroto accidentally caught Shimoda with an elbow, allowing Yamada to tag out to Daishi. Together, OVERTHROW once again used teamwork to establish control. Yamada and Shimoda had an incredible exchange of counter-attacks later on, with both men fluidly transitioning between Yamada's Crossface of YAMADA and Shimoda's jujigatame until Yamada finally trapped Shimoda in the crossface, forcing Hiroto to make the save. Later on, the Hokkaido Kings disposed of Yamada to the outside, allowing them the two-on-one over Naoki Daishi. Hiroto tried to break Daishi down with his brutal kicks, before connecting with the Dragon Suplex hold for a two count. After connecting with the Torokeru Conbi, Shimoda caught Daishi with the Torokeru Knee Kick. Had it not been for the last second save from Yamada, Daishi may not have been able to kickout. Daishi was finally able to fight back after countering Shimoda's German Suplex with one of his own, allowing him to tag out to Yamada. Together, the two wore down Shimoda enough for Yamada to fold Shimoda in half with the Cross-armed German Suplex hold, giving him a 2.5 count! Moments later, Yamada caught Shimoda with his trademark Missile Kick, sending Shimoda into the waiting arms of Naoki Daishi, who SPIKED Shimoda with a Northern Light Bomb! The fans sensed the end as Yamada went for the cover, only for Jin Hiroto to make the diving save at 2.9! Daishi tried to oust Hiroto from the ring once again, only for Hiroto to counter, tossing Daishi to the floor! Hiroto aided his partner in coming back, as the two used their kicks to break Yamada down. Towards the end, the bout reached a fevered pitch between Jin Hiroto and Akahito Yamada, who traded big moves in the closing moments of the match. Yamada nearly had the win with the Crossface of YAMADA, only for Hiroto to reach the ropes. Hiroto however thwarted Yamada's Cross-Armed German attempt, before countering with a backflip kick, catching Yamada across the top of the head! It would finally take a Dragon Suplex hold, and TWO Jumping High Kicks to keep Yamada down, giving Jin Hiroto the pinfall!

- We finally came to the night's main event, as BREAK BLOW Producer Hiroaki Nakata made his third defense of the WWA National Heavyweight title against the wily veteran, Masafumi Satake. The Tokyo fans were almost entirely behind the champion, who received a huge ovation as he made his entrance into Korakuen Hall. Satake however had his share of supporters, carrying the flag of the former DYNAMITE organization. After the pre-match ballyhoo, the match kicked off. Both technicians showed respect for the other by taking a slow, methodical approach to the match. The two engaged in locking fingers to start, with the challenger quickly taking Nakata to the mat before applying an armlock. The champion however fought his way back to his feet, where he in turn took Satake down, before locking in a hizajujigatame, forcing Satake to grab the ropes for the break! A few moments later, Satake caught Nakata with a flurry of forearms, prompting the champion to respond with three HARD kicks to the body. Satake once more unloaded with forearms, before finally whipping Nakata into the ropes, before CRUSHING him with a jumping elbow smash! Nakata stumbled forward towards the ring, only to telegraph Satake coming off the ropes, snapping him across the mat with a front suplex, followed by a sharp soccer kick between Satake's shoulder blades! The pace picked up for both men, who attacked one another with incredible vigor. Satake proved to be a formidable foe early on, using an array of suplexes to wear down the champion. Nakata however managed to counter Satake's Matsuzaka Cutter by grabbing his arm and forcing him to the mat, where he locked in a wakigatame! Nakata pulled back on Satake's arm with all of his might, applying incredible pressure to Satake's shoulder. The challenger however did his best to fight the pain en route to grabbing the ropes for an escape. From that point, Satake's left arm became the primary target of the champion, who used arm breakers and brutal kicks to further break his resistance. Satake however still had fight left later, as he countered Nakata's shoulder-armbreaker with a Cobra Clutch suplex for a near fall! With Nakata hurt, Satake went for the death knell after connecting with the Matsuzaka Cutter. But even that wouldn't be enough to sink the champion, as Nakata kicked out of the pin attempt that followed at 2.5! Nakata finally mounted a comeback after ducking Satake's rapidly approaching Rolling Elbow, before landing a counter-blow High Kick, stunning the challenger long enough for Nakata to fold him in half with his Dragon Suplex hold for a 2.5 pin attempt! However, as Satake kicked out, Nakata rolled straight into reapplying the Wakigatame in the center of the ring! Satake tried desperately to reach the ropes, only for Nakata to keep him away! Nakata finally pulled back one final time, applying enough pressure to force Satake to submit!

