[results] 2/21/2009 @ Korakuen Hall

- FURY returned to Korakuen Hall tonight, packing an overfull crowd of over 2,300 fans into the hollowed ground of pro-wrestling. President Hiroshi Nishida appeared before the crowd to brief them on the situation regarding the new F-MAX Unified Heavyweight Champion, Ryo Inoue, who defeated Tetsuhisa NAKAI in dramatic fashion on 2/10. Nishida said that Ryo refused to appear tonight, but in his place, sent an official letter straight from the Steel Wind Dojo. In the letter, Inoue announced his intention to give one of "Fujita's children" a chance to win back their "trinket." However, Inoue said he would only agree to it if the match is held in his home prefecture of Hiroshima. After private telephone conversations with Inoue, a deal was reached, as Inoue will make his first defense of the F-MAX Unified Heavyweight title on 4/02 in Hiroshima. In addition, Inoue has demanded to have a preliminary confrontation with the opponent, as Inoue and two unannounced members of Inoue's T.A.P. faction will face this challenger and two partners on 3/24 in Saitama. However, Mr. Nishida said that an opponent had yet to be determined...

This suddenly brought out, of all people, OTSUO KAYUSA, who appealed to be the one to face Inoue! Kayusa cited Inoue's treatment of Kenichiro Hujikawa back in November as a primary motivator, but said that he now wanted Inoue to pay for disrespecting the championship Kayusa has yet to even challenge for. Nishida took a moment to consider, before finally being interrupted by NEW FORCE captain, Akira Takayoshi, who too appealed to be the one to challenge Inoue! Akira politely dismissed Kayusa as a possibility, citing his self-admitted lack of F-MAX Heavyweight title matches. Of course, Kayusa took this to hard, which resulted in a brief shoving match between the two. Finally, Mr. Nishida provided a compromise, announcing a #1 contenders match between Takayoshi and Kayusa for next month's Korakuen Hall show on 3/21.

- The first match of the night saw Tetsujin and Kinniku Kamen Nisei get one final chance to reclaim their prized possessions from RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji. For Tetsujin, he aimed to retrieve the ceremonial mawashi he received after high school from his parents. For Nisei, his goal was to take back the gyudon recipe handed down across generations of the Kinniku Planet Royal Family. The two were aided by Masafuji Yoshida, while Daisuke Iwata joined alongside RYUJI and Tsuji. But in getting this final chance, Tetsujin and Nisei had to put up respectively their hair and mask! The UPRISER'Z team ambushed Yoshida, Tetsujin and Nisei at the start, quickly turning the match into a wild brawl! Early going saw UPRISER'Z isolate Nisei, exploiting his perceived weakness. Eventually however, Nisei managed to mount a comeback, before tagging out to Tetsujin after countering Tsuji's Powerbomb with a Hurricanrana. Tetsujin impressed the Korakuen fans with his growing strength, as he managed to take both RYUJI and Tsuji down with shoulder blocks. However, he quickly fell prey to the experience of Daisuke Iwata. Towards the end, Yoshida looked to be the savior for Tetsujin and Nisei, as he caught RYUJI with a Powerbomb, only for Iwata to make the save. This left Tetsujin and RYUJI in the ring, who traded offense. RYUJI aimed to finish Tetsujin with the Tombstone driver, but Tetsujin countered with an innovative tombstone lift into side buster for a near fall. With RYUJI stunned, Tetsujin picked him up, before drilling him into the mat with the Tetsuotoshi, before scoring the big three count!

Tetsujin and Nisei were overjoyed to finally get back their cherished items... Of course, RYUJI and Tsuji tried to reneg on their deal by ambushing the two. But amazingly, Tetsujin and Nisei were ready, and fought the two heels off before retrieving their possessions! Tetsujin praised the efforts of both Tetsujin and Nisei, and encouraged them to capitalize on tonight...

- In the second match, a defacto title-elimination match was held between Etsuya Kawachi & Hidaka Kamon and the Okinawa Speed Stars to see who would possibly go on to challenge Jet Jaguar and GALLEON for the PWC Jr. Heavyweight tag team titles. Appearing for the first time as individuals, rather than CHAOTICS member, both men entered wearing new ring attire. As expected, Korakuen Hall was ecstatic for the high flying action before them. Both teams held nothing back, trading big moves towards the later end of the match. The more experienced NEW FORCE team looked to be running away with the match, until Ota managed to evade Kamon's Shoushinjisatsu, allowing Shirai to connect with a swandive kneel kick. Kawachi quickly returned to try and make the save, only to be blasted with stereo thrust kicks from the Speed Stars! Kamon suffered the same fate, as he ate both Ota and Shirai's feet from the kneeling position, setting up the Okinawan Impact, giving the Speed Stars the big win!