The fans roared in cheers and applause for both competitors. After the match, Nakata praised the technique of Satake, but said that it wasn't yet the time for him to lose the title... He thanked the fans for making tonight's event a success, and said that he would continue to push the "BREAK BLOW" brand into new ventures. He called many of the night's wrestlers back to the ring, including Yoshihiro Shimoda, Jin Hiroto, Naoyuki Watanabe, Tetsuo Tange and Shuji Kido. Nakata finally ended the show, performing the traditional "BREAK! BLOW! FIGHT!" call.

8/28 Notes: Following their victory over Kazuma Fujita and Mamoru Sekishima, Jun Kobayashi and Kenichiro Hujikawa issued a challenge to the current F-MAX Tag Team Champions, Akira Takayoshi and Naoyuki Watanabe! Their challenge was answered by Akira Takayoshi. Kobayashi noted their recent streak of victories, and declared themselves to be the rightful #1 contenders. Akira acknowledged their recent success, but said that he was not sure they were the #1 contenders. Hujikawa stepped up, saying they would prove it in a non-title match against the champions. Akira agreed, as the three men made the match official for FURY's 9/08 event in Osaka... Norihiro Akashi once again impressed after using his brand new "Ignition Crash" finisher on Ryuugo Nagashima. Well, impressed everyone but Tetsuhisa NAKAI, who attempted to leave the ring as soon as the match ended. Akashi however demanded to be acknowledged by one of his senpais. This of course raised the ire of NAKAI, who said that Akashi had done nothing to earn any acknowledgment, other than being a "tourist" around the world. NAKAI finally said that he would only acknowledge Akashi if he could beat him in a singles match next month in Korakuen! Akashi jumped at the chance, and accepted the match for 9/24 in Korakuen... During intermission, Kazuma Fujita announced the return of the "NEW BREED" tournament concept for the less experienced wrestlers on the roster. This year however, Fujita announced that the tournament would be now known as the "Hiroshita Yagato Memorial Cup" in tribute to the man who trained most of the wrestlers in Pro-Wrestling FURY. Fujita announced that the tournament would take place from 9/05 in Gifu to 9/25 in Tokyo. In addition, Fujita announced that Satoru Yamato of Nansei Nihon Pro-Wrestling and Shuji Kawashima of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON would participate... UPRISER'Z dealt an overwhelming defeat to the Mushozoku team of Hiroaki Nakata, Masafuji Yoshida, Masato Osagawa, and the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Jet Jaguar. In fact, it would be Jaguar who would take the loss after being driven head first into the mat by ATSUKA's "BDSM" straight jacket piledriver. After the match, ATSUKA succeeded in placing the ball gag around Jaguar's mouth, further humiliating him. In a low, gravely voice, ATSUKA said he was going to "play" with Jaguar like a "cat plays with a mouse."

- The group stage of the 2009 J1-MAX League drew to a close tonight in front of a packed house in Korakuen Hall for what would be two defacto semi finals bouts, along with the all-important V1 defense of the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion, Otsuo Kayusa! First however, the fans were treated to a six man tag, pitting Hiroaki Nakata, Fumihiko Shirai and Tetsujin against "Mr. 300%" Kazuma Fujita, YAKUTA, and "Greco Superman" Mamoru Sekishima. Tetsujin and Sekishima went at it early on, eager to show their Burning Spirit in front of the Korakuen fans. Tetsujin tried his best, but was quickly challenged by the imposing size and brute strength of Sekishima, who hurled the sumo around with great ease. Tetsujin later tagged out to Nakata, who used his skill and experience to subdue the giant rookie. Sekishima eventually tagged out to YAKUTA, who immediately took it to Nakata with kicks and stomps in the corner. Nakata tried to fight back using technique, but YAKUTA pulled one over on him using his guile, and sent him to the mat with a powerful kenka kick. In the end, Mamoru Sekishima, eleven days after debuting scored his very first victory in the ring, after BLASTING Tetsujin with a VICIOUS knee kick to the chest! The crowd met Sekishima's win with a huge ovation. Fujita was quick to praise Sekishima, who was filled with emotion for his victory...

- Next was a special 3WAY match pitting Masafuji Yoshida, Jun Kobayashi of REAL-ONE and Manabe Tsuji of UPRISER'Z in something of a lighthearted comedy match. Early on Tsuji and Yoshida struck a deal with one another to team up against Kobayashi. After Tsuji accidentally attacked Yoshida, Tsuji then struck a deal with Kobayashi to team up against Yoshida. This went back and fourth, until Yoshida and Kobayashi had enough of Tsuji's games. Both focused their attacks on Tsuji, with Kobayashi unloading on Tsuji with a flurry of elbows, before allowing Yoshida to crush Tsuji with the Masayume, before picking up the victory (with Kobayashi's blessing, of course.)

- In the fourth bout, NEW FORCE clashed with Ooinaru Waza in a fierce struggle. Towards the end of a back-and-fourth match, Etsuya Kawachi managed to catch Seiji Sasaki as he swan dived over the ropes, before BLASTING him in the face with the go 2 school to pick up the victory. Both teams traded quips after the match. Akira Takayoshi however made a bold announcement after the match, as he announced his intentions of challenging the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion in August, regardless if it is Kayusa, or his F-MAX Tag Team Champion teammate, Naoyuki Watanabe!

- REAL-ONE battled UPRISER'Z in the last preliminary skirmish before tomorrow's No DQ bout between Naoki Fukuda and TAKU. It was the usual exchange between both teams, as REAL-ONE contended with UPRISER'Z's rule breaking ways. In the end, Shigeru Iwasaki caught RYUJI with the tsumujikaze, allowing him to spike him with the Cross Knell to pick up the victory for REAL-ONE. After the bout, TAKU promised unbridled chaos tomorrow night in their match, saying that he would be taking full advantage of the no disqualification rule. Fukuda said that he figures there will be interference from UPRISER'Z tomorrow, but said that he will have REAL-ONE in his corner to keep the match fair.