The Korakuen fans erupted with applause for the action they had just witnessed... After the match, Ota took the microphone, and despite what people thought, he did NOT lay out a challenge to the PWC Jr. Tag Team Champions... Instead, he brought up a recent challenge made by Nansei Nihon Pro-Wrestling's Wataru Yamada and Keisuke Rongai. Ota, showing some rarely seen spirit, ACCEPTED the challenge laid out by Nansei's HOT LIMIT team, DARING them to show up in FURY's ring! Ota ended his passionate challenge by SPIKING the microphone, earning a huge reaction by the Tokyo fans!

- In the fourth match, NEW FORCE won out over STRONG RIDERS in a close match up, as NEW FORCE leader Akira Takayoshi pinned Kenichiro Hujikawa's shoulders to the mat with the Tiger Suplex hold... After the match, Akira and Otsuo addressed their #1 contenders match. Akira said he admired Kayusa's feelings, but said that he was the best person to challenge Inoue. Kayusa however refused, saying he would make Inoue pay for his treatment of Hujikawa...

- The semi final saw the first-time team of Hiroaki Nakata, ATSUKA and YAKUTA, as they faced TAKU, Mastodon Fukuda, and Kyoto Okazaki of UPRISER'Z in a thrilling match. In the match's thrilling conclusion, ATSUKA avenged the destruction of CHAOTICS by pulling off a MAJOR upset by flash cradling TAKU with the Viento Clutch! ATSUKA tore into the F-MAX Tag Team champions afterwards, announcing that he and YAKUTA would challenge them for the titles! As usual, TAKU tried to downplay the challenge, but ATSUKA said that after tonight's result, they could not be denied. TAKU and Fukuda reluctantly agreed. However, a date has yet to be determined...

- Since returning to the FURY ring, Shigeru Iwasaki has had incredible luck, which earned his a shot at Shin Kaiju's F-MAX Jr. Heavyweight title tonight in Korakuen Hall. However, would Iwasaki's luck continue against the invulnerable monster? Early on, Iwasaki paced himself, and worked from the outside to pick the champion apart. But once the distance was cut off, Kaiju went to work using his brute strength. Iwasaki was banged up with an array of attacks, including a nasty overhead front suplex, sending Iwasaki hurling vertically into the turnbuckles in the corner, before landing on his head! Iwasaki however managed to get back on offense after rolling out of an early Powerbomb attack, before catching the champion with an axe kick to the back of the head, setting up an exhausting Backdrop, dumping the champion on his head! Iwasaki aimed to keep Kaiju grounded, as he fired off snapping kicks to the arms and shoulders of Kaiju as he attempted to get to his feet. When that failed, Iwasaki tried to knock the champion down with a kneel kick, only for Kaiju to CATCH him, and dump him with a modified backdrop! Things intensified later on, as Iwasaki's former partner, Daisuke Iwata grabbed hold of Iwasaki's leg, allowing Kaiju to ambush him from behind. Iwata continued to interject himself various times during the match, until Iwasaki finally had enough, prompting him to sail over the ropes onto Iwata with a plancha! However, Iwasaki played straight into Iwata's hands, as Kyoto Okazaki, RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji quickly pummeled him with blows while Kaiju distracted the referee... Kaiju would go on to control the match for the next few minutes, slowly breaking Iwasaki down with attacks. However, as Kaiju aimed to finish him with the Kaiju Lariat, Iwasaki fought back with a SHARP kick, knocking Kaiju's arm alway, allowing Iwasaki to take Kaiju down with a JARRING STO, stunning him long enough for a 2.5 count! With the crowd soundly behind him, Iwasaki tried to finish the champion, hooking him for the Cross Knell... However, the champion showed off his immense strength by lifting Iwasaki up vertically, even with his arm pinned behind his back! With one solid throw, Kaiju managed to hurl Iwasaki off, before BLASTING him with a short-ranged Kaiju Lariat! However, Iwasaki would still have some fight left, as he kicked out after 2.5! As the match came to its close, both men seemed spent after nearly half an hour of action. The two traded heavy blows back and forth, until Kaiju finally unleashed his Kaiju Hammers to the side of the head! With Iwasaki stunned, Kaiju went for the finish once more, coming off the ropes with another Kaiju Lariat! But again, the challenger telegraphed, BLASTING Kaiju in the face with an inazuma leg lariat! With the champion staggered, Iwasaki capitalized by connecting with the CROSS KNELL! However, as he went for the cover, Kyoto Okazaki pulled referee Edd Sasaki out of the ring, saving Kaiju! As Iwasaki got to his feet, Daisuke Iwata snuck in from behind, carrying his now trademark loaded gloves.. But as he thrusted his hands outward for the Cobra Claw, Iwasaki caught them, leading to a desperate struggle! Iwasaki finally pushed Iwata's hands away, only to be BLASTED with a loaded gloved punch to the jaw! As Iwasaki stumbled around, Kaiju finally finished him, BLASTING him with the Kaiju lariat just in time for Edd Sasaki to see, and make the three count!

Kaiju celebrated his win with his UPRISER'Z cohorts atop the beaten body of Iwasaki. Iwata verbally taunted his former partner afterwards, bragging about how he would never be as pathetic as Iwasaki, also saying that "dumping" Iwasaki was the best decision he ever made...