- We then came to the final match left in the B block, as F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion Shin Kaiju faced the man who has chased him for years, CRIMSON Junior Dynamo Hayato Saigo. The Tokyo fans were rabid for the bout, and split down the middle between favoring FURY's Shin Kaiju, and the incredibly athletic Hayato Saigo. For years, Kaiju domineered over CRIMSON's Junior heavyweight ranks, with Saigo chasing Kaiju for years. Tonight, their rivalry would be renewed in the FURY ring. Both men engaged like old enemies, showing no hesitation. Kaiju threw bombs almost immediately, and sent Saigo into a complete 360 after BLASTING him with the Kaiju Lariat! Saigo however recovered quickly, before catching Kaiju in the corner with a handspring elbow, followed by SPIKING the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion with a brainbuster! The action only continued as the match progressed. After sending Kaiju to the floor, Saigo amazed the Korakuen fans with an incredible no touch tope con giro onto Kaiju! Back in the ring, Saigo went for the Moonsault press, only for Kaiju to roll away. Saigo however saw it coming, and landed perfectly on his feet, before leaping up and SPIKING Kaiju with a jumping complete shot! Kaiju finally managed to get back on offense after crotching Saigo on the top turnbuckle. From there, Kaiju PLOWED Saigo into the mat with a Sky High Chokeslam! Kaiju eventually scored with the Death Valley Bomb, along with a VICIOUS Whiplash Powerbomb. Neither however could result in the victory. Kaiju went for another Whiplash Powerbomb, only for Saigo to answer with a Frankensteiner! After catching Kaiju with a jumping knee in the corner, Saigo mustered his strength to fold Kaiju in half with a German Suplex hold, only for the F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight Champion to kick out after two! Saigo went for broke next, as he connected with a second Brainbuster, which set Kaiju up for the Moonsault press! Even then however, Kaiju would gather enough strength to kick out after 2.5! Saigo then aimed for the Phoenix Splash... But once more, Kaiju managed to cut him off by gripping him in a position for a Powerbomb. However, rather than simply Powerbombing Saigo, Kaiju stepped up the bottom turnbuckle, followed by the middle before sitting down across the top rope. before DRIVING SAIGO INTO THE MAT WITH THE CRASH-ON POWERBOMB! Kaiju immediately went for the cover, ONLY FOR SAIGO TO KICK OUT AT ONE! The Korakuen fans ERUPTED in cheers for Saigo's incredible Burning Spirit. But as he slowly climbed to his feet, Kaiju came off the ropes, before CRASHING INTO SAIGO WITH THE KAIJU LARIAT! Kaiju planted both hands across Saigo's chest, sensing the end. But once more, Saigo defied Kaiju by kicking out at 2.9! Finally, Kaiju measured Saigo as he pulled himself to his feet, before finally cutting into Saigo's neckline with one, final Kaiju Lariat, causing Saigo to do a complete 180 degree rotation. This time, Kaiju hooked the leg tight, leaving nothing to chance as referee Edd Sasaki counted the three, securing Kaiju's advancement to the tournament finals!

- Next we had an important interpromotional preliminary skirmish towards the 7/27 showdown between CRIMSON's Akuma Toyota and FURY's Tetsuhisa NAKAI for the C-1 Heavyweight title, as Toyota and Masakazu Fujimoto invaded the FURY ring to face NAKAI and Ryuugo Nagashima. Both Toyota and Fujimoto were greeted by the FURY fans as enemies, and were booed vociferously through out the bout. Toyota fed off the negative reactions, and took constant cheap shots and rough neck tactics to illicit an even bigger reaction. The atmosphere was electric when NAKAI and Toyota were going at it in the ring. The two continually traded blistering chops, with neither man backing down. As the match went past the 10-minute mark, both fighter's chests were lit up with red swelling from the shots. Both teams had their share of team work as well, with Toyota and Fujimoto CRUSHING Nagashima with a sandwich MONSTER RUSH!/Enzui Lariat combination for a near fall. NAKAI and Nagashima however would show off a brutal combination attack, with NAKAI hoisting Toyota up for a Powerbomb, while Nagashima BLASTED C-1 Heavyweight Champion with a diving elbow smash from the top rope! But even that wouldn't be enough to keep Toyota down. Later on in the match, NAKAI and Toyota nearly lost control of their emotions on the outside, as the two exchanged chair shots, which caused both men to draw blood upon one another! Towards the end of his heated match, Toyota tagged out to Fujimoto, as the two tried to finish NAKAI once and for all. They aimed to crush NAKAI with the same sandwich attack they had used earlier in the match against Nagashima. NAKAI however managed to narrowly avoid the collision, causing Fujimoto to BLAST the C-1 Heavyweight Champion with the MONSTER RUSH! With Nagashima holding Toyota down outside, NAKAI unleashed a flurry of chops onto Fujimoto in the corner, before BLASTING HIM with a spinning chop to the side of the neck! With Fujimoto stunned, NAKAI FOLDED the 136kg FUJIMOTO IN HALF WITH A HALF-NELSON SUPLEX! As Fujimoto slowly pulled himself up, NAKAI came rushing out of the corner before BLASTING FUJIMOTO WITH A LARIAT! NAKAI hooked the leg as the fans counted along, ONLY FOR FUJIMOTO TO KICK OUT AT 2.5! NAKAI finally mustered the strength to hoist the 136kg Fujimoto across the shoulder... Despite looking like his knees were about to buckle, NAKAI was able to sway Fujimoto over and drive all of the air out of Fujimoto's body with the MAX BULLET! NAKAI went for the cover, only for Toyota to make the last-second save at 2.999! Nagashima quickly returned and disposed of Toyota to the outside, allowing NAKAI to lock Fujimoto deep in the dreaded KOUKAI VICE! With no where to go, Fujimoto was forced to submit, giving the victory to the FURY team!

After the match, NAKAI tore into the CRIMSON sect, saying that with Saigo, Toyota, and Fujimoto failing tonight, CRIMSON had been soundly beaten tonight. Although he praised "Genji-kun" for his Burning Spirit. Toyota didn't take kindly to NAKAI's words, and effectively said he'd shut NAKAI's big mouth in 7/27, and prove that CRIMSON was the strongest organization, causing a roar of boos from the fans. NAKAI said that regardless of the result, he promised a clash of the two top power fighters in the world. Toyota agreed to that much.

- Just who would advance to face Shin Kaiju tomorrow night in the finals? We were about to fight out, as the unbeaten ATSUKA was set to face Jet Jaguar. ATSUKA had the clear advantage in the tournament, as even if this match went to the twenty-minute deadline, he would advance. For Jaguar, it was a must win situation. Knowing this, Jaguar wasted no time in attacking ATSUKA, while ATSUKA tried his best to drag the match out. Eventually, ATSUKA would have to succumb to Jaguar's pace, creating an enjoyable lucha sprint. ATSUKA would eventually connect with a flawless bullet tope through the ropes, catching Jaguar. Jaguar however would return the favor minutes later, pulling off a move ATSUKA had used many years ago in the Bermuda Triangle. Both fighters showed off their knowledge of lucha llave submissions, with ATSUKA busting out a La Atlantida, while Jaguar would later trap ATSUKA in an Cerrajera. ATSUKA eventually scored with the AC-Z, followed by the Green Crush for a 2.5 count. ATSUKA however followed to connect on the Moonsault press, as Jaguar rolled out of the way. From there, Jaguar unleashed a flurry of kicks, climaxing with a BRUTAL Jumping Savate kick to the jaw, before SPIKING ATSUKA with the Jaguar Driver! Later however, ATSUKA would manage to counter Jaguar's Spiral Bomb attempt with a hurricanrana. After a well timed thrust kick, ATSUKA attempted to hoist Jaguar up to set up the Nudo Lagunero. Jaguar however had the move nicely scouted as he countered with a monkey flip. After connecting with another Jumping Savate kick, Jaguar finally drove ATSUKA's shoulders into the mat with the Spiral Bomb! ATSUKA however was not ready to give up, as he powered out of the pin at 2.5! Jaguar then climbed to the top, aiming to crush ATSUKA with the Jaguar Special. ATSUKA however gave Jaguar his receipt from earlier, as he rolled out of the way just in time! ATSUKA called for the finish as Jaguar slowly got to his feet... Once more, ATSUKA aimed to trap Jaguar in the dreaded Nudo Lagunero... However, as he lifted Jaguar up for the spinebuster, JAGUAR TURNED HIS BODY AND CAUGHT ATSUKA WITH A CRADLE ON THE WAY DOWN! ATSUKA was paralyzed in shock as Jaguar held tight for dear life JUST LONG ENOUGH FOR EDD SASAKI TO COUNT THE THREE!!!

The fans ROARED in applause as Jaguar just barely squeaked by! ATSUKA's eyes LIT with stunned confusion, before grabbing referee Edd Sasaki by the collar of the shirt while arguing the count. After the scene calmed down, Jaguar offered a handshake to ATSUKA, who at first rejected the gesture... However, after cooling off, ATSUKA begrudgingly accepted the gesture, and accepted his defeat...

- After a great night of action, we came to the main event, as Otsuo Kayusa would make his first defense of the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight title against one half of the F-MAX Tag Team Champions, Naoyuki Watanabe. The Korakuen fans were split down the middle for these two popular favorites. Both champion and challenger engaged in some mat work early on, in an attempt to establish themselves. While the greco-roman wrestling standout Kayusa controlled the early exchange, Watanabe would prove to be no slouch in amateur wrestling, which prompted both me to reach a stalemate. Grappling soon turned to strikes, as the two fighters decided to test one another's mettle with an exchange of blunt elbows. The fiery challenger won out in the early exchange, giving him control of the early going. Watanabe showed off his great technical prowess by working over Kayusa's arms with various holds and locks. Every time the champion would attempt to fight back, Watanabe would simply tweaked the hold to subdue the champion. Watanabe eventually to the fight back to the ground, where he continued to wear down Kayusa with various holds. The champion however managed to come back with a go-behind, before hoisting Watanabe up by the waist, and driving him back down onto the mat. Kayusa worked over the challenger with a series of moves, before finally catching Watanabe with a back elbow to the face, followed by a quick pin attempt. Kayusa soon dragged the challenger to the outside, where he held nothing back. He sent Watanabe hurling into the steel guard railing. Watanabe however came fighting back with a THUDDING elbow to the face, before grabbing the champion by the head and tossing him into the steel guard rail himself! The eben flow continued with neither man wanting to give an inch. Kayusa however dealt severe damage as he gripped Watanabe by the shin, before DRIVING HIM ANKLE FIRST ACROSS THE GUARD RAIL! Watanabe IMMEDIATELY began screaming in agony, causing Kayusa to continually target the leg through out the match. Back in the ring, Watanabe eventually got back on offense after avoiding a charging corner attack. On one bad leg, Watanabe came off the ropes, before BLASTING the champion with a jumping elbow smash, followed by a flipping senton across Kayusa's chest! After another flurry of elbows, followed by an Enzuigiri, Watanabe tried to fold the champion in half with a German Suplex hold. Kayusa however struggled, leading to an exchange of go-behinds, until Kayusa caught Watanabe with a jabbing kick to Watanabe's injured ankle, which followed him to connect with a German Suplex hold of his own, albeit only for a two count. Kayusa stayed on top of Watanabe, using two consecutive Karelin Lifts to drive the air from the challenger's body. Later, Kayusa aimed to finish the bout with the Olympic-ASP. Watanabe however had other plans, as he countered with a sleeper hold, before transitioning into a Dragon Sleeper hold! Kayusa struggled, but eventually made it to the ropes for the break. After a bodyslam, Watanabe climbed to the top rope, before leaping off with a diving knee... However, Kayusa evaded the attack, causing Watanabe to crash and burn, inflicting even more damage upon his injured limb! Kayusa promptly took advantage, locking Watanabe tight in an ANKLE HOLD! Watanabe SCREAMED in pain as he tried to reach the ropes. Kayusa however PULLED HIM AWAY! Watanabe contemplated tapping out, but the fans chants of "WA-TA-NABE!" encouraged him to keep on fighting. Finally, on one leg, he managed to roll forward, sending Kayusa FLYING HEAD FIRST into the turnbuckle! As the champion stumbled back, Watanabe hooked him in a full nelson while on one leg, before DRIVING KAYUSA ON THE BACK OF HIS NECK WITH A RELEASE DRAGON SUPLEX! The momentum of the attack sent Kayusa rolling onto one knee, prompting Watanabe to BLAST THE CHAMPION WITH A SHINING WIZARD!!! Watanabe hobbled across Kayusa's body for the cover, only for the champion to kick out at 2.5! Watanabe wasted no time in pulling Kayusa back up to his feet, where he unleashed a savage flurry of elbows down across the side of Kayusa's neck. He finally mustered the strength to hoist the champion up, before FOLDING HIM IN HALF WITH A BRUTAL GERMAN SUPLEX HOLD! The fans ROARED, sensing the end could be near, ONLY FOR KAYUSA TO KICK OUT AT 2.5 ONCE MORE! Watanabe finally let out a primal scream, causing the fans to erupt in cheers and applause. He slowly pulled the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion to his feet, before hooking both of his arms around Kayusa's arms and behind his neck, before DRIVING KAYUSA NECK FIRST INTO THE MAT WITH A DRAGON SUPLEX HOLD! ...However, as Watanabe attempted to maintain the bridge, HIS ANKLE GAVE OUT, forcing him to break the pin attempt! Watanabe rolled around on the mat in agony for a few moments, before finally POUNDING HIS ANKLE in order to make it numb! Watanabe finally crawled over to cover the champion. However, enough time had passed that Kayusa had more than enough time to recover, as he kicked out after two. Watanabe managed to muster the strength to get to his feet... But as he pulled Kayusa up, the champion broke away, before grabbing Watanabe and hoisting him up onto his shoulders, and SPIKING HIM WITH THE OLYMPIC-ASP! Kayusa however lacked the energy to follow up with the cover, leaving both men laying prone for the next couple of minutes... Slowly, champion and challenger dragged themselves back up, where they immediately engaged in a desperate exchange of elbows. With each shot, more and more life was breathed into both fighters. However, the champion seemingly began to get the better of the exchange, before he finally dropped Watanabe to one knee with one particularly brutal flurry... Kayusa held up his trademark right hand for the Uraken... But as he swung, Watanabe NARROWLY AVOIDED THE CRUSHING BLOW, allowing him to counter with a dropkick to the knee, dropping Kayusa. With him prone, Watanabe BLASTED THE CHAMPION WITH A SHINING KENKA KICK! Rather than go for the cover, Watanabe pulled Kayusa up, before connecting with a second Dragon Suplex hold! It wouldn't be enough however, as Kayusa BARELY managed to kick out at 2.9! Watanabe wasted no time, and called for the finish! He slowly dragged the groggy champion up, before grabbing both of of Kayusa's hands, before LOCKING THEM BEHIND HIS HEAD FOR THE KODOU-STYLE DRAGON SUPLEX! However, before Watanabe could execute his limit breaking finisher, Kayusa used a burst of strength to BREAK WATANABE'S GRIP! Watanabe tried to deal by going for a German Suplex, but Kayusa countered by picking Watanabe's leg, BEFORE SECURING THE ANKLE LOCK ONCE MORE! Watanabe SCREAMED in pain as he desperately tried to reach the ropes. Amidst unanimous chants of "WA-TA-NABE," the fiery challenger slowly crawled towards the ropes... With every inch, the fans became louder and louder, before Watanabe FINALLY gripped the bottom rope for the break! Kayusa however REFUSED, and PULLED WATANABE BACK TOWARDS THE CENTER OF THE RING! And to make matters worse for Watanabe, Kayusa DROPPED DOWN AND SCISSORED HIS LEGS AROUND WATANABE! From ringside, Watanabe's friend and partner Akira Takayoshi could be seen, pounding the mat in encouragement... However, with no where to go, WATANABE WAS FORCED TO TAP OUT, ENDING A SUPERB MATCH!!!

The fans erupted in applause and appreciation for both men as the gong sounded. Immediately, Watanabe's fellow NEW FORCE members hit the ring, and immediately ripped off Watanabe's boot to tend to his injured ankle. The Korakuen fans continued to chant Watanabe's name as they tended to his leg... However, they greeted Kayusa with a huge ovation as he was given back his championship title... In the ring, Kayusa praised Watanabe's Burning Spirit, saying he was tougher than he had anticipated, and said that against any other man, Watanabe may have become F-MAX Unified Heavyweight champion. However, Kayusa said as the champion, he would not be beaten... Hearing enough, the fans ROARED as Akira Takayoshi got RIGHT in the champion's face! Kayusa nodded, and noted that he had heard Akira's declaration earlier in the show, and said he was open to the idea... However, in return, Kayusa said that he wanted a crack at Takayoshi and Watanabe's F-MAX Tag Team titles! Without hesitation and while sporting a stern look, Akira stuck his hand out, as Kayusa gladly shook it, making their agreement official! Kayusa ended by thanking the FURY fans, and said as F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion, he would continue to delivery the most dynamic matches possible in the ring.
